At this point, the assessnt continued, as other people’s elental talent values continued being detected. Sure enough, Theon had the lowest elental talent value, followed by Daniel and Aamir who had finished with 8 points and 12 points respectively.
However, these two were already known to have no real talent. In fact, they were always ranked at the bottom, but would always reattempt to be certified at each year’s certification examination.
"This is the end of the first round of elental talent detection. Although the elental talent detection determines your future achievent maximum limit, it does not represent your minimum limit. This ans that, as long as you work hard, you can still beco a certified Geneticist," Aaron announced.
He then added, "Of course, I hope that those gifted apprentices with high elental talent values will continue to work hard and not put your talent to waste."
Everyone could not help but shift their attention to the three lowest achieving apprentices, including Theon and Osborn. The icy glares were focused especially on Theon, as the noble apprentices would not stop ridiculing him.
"Haha, what’s the use of working hard for people with only 5 points of elental talent? He will never beco a certified Geneticist."
"I really don’t understand where this garbage managed to cheat his way in here!"
At this ti, even the civilian apprentices did not defend Theon. It was so humiliating for him, as no one ever received a lower elental talent value than him.
At the end of Aaron’s short speech, tables and chairs were suddenly brought forth.
"Now is the start of the second round, the basic knowledge examination. Each of you can choose a seat. At each seat, you will find the examination questions. You are not allowed to search for the answers online or cheat by asking for help in the examination.
If you are found guilty of any of these offenses, you will not be able to participate in any more certification examinations in the future," Aaron said, looking very serious. "The examination results will be announced five minutes after this round is completed."
Such a fast turnaround ti ant that the optical brain would mark the test papers in a stunning speed. At this ti, Gordon, who was standing next to Theon, could not help ask him, "Brother Theon, you’re not going to fail this round again, are you? We civilian apprentices are feeling ashad. If you fail this round, we will be laughed at!"
"You can rest assured that, in this basic knowledge examination, I will definitely take first place!" said Theon, full of confidence.
"Brother, may I ask you, have you ever taken such an examination before?" Mayor asked.
"No, it’s my first ti," Theon answered truthfully.
Upon hearing this, Gordon and the others looked sullen and sighed helplessly. Theon had previously said that he had never undergone an elental talent test. And, his elental talent value had been the lowest among everyone, even breaking the record with the lowest score for all Geneticist certification examinations that have ever been held so far!
"Oh no, this ti we’re going to be laughed at again," said Klein, looking up at the sky with dread.
"Brother, you just try your best. Just get as many points as you can. If you can’t pass the Geneticist certification this ti, then you can try again next ti. You see, I’ve been attempting this examination for more than 20 years," said Clay, as he patted Theon’s shoulder and comforted him.
After realizing Theon’s situation, the civilian apprenticeship camp no longer had any hopes for him. They just hoped that Theon wouldn’t embarrass them.
As everyone sat down at random, Theon did not get to choose where he sat.
But, soon after he sat down, a black-haired girl in a long white dress sat down beside him. The girl had no expression on her face and seed not to care about anything that was happening.
"I warned you not to approach Jasmine, did you not understand what I said?" Osborn’s cold voice suddenly rang out from behind him.
Theon turned around, looked at him as though staring at a maniac , "You’re nuts! She chose to sit here herself!"
"A re civilian dares not insult the nobility!" Osborn was instantly furious.
"Osborn, the certification examination is about to start. Sit down." The force examiner rebuked him.
Osborn gave Theon a cold look, full of anger and coldness, then sat down behind Jasmine. Throughout the whole process, Jasmine did not even glance at them. It was as if she did not even realize that the two were arguing about her. Theon felt that an underserved catastrophe had fallen upon him.
"Ha ha ha, I heard that you did not take the foundation exam! Don’t be one of the last again, or it’ll be very amusing!" Osborn looked at Theon and laughed.
Theon looked back at him, deciding that he could not be bothered to pay attention to such people.
Osborn’s behavior seed childish to him. However, if he were to do nothing about his silly provocations, then Osborn would only think that he was an easy target and keep bullying him.
"You can rest assured that my grades will be higher than yours." Theon sneered.
"Ha ha ha, you think you can score higher than ?" Osborn sneered.
So of the noble apprentices beside them stopped and laughed too, comnting flippantly.
"Hha, did you hear that kid boasting that he would score higher on the fundantal knowledge test than Osborn?"
"Everyone knows that Osborn’s fundantal knowledge test was only one mark short of the perfect marks, and this boy has not taken the exam before! So crazy that he dares to say such a thing!"
"Let’s wait and see. We’ll have a good laugh about this later."
After the first talent test, Theon had been treated as a joke. This was because he was seen as having a pitiful talent value, as well as possessing a very low success rate. So, many believed that he could never beco a Geneticist. In addition, Theon was just a civilian, born with no status and prospects, so they figured that they could bully him as much as they wanted.
