8pm

It was dark and cold outside, having just witnessed another downpour.

Silently admiring his handso reflection. Max licked his lips, and tilted his head sideways. Flickering his short mullet cut, he raised his chin, checking out his sharp jawline and the simple diamond ring he wore on his finger.

Money, it was really expensive but it was all worth it.

Tonight he felt different for unknown reasons. At first he played it cool and okay about going to a party but lost it at so point while thinking about his previous life. How he had been a fat fuck and often felt embarrassed going to a party because of it- he decided he was going to be different in this life. Though the decision was an abrupt one, tonight he wanted to go to a party without feeling any of his past insecurities.

He appreciated his sharp handso look, with his gloomy dull hairstyle now transford into sothing striking, he was like a whole new person. Not to look too indistinguishable from his usual self though, he bought a new pair of glasses to complint his outfit.

It was supposedly a black tuxedo suit but he had it customized.

Not only taking out the nice little tie, he swapped the inner shirt for a body fitting black turtleneck. Having checked the weather forecast earlier, he knew about the coming rain and bought a complintary winter suit jacket to keep him warm.

However, the most striking part of his outfit was the pair of classic chelsea boots he wore. So polished that it glead, reflecting the very concept of light.

Taking out his phone from the breast pocket,he checked to see it was 8:10 pm.

Unhinged, he began taking several photos of himself.

And about five minutes later, he stepped outside.Turning to see his car was nowhere in sight but a slick, eye-catching, Black Aventador S Roadster had replaced it.

Though the sight was blood pumping, he also felt a painful jolt in his heart at thought that he spent more than $500k in a single day. It was a huge chunk from his savings.

"Fuck it, I am going to live differently tonight."

Pressing the start button...

Vroom!

The engine gave a thrilled roar, reviving it he made a drifting reverse and stepped on the acceleration.

Vroom! Vrooooom!

He cared not to disturb the tranquility of the estate and drove off.

Barely hitting the brakes, everything appeared like a blur as he sped through the asphalt road without pause.

...

Vroom! Vroom!

In the front of a grandiose white building, stationed with heavy securities and threatening bouncers at its door.

Rows of expensive, fancy cars parked before it. Most gleaming off the rear light of the other. Numbering more than a hundred, the Parking Lot was bustling with new arrivals who were yet to enter the building.

Scenes of guys exchanging repeated handshakes was plenty. So even held onto wine glasses to make it evident that they had been into the building. Also between cars, a few could be seen adjusting the helm of their dresses, putting on their heels and adjusting their make-up. No intent of identifying the other gender.

Vrooooom! Vrooooom! Vroom! Vroom!

However, at this mont everyone paused to glance at the latest arrival.

A brand new slick Lamborghini appeared, and was the source of their attention.

Although shaken, each was an elite on their own. Not jumping or shouting at the sight of it. They all managed to suppress the turmoil of emotions they felt. And instead parted ways , watching in anticipating silence as the car parked.

"Which of the big shots is that?" A voice which couldn’t contain its curiosity whispered, only for soone to chip in beratingly.

"Shut up, all the big shots have already arrived." The person said, his eyes not leaving the parked car.

As soon as its bright rear light receded, they all held their breath watching the door open with click.

Sliding upward, a polished black chelsea boot could be seen stepping on the asphalt floor as they all arched slightly forward in response. Following a dashing straight back in a winter suit. Their eyes blazed with more curiosity to see his face.

...

And when Max truly stepped out of his new ride, bringing out the gift box he bought while coming.

He turned to gaze at the staring party crusaders.

Seeing him nudge his glass, they realized they had stared too much than intended. Revealing embarrassed smiles afterward, however, the puzzled confusion in their eyes refused to clear. Fortunately soone was bold enough to walk forward, seeing Max close the door.

It was the guy holding a glass of wine who apparently had been trying to rizz the girl beside him before.

Revealing a solemn and serious expression, the guy walked forwards. Stopping right before Max with a friendly smile. An act never perford before.

"Please who are you?" The guy said seriously, with a tinge of respect in his voice despite Max seeming younger than him.

Appearing stunned, Max pointed at himself with furrowed brows.

"?"

"Yes" nodding, the guy’s face turned more serious with anticipation like he was about to hear a legendary student’s na. Perhaps one of those Mythical SSS Ranked Students.

Instead:

"? I am Max." Max smirked, staring at the guy’s joker face like he heard one of the funniest nas in history.

"Max?"

"Hmm" Max nodded in response.

There was montary silence in the parking. Upon seeing the other was totally lost in thought. Max adjusted the package in hand and walked towards the security guards at the building’s door.

"Your QR Code Please." One said with a heavy somber voice, stretching out his muscled arm to collect the door.

For a mont Max pondered if he could defeat the forr if he put all the current free stats he had to his strength.

’Taking him out with my current strength should be fifty-’ but his thoughts were unceremoniously interrupted.

"Here you go." The hefty bouncer said as he handed him his phone. Moving away from the entrance to let him in.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

"Shit."
