"I do need sothing else here but with Li Fenghai instead." Cain said as he looked at Li Fenghai.

He then continued. "Do you want to work with ? Coincidentally, I don't have a subordinate who could tend these beasts. Don't worry about the pay because I will pay you handsoly and even help you beco a strong beast master. What do you think about it?"

Li Fenghai seed to hesitate when he heard it since he thought that he would probably leave this city, and this was the thing that made him hesitate.

When the fat man noticed that Li Fenghai seed to hesitate, he imdiately said loudly, "Little Feng… From today onwards, you don't need to co here again, and this is your salary for the entire year as well as a little bonus for you."

The fat man indirectly helped Cain as he fired Li Fenghai so that he wouldn't hesitate about Cain's offer as he had no choice.

"Sir, can I go back to my ho to give the money to my sister first? Because this matter is urgent since it's also related to my little sister, who's seriously ill at the mont." Li Fenghai asked for Cain's permission with an awkward smile as they walked down the street.

"Oh? Let's go there right away then. By the way, Fenix is also a pretty skilled alchemist. So, he should be able to heal your little sister, right?" Cain's eyes lit up before looking at Fenix teasingly.

Fenix paused mid-explanation to Ayla, who had been comfortably nestled in his arms, listening intently. With a confident grin, he thumped his chest with a fist and declared proudly, "Don't worry. If it's just healing your little sister, I could even do it with my eyes closed!"

Fenix did that as he wanted to show off in front of Ayla since Ayla was doubting his strength previously.

"Thank you, sir!" Li Fenghai bowed deeply towards Cain and Fenix, as he would be extrely grateful to them if they could really cure his little sister.

Both he and his older sister had been under imnse stress due to their little sister's serious illness. With no one else to rely on, they had spent everything they could afford on treatnts, traveling to every place within their ans, yet still failing to find a cure.

That's why after he received a lot of money from the manager that just fired him, he imdiately thought of combining his money with his older sister's to bring their little sister to a better place in case they would be able to cure her.

Fortunately, fate brought them to Cain and Fenix—skilled alchemists who not only claid they could cure his little sister's illness but even offered to treat her without hesitation. This act of generosity left him astonished, as alchemists were typically known for their conceited and profit-driven nature, placing their gain above all else.

"Don't worry about it, it's nothing anyway." Cain waved his hand with a smile.

Subsequently, Li Fenghai led them with a quick step, heading towards his residence in the west of the city.

"By the way… What's an alchemist, Uncle Fenix?" Ayla asked Fenix in the middle of his explanation as they walked, following Li Fenghai, who seed to be quite anxious.

'Why does this little girl's curiosity seem to be limitless?' Fenix started to regret his decision and felt that he was trapped by Cain as Ayla asked him about everything, literally everything that she was curious about.

However, at the end of the day, he still explained them all to her as he didn't want to be looked down upon by this little girl since she might think that he didn't have the knowledge about the things she asked him.

When they arrived in front of a small house in a slum, Li Fenghai imdiately went inside for a few seconds before going out with a confused expression.

He then asked his neighbor about his little sister's whereabouts and found that she was taken away by his older sister to see an alchemist.

He was surprised for a second before dismissing his thoughts and quickly led Cain and the others away, heading towards the alchemist's place inford by his neighbor.

However, when they were about to arrive at the alchemist's place, they heard soone shout,

"Get the fuck out of here. I told you that I can't cure her illness. Go ask another alchemist!"

At the sa ti when soone said that, Cain saw the beautiful waitress that he had given her tips twice previously being kicked out of the manor and falling onto the street.

She held a thick blanket in her arms tightly as she fell, and Cain was stunned by the scene that he montarily froze and was unable to react in ti to catch her.

He ca back to his senses when he noticed Li Fenghai rush at the waitress and exclaim. "Sis i, little Yue."

"What happened? Why did he kick you out?" Li Fenghai asked with a worried expression as he helped Li iling stand up.

"Fenghai. What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be still working at this hour?" Li ilin frowned when she saw her brother, as she thought that sothing bad might happen.

"I quit my job. Now, I'm working for Young Master Cain." Li Fenghai pointed at Cain, who was smiling kindly at Li ilin.

When Li ilin saw that the one her brother talked about was Cain, she was shocked as she didn't expect to see him here instead of in the restaurant or the inn.

"Oh, it's you, sir!" Li ilin bowed slightly before walking slowly towards Cain.

"Sis i, do you know him?" Li Fenghai was confused when he saw that his older sister seed to know Young Master Cain.

"Well, you could say that he is a regular custor at the place where I work." Li ilin answered as she glanced at her brother.

"Yeah, it's . I didn't expect that we would et here." Cain responded with a smile.

However, his expression imdiately froze when he saw a translucent data panel in front of him as the notification rang in his mind.
