A flicker of sothing unreadable passed through Graham's expression, but it was gone as quickly as it ca.

Like the expert assistant He was he opened the hover car's door. "Shall I take you ho?"

Ethan nodded and stepped inside.

Inside the Hover Car

As the hover car began its smooth ascent, gliding above the ground at impressive speed, Ethan finally allowed himself to relax.

He leaned back against the leather seat, exhaling slowly.

"I've already gotten tired of that place."

The academy, the socializing, the endless attempts to win his favor—it was all suffocating.

He didn't belong in an inactive environnt like this with no thrill at all.

He needed to be out there, testing his strength, slaying beasts, pushing his limits.

He needed to earn Fate Breaker Points.

The system had promised him power beyond anything imaginable, and he would not waste a single mont.

He tapped his fingers against his knee, staring out at the futuristic cityscape flashing past.

"Tomorrow, things will change. For everyone."

Then, with a sigh, he closed his eyes, ntally preparing for the day ahead.

Tomorrow wasn't just the Awakening Ceremony.

It was the beginning of his rise.

His heart was tense, yet a strange excitent coursed through him at the thought of what tomorrow would bring.

He had already envisioned the possible outcos, yet none of them instilled fear in him. Instead, he eagerly anticipated them, his expectations soaring.

Depending on the results of his talent test, things could take a turn for the better or for the worse. But the truth was—he actually hoped for the worst outco.

anwhile, As the hover car glided smoothly through the silent expanse of the Drakethorne family's private labyrinth, Ethan's mind was still occupied with conflicted thoughts about his newfound life.

The car finally descended into the estate's massive underground parking bay, where glowing runes lined the walls, subtly reinforcing the security barriers.

The mont the doors unlocked with a soft hiss, Graham, his personal assistant, opened the door with a slight bow.

"We have arrived, Young Master Ethan."

Ethan stepped out, the familiar cool air of the labyrinth mansion wrapping around him.

Though he had been here for a while now, it still amazed him how grand and fortified this place was.

The entire estate was built inside a fully conquered labyrinth, making it a near-impenetrable fortress.

Massive obsidian walls stretched upward, their jagged surfaces inscribed with ancient runes, humming faintly with power. The ceilings were high enough to make one forget they were underground, an illusion further enhanced by floating luminescent crystals mimicking a starry night sky.

The estate itself? A masterpiece of power and wealth.

Unlike the cold, chanical futuristic cities he had seen, this place rged both technology and magic, creating an otherworldly yet majestic atmosphere.

As Ethan walked toward the main entrance, a series of armored guards clad in black and crimson uniforms imdiately saluted him.

"Welco ho, Young Master!"

Ethan gave them a short nod, passing through without pause.

---

The mont Ethan stepped into the mansion, he knew sothing was off.

The atmosphere was... warr than usual.

Not in a bad way, but in a way that made him feel like sothing was about to happen.

And then, he heard it.

"Little Brother! You're finally ho!"

A soft, lodic voice rang through the halls before a blur of motion rushed toward him.

Before Ethan could react, slender arms wrapped around him tightly, a soft body pressing flush against his chest.

He imdiately felt the warm, unmistakable sensation of Mia's plush breasts pressing against him, their softness molding against his firm torso.

The subtle rise and fall of her breathing sent faint, teasing movents against him, a warmth that was both pleasant and mildly exasperating.

His body registered the sensation before his mind could process it, a reaction that he imdiately buried beneath his composed exterior.

He sighed internally.

He already knew who it was.

Of course, it was Mia.

His stepsister had always been bold, but this was sothing else.

He could feel the way her grip tightened around him, the way she tilted her head slightly so that her lips were near his collarbone, the way her soft curves pressed against him without restraint.

To any other guy his age, this would have been a dream scenario-a beautiful girl with an alluring figure, throwing herself at him so naturally.

She had nuzzled into his chest, tilting her head just enough so that her lips hovered dangerously close to the exposed skin at the base of his neck.

To any other guy his age, this would have been a dream-like scenario—a breathtakingly beautiful girl with an alluring figure holding him like a lover, her warmth pressing intimately against him.

But Ethan was not just any teenager.

He had long since trained himself to suppress unnecessary reactions—to detach from monts like these, to control his emotions rather than let them control him.

While he could acknowledge that Mia was undeniably attractive, he wasn't the type to let sothing like this fluster him.

Instead, he simply exhaled quietly, his mind

more annoyed than anything else.

Why was she like this?

Was it because she was adopted, so she didn't have the sa restraint a blood-related sister might have? was it simply her personality, enjoying the closeness, reveling in the fact that she could push past the invisible barriers most would hesitate to cross?

Either way, Ethan wasn't in the mood to entertain it.

At least, not tonight.

Not with everything weighing on his mind.

Ethan had forgotten how attached she was to him.

Or rather, how unashad she was about showing it.

"Mia," Ethan muttered, trying to move his arms, only for her to tighten her hold around him. "You're suffocating ."

She pouted, but reluctantly let go, stepping back just enough to gaze up at him with shimring violet eyes.

"I heard about your test today," she said, smiling proudly. "You were amazing, weren't you?"

Ethan raised a brow. "You weren't there. How do you know?"

Mia giggled. "Word travels fast~ Especially when our father is involved, Darius also kept tabs on you."

Ethan sighed inwardly. 'Of course, using father's na it's easy for Darius to get the results of the test, besides, he's the one that taught the Crimson Edge technique, it makes sense for him to be this curious about the results!'

It all now made sense

Before he could reply, Mia suddenly grabbed his hand, intertwining her fingers with his.

"Anyway, co eat with ," she said, her voice leaving no room for argunt.

Ethan frowned slightly. "I just got ho."

"And? You're still my little brother, and I missed you," she shot back. "Now co on, don't be difficult."

He sighed but let her drag him along.

If he resisted, she'd only get more aggressive.
