And he had twenty liters of it.
A laugh almost escaped his throat but he managed to stop it. This girl was really his rabbit foot.
The girl was standing a few feet away, flask clutched to her chest. She snuck a glance at Andrew and saw he was grinning so wide.
A rosy glow spread across her cheeks and down her neck, and her eyes had taken on a slightly glassy glow.
’First he saved ,’ she thought. ’Then he awakened my bloodline. Then he gave the treasure spear. And now he’s actually letting take a full flask of Earth Milk Liquid.’
Her heart was pounded against her chest and her skin was tingling. She looked at Andrew — really looked at him — and felt sothing warm and dangerous uncoil in her chest.
’Does he... like ? Yes. I think he does.’
Her face went from pink to crimson. She started fiddling with the hem of her shirt, twisting the fabric between her fingers, unable to et his eyes.
’What would he do if he knew I liked him too? Would he take out on a date? Would he take right here and do bad things to —’
She imdiately inhaled as sothing trickled down her body. Intending to distract herself from the thought, she unconsciously drank a bit of the Earth Milk Liquid to cool her hot body.
Andrew, completely oblivious to the romantic spiral happening three feet away from him. His initial happiness reduced slightly when he realized he only has 20 iiters of the incredible and miraculous liquid.
Twenty liters of grade-six heaven and earth treasure. It sounded like a lot — until you started doing the math. How much did a single dose require? How long would twenty liters last if he used it daily? What if the physique awakening required a larger quantity?
He shook his head. This wasn’t the ti to spiral into anxiety. He had the liquid. It was powerful. That was enough. He’d figure out the rest as he went.
A sudden sound interrupted his thoughts.

Andrew spun around and he stunned by what he saw.
The girl was being swallowed by a cocoon.
Milky, silky white threads were erupting from her skin spiraling outward and wrapping around her in layer upon layer of shell that enclosed her completely.
Andrew’s face changed. "She actually awakened a physique?"
He couldn’t help but be stunned. He’d rember this phenonon from his mory in school.
It happened when a physique was being forged inside a person’s body, and the transformation was profound, that the body needed to completely shut down and isolate itself from the outside world while it rebuilt. The cocoon was both a shield and a furnace — protecting the vulnerable body inside while the new physique crystallized at the deepest level of the person’s biology.
A smooth, oval structure about the size of a small car could be seen as the silk fused together and crystallized into a diamond like shell.
Through the shell, he could make out her silhouette. She was curled up inside in a fetal position, like a child sleeping in the womb.
"What kind of luck does this girl have?"
Andrew sighed in exasperation. First the golden dragon bloodline, now a physique. A mysterious physique. Which ant it was sothing beyond the standard classifications.
And he didn’t even know what kind she’d awakened. The cocoon wasn’t giving any clues
"Is she the main character or am I?"
He grumbled the words under his breath, but there was no real resentnt in them.
Just the weary humor of a man who had realized that the universe’s sense of fairness was a joke,
He turned his attention back to his own situation.
He needed to recover now, while he still had a window of relative safety.
Andrew pulled the flask from his inventory.

He uncorked it, and the scent hit him imdiately.
It was divine, in the literal sense. The aroma was impossible to fully describe.
There was clean sweetness of fresh spring water mixed with wild honey. There was warmth of sunlight on skin after a cold night. And underneath it all, an ancient sll, like the scent of the sky before the world was born.
He was addicted as he brought out his tongue into the flask tip, lapping on the liquid like a pervert.
The first drop made contact, and his world went white.
Flavor exploded across his tastebuds. Creamy and sweet and warm, with layers of complexity that shifted and deepened with every passing millisecond. There was honey and vanilla and sothing that tasted like starlight.
There was the mineral depth of fresh spring water and the taste of raw mana and the warm ho-cooked al after a week of starvation.
And beneath all of it was pure, undiluted energy.
He opened his mouth and imdiately downed and drank the Breastmilk slowly.
