As the goddess concluded her words, an enchanting door swung open behind her. Out glided two stunning maids, elegantly maneuvering a brilliant crystal ball balanced on a pedestal.
With care, they placed the ball at the goddess’s feet, where it shimred brilliantly, radiating a light that seed to dance and sparkle like stars caught in glass.
"Alright, everyone," the goddess proclaid, her voice resonating with authority. "It’s ti for the Awakening ceremony! As aspiring heroes, you have the power to awaken different humans from this world. Please step forward one by one and lay your hand upon the crystal ball. Its glow will reveal your rank—from F-rank, the lowest, to the pinnacle of S-rank."
Xavier observed his classmates as they exchanged excited whispers, the anticipation palpable in the air, yet none dared to be the first to step up.
"Who among you will be the brave soul to go first?" the goddess asked, her gaze sweeping the crowd.
Silence enveloped the gathering until suddenly, a boy rose. Tall with tousled brown hair and round glasses, Bernad took a deep breath, steeling himself before advancing toward the altar, spurred on by the cheers of his friends.
He placed his right hand firmly on the crystal ball, their eyes fixed on him in eager anticipation. For a heartbeat, nothing happened, and then—without warning—the crystal ball erupted into a vibrant red glow, gasps echoing through the crowd.

The crowd erupted in joyous celebration. Cheers filled the air as students clapped and the girls scread in delight.
"Congratulations!" the goddess bead. "You have awakened as an A-rank user!"
Bernad exploded with joy, beaming as he descended to be enveloped by his ecstatic friends, who ruffled his hair and celebrated his triumph. His success ignited a wave of enthusiasm, and soon, one by one, his classmates stepped forward to discover their own ranks and powers.
So boasted D-ranks, others eagerly claid C-ranks and B-ranks, while cheers and shouts of joy rippled through the crowd with every announcent.
Then it was Derek’s turn. The diminutive but tenacious figure of Derek approached, his inconsistency often grating on the nerves of his classmates. He placed his hand on the crystal ball, and a hush fell over the audience, their breaths collectively held.
The crystal ball glowed an eerie black, sending a shiver of apprehension through the watchers. Derek gaped at the color, astonishnt etched across his face.
"What is that?" soone whispered. "So mysterious!"
The holographic display flashed before them yet again.

"Unbelievable!" they exclaid. "Derek got an S-rank!"
"I can’t believe it—little Derek!"
Derek erupted in triumphant glee. "Finally! I knew I was special! How do you like now?"
His mont in the spotlight was short-lived, however, as Dennis suddenly pushed past him, claiming his own mont.
"Now it’s my turn!" he declared, confidently placing his hand on the ball as it began to glow a sandy hue.

Dennis stepped back grinning, his infectious smile as bright as the magic he had awakened.
"That’s what you call real talent!" he proclaid, shooting a teasing glance at his friend who had just settled for a C-rank.
Next up was Brian. After a deep breath, he approached the altar, determination on his face. He placed his hand on the ball, which started to shimr a dazzling white.

Gasps filled the air, the goddess’s eyes widening in astonishnt. "This is remarkable—two S-ranks! It’s been ages since we’ve seen such a phenonon!"
Brian breathed a sigh of relief as he stepped down, a triumphant smile lighting up his face.
"Nice job, man," Xavier encouraged, patting him on the back.
"Thanks," Brian replied, still basking in the glory.
Now it was Bella’s turn. As she stepped forward, her fellow girls rallied around her, their cheers echoing fervently. anwhile, the boys exchanged glances, wolf whistles breaking the air. She placed her hand on the crystal ball, which began to glow an eye-catching yellow.

The girls erupted in cheers, but the boys fell into stunned silence, gaping at the glowing image. Suddenly, laughter rang out, breaking the tension.
"What?! Why are they laughing?" Bella shouted, confusion clouding her face.
"Yo goddess!" Brian chuckled, wiping tears of laughter from his eyes. "Did the ball malfunction or sothing?"
"Certainly not!" the goddess responded, her brows furrowing in confusion. "What do you an?"
"Because it said ’Saintess’?" Dennis wheezed, clutching his stomach in mirth. "That can’t be right!"
"What are you talking about?" Bella fud, her face reddening in embarrassnt.
"Isn’t it obvious?" Brian teased, still in stitches. "Bella a Saintess? Those TikTok videos of yours—how many guys have drooled over them? You’re not exactly holy!"
"Shut up, Brian!" Bella shot back, fury flaring in her cheeks.
The goddess smiled at the commotion, amusent dancing in her eyes, before turning to Xavier, her gaze piercing yet captivating.
Xavier stared at her, coolly. He didn’t like the way she looked at him. Since he ca here, he was already suspicious of her. The smile she gave didn’t feel genuine, and she looked disgusted. Was it his imagination? Wasn’t he sure?
"And now, it’s your turn." She announced to him. "Please co forward."
