With a fiery burst of energy, Fenix activated his [Ashstorm Surge] skill. A swirling storm of embers and ash exploded from his body, disrupting the whirlpool and scorching the male crocodile's vines.
The male crocodile howled in pain as the intense heat seared its thick scales, but it wasn't done yet. Slamming its tail into the ground, it activated [Swamp Manifestation], causing the battlefield to shift.
The once-sturdy terrain softened into thick, bubbling swamp mud, making movent sluggish for anyone but the crocodiles.
Fenix's feet sank slightly, and he cursed under his breath. The swampy terrain restricted his mobility, making it harder to evade.
Before he could react, the female crocodile lunged at him with incredible speed, her body becoming one with the water. Using [Water Strike] skill, her entire form turned into a high-pressure jet, aiming directly at Fenix.
With quick thinking, Fenix activated [Ember Veins], supercharging his movents. His body beca engulfed in surging flas, burning so intensely that steam erupted as the female crocodile's watery form ca into contact with him.
The two clashed mid-air, sending shockwaves rippling through the cave. Fenix twisted his body and delivered a [Burning Slash] skill at a close range.
A fiery arc cut through the female crocodile's shoulder, causing it to screech in pain as it tumbled back into the swampy terrain.
The male crocodile was enraged and imdiately lashed out with its tail as it used [Verdant Overgrowth] skill. Vines erupted from the ground, twisting and expanding like a living forest, trying to ensnare Fenix once more.
Fenix saw it coming and retaliated with [Flareblade Technique]. His entire arm beca coated in fire, forming an intense blade of pure flas. He slashed through the vines with ease, cutting a path straight toward the male crocodile.
The male crocodile let out a furious roar and activated [Root Armor], reinforcing its scales with thick layers of intertwining roots. It stood its ground, challenging Fenix head-on.
Fenix grinned. "Let's see how tough that armor is."
He charged forward, flas roaring around him as he unleashed a barrage of [Burning Slashes], each one more devastating than the last. The male crocodile held firm, its armor absorbing the brunt of the attacks, but cracks started to form.
At the sa ti, the female crocodile recovered and let out a piercing shriek. She summoned [Aqua Prison], creating a massive sphere of water that trapped Fenix within, restricting his movents.
Fenix growled, feeling the pressure of the water crushing in on him. The female crocodile smirked as she reinforced the prison, while the male crocodile prepared a finishing blow with [Titanic Maw], its jaw widening impossibly large to swallow Fenix whole.
"Enough of this," Fenix growled, his eyes flashing with lethal intent.
As the crocodiles prepared to deal the finishing blow, Fenix's aura flared violently. He took a deep breath and activated his [Infernal Ascendance] talent.
BOOM!
A massive explosion of flas erupted from his body, vaporizing the water prison instantly.
His body beca wreathed in raging fire, and massive flaming wings burst from his back, illuminating the surrounding with an eerie glow.
The scorching heat forced the crocodiles to stagger back, their once-confident gazes now filled with unease.
Fenix's lips curled into a wicked grin as he hovered above them, the air around him distorting from the sheer intensity of his flas.
"Ti to end this."
The two swamp crocodiles, already battered from the battle, instinctively recoiled as the temperature around them skyrocketed.
The male crocodile, despite its thick, bark-like scales, let out a harsh, guttural growl in response to the trendous shift of power. The weakened female crocodile flinched as well, her watery aura rapidly losing potency against the encroaching inferno.
Fenix's eyes burned like molten embers as he grinned and looked at the crocodiles in front of him.
Without hesitation, he charged forward, his flaming wings granting him an explosive burst of speed.
The male crocodile reacted instantly, its massive tail slamming down in an attempt to crush him.
However, Fenix maneuvered midair, twisting his body to dodge with precision before counterattacking with a devastating [Burning Slash] skill.
The arc of fire sliced through the air, colliding against the crocodile's sturdy hide, searing through its thick wooden armor.
ROAR!
The male crocodile bellowed in pain, its body writhing as flas danced across its back. In retaliation, it unleashed its [Verdant Bind] skill, summoning thorn-covered vines from beneath the cavern floor to ensnare Fenix.
The writhing tendrils lashed out, attempting to constrict him like a living trap. But with a re flap of his blazing wings, Fenix incinerated the vines before they could reach him.
"Nice try," he sneered before diving straight at the male crocodile, his fists wreathed in fire as he activated [Ember Veins] skill.
His body surged with even more heat, and with a ground-shattering impact, he slamd his fists into the crocodile's snout. The sheer force sent the beast skidding backward, carving deep trenches into the rocky ground.
Just as he was about to press his advantage, the female crocodile interfered, launching a high-pressure torrent of water infused with its [Aqua Lance] skill.
The spear-like jet of water shot toward Fenix at an alarming speed. Despite her weakened state, the force behind the attack was still formidable.
Fenix barely twisted his body to dodge, but a portion of the attack grazed his shoulder, instantly cooling and stiffening his movent.
He clicked his tongue in annoyance before raising his fiery aura even hotter, evaporating the lingering water in seconds.
"You're annoying," he muttered before focusing entirely on the male crocodile.
In a blur of motion, he launched himself forward once more as this ti, he was aiming to end the fight.
As he closed the distance, the male crocodile desperately summoned its strongest technique—[Guardian's Canopy].
Towering wooden shields burst from the ground, forming an interlocking defensive barrier reinforced by layers of bark and stone.
The beast's eyes glead with determination, knowing this was its last chance to turn the tide.
Fenix rely chuckled. "Useless."
