A few monts after Dave had introduced the ladies to each other, all of them just stood there, sizing each other up as if they were about to go at each other’s neck. The silence was palpable, filled with unspoken questions and curiosity. It was only later that Sun had eventually broken the ice, her warm smile and gentle voice putting everyone at ease.
"You have beautiful nas, Aurora and Eldora," Sun said, her eyes sparkling with genuine interest. "I’m Sun, you can always co to if you need help with anything." Her words were like a balm, soothing the tension that had built up in the brief mont of silence.
Aurora and Eldora exchanged a glance, and then smiled back at Sun, their faces relaxing into warm, genuine smiles. They moved forward, and Sun opened her arms, embracing them in a warm hug. "Thanks, you have a beautiful na as well," they said, their voices muffled against Sun’s shoulder.
As they hugged, Ella watched, a small smile playing on her lips. She seed pleased that Sun had taken the initiative to break the ice. To be honest, she didn’t know what to do, or what to say, which is why she just glanced at the two ladies, but she was glad she had an older woman beside her to support and initiate a discussion.
She could only stand and observe the scene before her. But the once stiff atmosphere in the room had shifted, and had now beco more relaxed and welcoming, as the won began to connect with each other.
After the hug, the twins turned their attention to Ella. But it was Eldora that had taken a step forward toward her. She had her eyes locked onto Ella’s. "I know you," she said, her voice filled with a mix of surprise and recognition. Ella’s eyebrow arched, and she scrutinized Eldora, unsure of she had seen her face before.
But Eldora continued with her claim, her words pouring out like a gentle stream, "You’re the daughter of the restaurant’s owner. I always see you with your dad every evening I visit. You’re a good person, you defended one ti I was almost harassed at the dark alleyway beside your restaurant." As Eldora spoke, Ella’s expression changed, her eyes narrowing as she searched her mory.
And then, suddenly, it clicked. Recognition dawned on Ella’s face, and she gazed at Eldora with newfound understanding. "You’re the girl from back then?!" she exclaid, her voice filled with surprise. Eldora nodded, a small smile playing on her lips.
Ella’s eyes widened as she took in Eldora’s changed appearance. "Oh, you look so different now," she said, her voice filled with wonder. "Was it not last year?" she asked, her mind racing back to the incident.
Eldora nodded again, her smile growing slightly. "Yeah, it is," she said, her voice soft.
The conversation between the two girls blossod into a lively discussion, with Aurora and Sun joining in, their voices intertwining as they shared stories and laughter. The atmosphere was relaxed, with the won chatting like old friends, their initial wariness forgotten.
As they talked, Dave interjected with his usual calm voice. "Unfortunately, Simbi isn’t here right now, or I would have introduced you to her." he said, his words sparking curiosity among the group. "But sooner or later, she will be joining us." The won nodded in acknowledgent as their faces were filled with anticipation.
Just then, Jackie had appeared, accompanied by a group of people, that would be embarking on the journey to find the apocalypse spaceship. He had selected fifteen mbers from the rger group, the next thing was to select those from the beast tar group. Moreover, Eldora and Aurora’s roles within the group remained undisclosed, known only to a select few.
As the group’s plans were being finalized, Dave prepared to leave on his own journey, accompanied by Ella and Sun. Their destination was a eting with the rest of the executives, a gathering that would likely be filled with questions and scrutiny.
Dave was aware that Tasha’s absence would be a topic of discussion, but he chose to remain tight-lipped. He won’t release Tasha from his void space, he would make her existence to cease from this world, and she will only be rembered by him, and maybe by his wives.
However, before they left the town for the next, they still had one more place to visit. They needed to et Eric at his aunt’s house, a location he had specified earlier. At the ti, Dave and Eric had parted ways, each heading in different directions to attend to their respective tasks. They had planned to et the next day, but the unfolding events had prevented Dave from making it to the designated location.
Now, with their priorities shifting, Dave, Ella, and Sun had decided to find Eric before moving forward. They hoped he was still at his aunt’s place, and if so, they would et up with him before continuing their journey. With their plan in place, the group set out from the rger faction’s temporary base, leaving behind the familiar surroundings.
As they departed, the thought of their faction’s new na lingered in his mind. Dave knew that once he returned, they would need to discuss and decide on a suitable na that reflected the diverse groups now under their umbrella. But for now, his focus lay elsewhere, and he had more pressing matters to attend to. The journey ahead would demand his full attention, and he was determined to see it through.
...
The group assembled by Jackie was a diverse mix of skilled individuals, thirty strong, each with their own unique abilities. Fifteen mbers ca from the rger group, their faces set with determination, while the other fifteen hailed from the beast tar group, their eyes gleaming with a mix of excitent and focus.
Among the selected fifteen beast tars was Peter. It was Jackie’s decision to include him in the group. But it wasn’t because of his skills, instead, it was about testing his loyalty to Dave.
While the beast tars would be riding on their respective beasts into the city of Reeves, the rger group would also be transforming into their beast forms. This was so they could keep up with the beasts of the beast tars. The sound of rustling fur and the thrum of powerful muscles filled the air as the group readied for their perilous quest to find the apocalypse spaceship.
With a final check of their gear and a nod to one another, the group set off, their diverse abilities and strengths shing together like the pieces of a well-oiled machine. The distance to the City of Reeves stretched out before them, a seemingly endless expanse of terrain that would be grueling to traverse on foot.
However, with the rger group’s ability to transform into their beast forms and the beast tars riding their powerful mounts, the journey would be significantly shorter. Even with regular stops to rest and refuel, they would still make good ti, and arrive safely in the city.
For Aurora and Eldora, transforming into their beast forms was a necessity, it would allow them to conceal their identities during the journey, since they had to spy on the group. The transformation would not only mask their features but also grant them enhanced abilities, making them formidable companions on their quest.
The group moved with a sense of purpose, their determination and focus driving them forward, each step bringing them closer to their destination and the secrets that lay within the City of Reeves.
Two days had passed since the executives had last gathered, and Simbi couldn’t shake off the feeling of uncertainty about her partner’s well-being. As she traveled alongside three other executives, all significantly older than her, her mind wandered to the thoughts of Dave. She couldn’t help but wonder how he was faring in his expedition.
Their group had originally consisted of five mbers, but an unsettling discovery had been made a couple of days prior. Tasha, one of their own, was nowhere to be found. They had woken up one day, only to discover that Tasha had disappeared from their midst.
The group had tried searching for her, as they scoured every room of the building they had been staying in, thinking maybe she had stepped out for a short while. However, as the hours ticked by, there was no sign of Tasha’s return.
The group’s patience had worn thin, and after waiting for what felt like an eternity, they had made the decision to leave the building and head to a clinic near the designated eting area that Gunther had told them to et.
Their designated place of expedition was the large hospital they had initially arrived at, but unfortunately, its entrance was heavily guarded by military personnel who stood with guns in their hands, their faces were stern and unyielding that even the beasts hadn’t tried to attack the place.
Perhaps the beasts weren’t aware of the humans present in the hospital, or maybe they were scared to attack them, Simbi and her group had no idea. But even if they attacked, the military were sure to deal with them before they could try to enter.
