Little White stood firm as his silver fur shimred under the daylight, a stark contrast to the inferno that radiated from the beast before him.
With a guttural roar, the Fire Salamander started to attack first as it slamd its clawed feet into the ground, causing the earth beneath them to crack and fissure.
The air around it distorted with heat as it activated its [Scorched Domain] skill, blanketing the battlefield with waves of oppressive fire energy.
The grass beneath them ignited instantly, turning the once-green landscape into a smoldering wasteland.
Little White felt the surge of heat wash over him as his paws pressed against the scorched ground.
He then reacted imdiately by activating his [Silver Eclipse] skill. His body beca a blur of silver light, his speed increasing exponentially as he darted across the battlefield, leaving behind afterimages.
The Fire Salamander's eyes barely tracked his movents before a gleaming crescent of silver energy slashed through the air—[Lunar Slash].
The attack tore through its thick, burning scales, leaving a sizzling wound across its flank. The salamander scread in agony, but its hide swiftly adjusted, and the cut was cauterized almost instantly.
It then retaliated swiftly, exhaling a violent blast of flas as it used its [Infernal Breath] skill. A swirling torrent of blazing fire erupted from its maw, surging toward Little White like a tidal wave of destruction.
Little White leaped high into the air, twisting his body mid-flight to avoid the flas. Even so, the sheer heat scorched the tips of his fur. He then landed with grace before his silver eyes locked onto his opponent as he felt a little bit annoyed.
Looking at the annoyed wolf, the salamander slamd its tail into the ground and activated its [Lava Surge] skill.
The ground beneath Little White glowed a molten red before lava burst from beneath him in an explosive fountain.
Little White then reacted instantly as he used his defensive skill [Light Barrier], enveloping himself in a shimring shield of moonlight.
The lava crashed against the barrier, sending ripples of golden heat through the translucent energy, but the shield held just long enough for Little White to jump away.
He landed on a nearby boulder, analyzing his enemy. The Fire Salamander's regenerative abilities were formidable, and its scales were naturally resistant to most attacks. But he had already tested a weak point, it was that his [Silver Fang] could definitely bypass its defenses.
Little White's eyes narrowed as he thought that he needed to strike fast and overwhelm its regeneration.
With a flicker of silver light, Little White launched forward, vanishing and reappearing in rapid succession around the battlefield as his claws slashed in quick, unpredictable movents.
The Fire Salamander roared in frustration as its body was riddled with deep cuts, its flesh sizzling as lunar energy seared through its natural resilience.
But the beast was not finished.
With a defiant roar, it activated its defensive skill [Blazing Armor]. A layer of molten rock ford over its scales, glowing like heated iron.
The wounds that Little White inflicted were quickly sealed under the newly ford armor.
Subsequently, the salamander suddenly lunged with terrifying speed, its tail coated in flas as it swung a devastating [Tail Whip] skill toward Little White.
Little White barely dodged, the scorching tail brushing past him, igniting the air itself. He felt the sting of heat against his side, but he didn't stop.
Instead, he activated his [Moonlight Empowernt] skill, his silver glow intensifying as his strength, speed, and regeneration surged.
He then circled the beast, feinting left before dashing right, launching another [Lunar Slash] at its exposed joints.
The salamander snarled, feeling the sting of silver energy piercing through its reinforced joints.
Seeing its attacks failing, the Fire Salamander roared and activated its strongest skill – [Volcanic Eruption].
The ground convulsed violently as fissures split open, spewing molten lava into the air. The sky darkened as fire and smoke filled the battlefield, turning the entire area into a hellscape of fire and destruction.
Little White gritted his teeth as he thought that there was no escaping this attack.
After thinking for a split second, he then made his decision.
With a deep breath, he gathered all his remaining energy and unleashed his current strongest skill once again [Silver Eclipse – Final Moonfall].
His entire body beca a streak of celestial silver, moving at speeds even the eye could barely follow.
The Fire Salamander jumped back, preparing to unleash another deadly skill [Infernal Breath], but it was too late.
Little White reappeared above its head, his fangs glowing with divine lunar energy. With a decisive motion, he lunged, sinking his Fang that was enhanced by [Silver Fang] directly into the salamander's skull.
A piercing howl echoed through the battlefield as Little White channeled every ounce of his power into the fatal strike. The lunar energy exploded within the beast's body, vaporizing its brain in an instant.
The Fire Salamander shuddered violently, its body shaking as its fire began to dim. With one final weak growl, its massive form collapsed to the ground, smoke rising from its still-burning wounds.
Little White panted heavily as his silver fur was now streaked with soot and blood. He stood victorious atop the slain Fire Salamander, his chest rising and falling with exertion.
AWOOO!
His triumphant howl pierced the sky, announcing his dominance over yet another formidable foe.

Little White wagged his tail, his exhaustion fading as he nuzzled against Cain's hand, knowing this was just another step toward his ultimate evolution.
Now that Little White's experience had reached 100%, Cain decided to upgrade his rank first before looking for another beast, but this ti it was for Nix.
