So, Cain's action as he slapped the young master of the Pyrrath Family was definitely going to anger them, and it was a situation where they had never thought about it.
Because the worst-case scenario that would happen in a situation like this was usually at most rejecting the offer with so kind of silly excuse.
Even Lucan's protector was shocked when he watched it, as he didn't believe that soone would go so far to offend the Pyrrath Family over ordinary won.
He then smashed the table as he slamd his fist on it, standing up and glaring at Cain for a second before coming to Lucan's side and helping him to stand up.
"Young master Lucan. Are you okay?"
Lucan slapped his hand and answered with an angry voice, glancing at the middle-aged man in his mid-50s with red hair. "Okay, my ass… Are you blind?"
He turned his hateful glare toward Cain. "Do you have any idea what you've done? You've slapped and humiliated the Pyrrath Family. You'll regret this."
Before Cain could respond, Lucan pointed his finger at Cain before moving it down to the floor as he said it with a wicked smile. "Because I'm not an unreasonable person, if you get on your knees and apologize, I'll forgive you. After all, you're from a hidden family, so I understand. But if you refuse…"
Lucan thought that it would be enough to relieve his anger and shift the humiliation if Cain were to kneel and apologize to him since he thought that Cain might have slapped him out of his anger and even thought about a way out as his family was no pushover either.
Cain only chuckled and shook his head in response before looking at him with a mocking smile. "You really think too highly of yourself. I don't give a fuck about who you are, or your so-called family background."
He paused for a sec before continuing. "Let make this clear: you're the one in the wrong here, and if anyone should be apologizing, it's you. But since I'm not soone who craves attention, nor do I have an inflated ego, I'll let it slide—this ti. I've got more important things to deal with than playing gas with you."
After saying that, he turned around and smiled at his group. "Let's go. I don't have ti to waste on a random dog."
"Woof! Woof!" Ayla suddenly mocked, mimicking a barking dog and darting behind Fenix.

Everyone was speechless that a little ordinary girl dared to mock the young master of the Pyrrath Family this blatantly.
Even Cain almost stumbled upon himself when he heard it since he hadn't expected that this little girl's simple action definitely dealt more damage than his long words.

A young man with purple hair, dressed in fine purple robes and sitting near the window, burst out laughing. He couldn't contain himself as he watched Lucan's humiliation unfold.
"Lucan, How does it feel? I couldn't wait to bring this news and see how people in the academy would react." The young man laughed as he put his palm on his face.
"Garran, you dare!" Lucan gritted his teeth, glaring at Garran with full hostility.
"Let's see if I dare when we get back to the academy," Garran chuckled, his smug expression only adding to Lucan's frustration.
Lucan could only swallow this humiliation since he couldn't do anything to Garran and imdiately thought for a split second before coming up with an idea.
"Capture that little girl. I will let her feel the consequence of humiliating , the young master of the Pyrrath Family." Lucan ordered the middle-aged man.
"Help , Uncle Fenix! I don't want to be taken away again!" Ayla imdiately hugged Fenix's leg tightly as her body was trembling in fear since she unknowingly rembered her past life.
Noticing Ayla's trembled body, Fenix gritted his teeth as he unknowingly had grown fond of her and sohow beca angry when he noticed Anya beca really scared because of her trauma.
The middle-aged man then nodded before disappearing into thin air as he moved with an extrely fast speed and appeared beside Fenix.
When the middle-aged man's hand was about to catch Ayla, Fenix suddenly grabbed his wrist and asked with an angry look. "What the fuck do you think you're doing? Do you really want to catch a little girl?"
"Do you truly want to defy the Pyrrath Family over an ordinary girl like her?" The middle-aged man asked Fenix, feeling a danger the mont Fenix grabbed his wrist.

"So what if I do?" Fenix spat, his voice dripping with disdain. "Pyrrath Family this—Pyrrath Family that. Screw your family. If you want to fight, let's take it outside."
Fenix even unconsciously acted out of place before getting Cain's permission about offending their family for real because he guessed that Cain might even bluff them as he acted to be from the hidden family and would definitely be a problem if they found out the truth.
What Fenix didn't realize was that Cain, who had been observing the entire exchange with calm detachnt, didn't care much about the Pyrrath Family either. Cain even already had a solution if they would ever clash with the Pyrrath Family.
The middle-aged man then moved his hand, releasing it from Cain's grasp before looking in Lucan's direction with a serious expression as if telling him that this matter wasn't a light matter that could be handled however they wanted it to be.
Realizing the seriousness of the matter, Lucan could only swallow the humiliation before looking at everyone present. "What the fuck are you all staring at? You want to gouge your eyes out one by one?"
Almost everyone imdiately turned their attention away since they knew the strength of the Pyrrath Family and couldn't afford to offend them.
However, so of them still watched it with interest as their backgrounds weren't to be taken lightly either.
Garran was one of them.
After looking at Lucan, who had already taken a step back, Cain felt relieved that at least for now he wouldn't be bothered with another problem.
However, as his group took a step toward the stairs, they froze when they heard another voice.
"Wait!"
