Finished uncuffing his sleeves, Kael proudly got inside the ring.

The spectators bustled with whispers about Max’s defeat.

Clenching his right arm, Ethan stared dazedly at Max’s figure, forgotten by the crowd since he had let down their expectations.

"His reaction speed... he’s a monster," Ethan whispered, unheard by anyone because of the noise. His anger and misgivings towards Max instantly dissipated.

With no choice, he turned and walked away.

Inside the ring—

Bathing in the attention and praise, Kael signaled with his fist for the spectating Elites to quiet down. Then he pointed a finger at Max, a cocky smirk taking place on his face.

"Since you’re so straight and given... I’ll give you a chance."

Surprised exclamations erupted within the crowd. Everyone couldn’t believe it and tried to.

Because there had never been a precedent of Kael giving soone a chance. Instead, he would bloody their lips before doing so—just to show how brutal and skilled he was in martial arts despite his arrogant personality.

"Okay."

In response, Max remained unfazed, his expression neutral and causing the Elites to doubt if he was okay in the head.

Even Kael looked taken aback but managed to recover a split second later.

"If you sohow manage to dodge a punch from , you win and I won’t pursue this matter any further. And in case I got you, I’ll do the pleasure of beating you up before the crowd... Newbie." He added, flaunting his arms with a smirk as cheers erupted.

’Well... He doesn’t look exactly like a bad guy. More of a jerk who loves attention... Still the sa.

Since you’re so generous, embarrassing you here would raise question marks about my strength and skill. I’ll let this one go—for yours and my sister’s sake.’

The spectating Elites fumbled in silence while watching Max, who was lost in thought.

"...Sure."

Holding back a smile, Max replied.

"Hahaha, I see. Get ready."

Switching to a stance the next mont, Kael wiped off his smirk and acted like a predator.

Before the crowd could gasp at his martial arts skills, he struck.

His fist shot forward, fast enough to ripple through the air with the intention to punch Max to his knees while clutching his stomach.

However, the spectating Elites witnessed sothing amazing.

The punch hit nothing but the empty space where Max once stood.

They all took a cold, deep breath.

Even Kael looked speechlessly stunned, not expecting such.

Strike back with a kick, punch, guard, twist—a list of conventional movents—yet Max rely took a step back.

A prompt step backward that escaped the range of Kael’s fist.

Seeing Kael in surprise, yet to take down his hand—

"That counts?" Max spoke shortly while the corner of Kael’s mouth twitched.

"My bad, why not?"

Kael withdrew his fist and smiled to cover his embarrassnt.

"He really did it?!"

"Yes!"

"Wow! That was insane. I don’t think I would have been able to react to that, talk less of retracting to dodge."

"Don’t tell ..."

...

Everyone beca surprised, especially Evelyn, who had half-heartedly convinced her friends not to worry.

"Lyn, can you tell us why again we didn’t know you had a brother?"

From her side, Emma asked slowly, unable to take her eyes—like the rest of the girls—off Max getting out of the ring.

In the crowd, there was also a little gathering of six people who were yet to recover.

"We’ll never catch up to him," one of them said.

...

"That was aweso, bro."

Walking towards Evelyn and her friends, the forr rushed him into a hug when he felt her two softies pressed against him.

To his surprise, Viv flashed him a smile and pulled him into a quick hug before pulling away.

"You did well," she whispered.

Stunned by the feel of her B cups and her distinct fragrance, Max was left hooked for a split noticeable second and was about to nod a thanks when Emma followed.

"I might not have known you much, but I definitely don’t want to miss out on this."

Hugging him, she rubbed his back and Max had to reciprocate by politely holding onto her waist like a gentle smile would.

Several jealous gazes fell on him but he paid no attention.

Most unexpected...

Iris pushed back her long white hair and side-hugged him just to place a peck on his cheek to annoy the other two.

Sure, people were watching, and they seed not to mind.

Alicia was the last. Her cold facade had long since lted due to embarrassnt and the hypertension of thinking her twin brother would beat Max to a pulp.

However, things turned out like she hoped and now she didn’t know how to feel towards Max.

Seeing her contemplate, Max spoke first.

"It’s okay..." He said nothing more, but Alicia quickly looked relieved.

...

About to leave the Training Hall, Kael—based on intuition—turned back to see Alicia lightly hugging Max.

’You’re a strange one, but I’ll crack you open soon.’ He turned and walked away.

As for the fact that Max was hugging his twin, he didn’t give it much thought since it was her idea for him to scare the boys off and give her space.

...

’She’s got the best air around her.’

With a casual whiff of Alicia’s hair as they hugged, Max completed his assessnt.

’I’m pretty sure I can buy them the most fitting bra size.’

Concluding his thoughts while ignoring the jealous gazes, a hot brunette lady in a curve-hugging one-piece dress walked towards them.

Under the desire-filled eyes of the males, she stood before Max despite the hidden hostility from the girls around him.

"Max? The Provost needs to see you."
