"Let's go at it once again." Fenix smiled, his gaze sweeping over towards the six people who had already walked towards his direction with solemn expressions.

He then added, as his smile turned into a grin, "Who's going to fight this ti?"

"Which one of you is going to handle her? The others will follow to finish him quickly." Old Yan glanced at his n.

"Let handle her." A man in his early 30s stepped forward and licked his lips as he scanned Anya's body thoroughly.

When Fenix heard it, his grin imdiately disappeared and was replaced with a grave expression, as he hadn't expected that five of them would go at him at once instead of splitting them or even focusing on fighting Anya.

Fenix guessed that they must have thought that Cain's talk was just a bluff, as Anya's rank was just a re Peak King Rank, and even if she burned her blood essence for temporary purposes, her strength would still be inferior to theirs, resulting in sending only one person to handle her.

"Don't worry, just hold on for a bit since I'd finish him quickly." Anya patted Fenix's shoulder with a smile.

The man who chose to fight Anya stepped away from the main group, closing the distance between them. He had the characteristic dark attribute swirling around his arms, which periodically emitted flickers of crimson fire, hinting at a secondary fire attribute.

His stats were more than enough to overpower an average Peak King Rank.

[Strength]: 210 million

[Agility]: 215 million

[Health]: 220 million

[Sense]: 205 million

[Energy]: 213 million

But Anya was no average King Rank, and he had no idea of the explosive potential hidden within her 9-Tailed Heavenly Demon Fox Bloodline.

He sneered and rolled his neck as if preparing for a light workout.. "You should've stayed out of our way, girl," he taunted, a plu of black smoke curling around his fist. "I'll make this painless."

Anya simply gazed at him, her calm composure matching his arrogant swagger with quiet determination. When the man lunged forward as dark fire crackling around his curled knuckles, Anya let out a asured exhale, activating her second-tailed power, tripling her stats:

[Strength]: 270 million

[Agility]: 360 million

[Health]: 216 million

[Sense]: 252 million

[Energy]: 576 million

A flicker of Foxfire Fla enshrouded her palms in crimson red fire. At first, it seed small and unimposing, but her eyes glowed with a fierce brilliance. As soon as the man's fist shot forth, Anya dashed to the side with staggering speed. Before he could detect her altered pace, she ramd an open palm wreathed in Foxfire into his ribs.

Boom!

A muted explosion thundered, the Foxfire Explosion threw him sideways. He tumbled, rolling twice on the dusty ground before managing to brace himself. Shock etched itself across his face.

"H-how are you—?" he snarled, rubbing his side. His armor was torn where the fla struck, exposing a charred patch of skin beneath.

Anya didn't reply and instead, advanced like a ghost, silent and efficient. She ford her Advanced Foxfire into a shimring whip that cracked with fierce flas before lashing out, creating a scorching arc in the air.

The man scrambled back, forging a shield of dark fla to intercept. Sparks of black and red collided in midair, each sizzling upon impact.

Yet Anya's triple stats gave her an edge he couldn't match. She ducked beneath his desperate counter, stepping inside his guard.

Her foxfire-coated knee drove into his abdon, and a second orb of fla detonated point-blank against his chest. Ribs cracked under the combined pressure, and his breath escaped in a ragged gasp.

"Y-you little—" he choked, blood dribbling from his mouth. An inferno of dark-red fla flared around him, either a last-ditch attempt or pure panic, but Anya calmly sidestepped it.

A single, final lash of her foxfire whip tore through his neck in a searing line of fire fla. His eyes widened as his final expression was one of disbelief as he crumpled to the ground, lifeless, the stench of burning flesh rising from the fatal wound.

A silence settled about them, interrupted only by the crackle of lingering fires. Anya looked down at her foe's flaming body.

Her chest heaved, adrenaline still racing through her veins, but she maintained her composure. With that pervert dealt with, she turned her focus to the swirl of commotion where Fenix was forced into a desperate fight and dashed to his rescue.

The five n surrounding Fenix radiated deadly intent, and a swift flurry of attacks bore down on him as five attacks were attacking him at the sa ti.

Dark Flas erupted around a short sword wielded by a thin warrior, sending arcs of black embers into the air with each slash. Shadow Chains slithered forth from a purplish robed fighter, snaking toward Fenix's ankles and wrists as he intended on binding him. The bulkiest man in the group slamd a foot down, causing jagged Dark Earth Spikes to rise upward, attempting to impale Fenix from underneath. Another lean figure released a whirling gust of Dark Wind, kicking up dust and creating swirling vortexes around Fenix's legs, impeding his mobility. Finally, Old Yan drew back, whirling a toxic greenish mist into his dark aura, a lethal mixture of poison and shadow that crept across the ground like a deadly fog.

Fenix gritted his teeth. After summoning Ember Veins, he felt molten energy enter his body, increasing his strength and agility. Orange sparks glead in his eyes. Twirling both swords, he slashed through the first wave of Shadow Chains, flas flickering across the steel. The purplish robed combatant cursed and retreated slightly.

Clank!

The short-sword wielder hamred at him from the side, black flas scorching Fenix's arm. Fenix whirled and crossed his blades to parry. Sparks flew down, and he hissed as stray arcs of dark fire charred the bare skin near his wrist. Ignoring the pain, he launched a ferocious counterattack, delivering a Burning Slash that forced the attacker to retreat.

However, the brief fight left Fenix exposed to the Dark Wind swirling behind him. A funnel of inky gusts crashed into his back, pushing him forward. Looking at the opening, the bulkiest man imdiately capitalized with a Dark Earth-powered uppercut.

It smashed into Fenix's torso, hurting his ribs. He staggered, barely catching his balance before a series of Dark Firebolts from the short-sword user crashed around him. One of them clipped his right shoulder, causing a burn that tore through his armor and scorched his flesh.

Fenix suppressed a painful grimace and used his [Ashstorm Surge] skill, a technique that created a swirling shroud of scorching ash in a circular radius. The air beca murky with ash and embers, forcing the five n to retreat or suffer severe burns.

Fenix broke free from the entanglent of wind currents and dark tendrils during that brief respite. He whirled, slicing through the flas and capturing one man, a wiry fighter with Dark Wind powers on his thigh.

The blood spattered, and the man yelled as he stepped back. However, the comfort was only montary as Old Yan moved forward, the poisonous mist around him condensing into a dense, nauseating cloud. Old Yan threw both hands forward, piercing Fenix's ribcage with serpentine strands of poison-laced darkness.

Fenix managed to interpose one blade, but only partially deflected the strike. Pain erupted on his side, a scything burn that seed both corrosive and electrical. The poison caused a portion of his shirt to disintegrate. Despite his high health stats, the synergy of five great fighters weighed heavy, and each wound drained that imnse reservoir of vitality.

"You can't hold out forever," Old Yan growled, his voice filled with malicious satisfaction. "Even a top-tier talent falls when faced with five."

Fenix remained silent. Blood oozed from a gash on his left arm, and his breathing had beco labored. However, his eyes were filled with a ferocious light, indicating that he was not done.

Anya finished her brief battle with the dark-fla fighter, who had underestimated her. His carcass was smoking on the ground.

Since she was free, she rushed towards Fenix, her triple-tailed power still pouring through her veins. Foxfire sparked at her fingertips as she was eager to blast her enemy to ashes.

Surveying the scene, she spotted Fenix standing in a swirl of ash, surrounded by five guys. She breathed deeply as she observed multiple cuts on his arms, as well as lted or scorched sections of armor. Despite his defiance, he was plainly in trouble.

The bulkiest man who used dark earth skill noticed Anya and was surprised because he hadn't realized that the person who stepped forward to deal with Anya first had been killed by her since he had been focusing on dealing with Fenix with the others.

With a confused expression, he asked. "What the fuck? How could you–"

Before he could finish his sentence, Anya ca forward and shattered his forearm with a Foxfire Whip. The scorching fla caused a deep burn, and he recoiled with a bellow of agony.

In one fluid motion, she threw a Foxfire Explosion that detonated near his torso, propelling him back. Despite being alive, he was forced to retreat, furiously patting down the flas that clung to his clothing.

Taking advantage of that, Fenix charged at the swordsman with Dark Flas. The man barely had ti to protect himself before being struck by a scorching cross slash amplified by Fenix's Flareblade Technique.

Steel crashed against steel, and arcs of bright red fla collided with black embers, resulting in a blinding explosion of sparks all around.
