Inside a dark hall with windows that looked over nothingness.

There was a lengthy table in the center with high-back chairs surrounding it. Around it were arrangents of classical furniture.

Although it was opulent, it exuded a sense of abandonnt as if no one had entered in decades.

Before long, the only door that connected to this space slowly opened and a small cohort of three cloaked figures entered while covering their mouths.

In the center was a small figure, but that was only because the two behind him were relatively colossal in size, reaching a bit beyond 200 cm in height. Even still, their height did not make them look like sticks, they were actually well proportioned.

"So musty!" the lead figure exclaid under his breath. He took off his cloak to reveal his thin and greyish face, it was almost as if he had just walked out from a room filled with ashes.

With his other hand, he produced a quick snap of his fingers. After that, the opulent hall was montarily set ablaze in plasma before it suddenly disappeared.

Only then did the man breathe fully and exhale a deep black smoke within him. "There, much better." he sighed in relief.

He checked the room around for a bit before standing beside the singular chair at the end of the table.

"Oh Lilith... what did you do this ti around?" he sneered under his breath.

After his comnt, he stepped back a few steps before pressing his hands into a prayer. "I heed the dark lord's call, so that I could offer my tribute"

After a second of silence, a dark skull manifested itself in front of the thin pale man, its hollow eyes suddenly shining with two red dots in each socket.

Once fully manifested, its jaws opened wide like a snake.

"What is your tribute?" it said.

"I offer half of my rit points, to revive my sister, Lilith."

After rattling and shutting its mouth in thought, the skull began to disintegrate into black ashes and flas.

"Your offer is accepted." It blurted out before finally disappearing.

At the table in front of the pale man, a figure was slowly being weaved together with strands of flesh and bones. The process was rather bloody as a result of the weaving.

Before it was about to finish, the man signaled one of his tall servants to hand him over a large towel. He quickly used it to cover Lilith before she was finally done being revived with the strands of flesh and bone.

"Lilith." the man checked the pulse on her neck, before lightly tapping her cheek twice.

Suddenly, she opened her eyes in shock. In that instant, the entire hall was suddenly engulfed in dark smoke and squirming tendrils that latched onto everyone but her.

Unbefitting of her appearance and figure, she leaped to the ceiling and latched onto it like a spider as she looked over her surroundings with a sense of fear and frenzy.

The man yelped, "rcy, rcy! I sacrificed my precious rit and I get this?

You're the worst sister ever!" he cried out.

As for the two servants behind him, they had already collapsed on the ground as the tendrils crushed their bodies tightly.

Lilith's eyes softened and finally cleared itself out from the fogginess of reviving. "Adam?"

At that mont, the black smoke disappeared along with the squirming tendrils.

Lilith softly landed down but she still looked around her with suspicious eyes.

After waiting for Lilith to calm down, he pulled back the chair from the table and urged her to take a seat. "Tell everything that happened and...

who killed you?"

...

Crash!Bam!

The sets of opulent furniture were thrown around by Lilith and her tendrils. As she angrily did so, Adam and his pale face beca even paler from the sight of her tantrum.

"Useless fucks!""What the fuck were those foreigners doing while I wasn't there!""n are so fucking useless!""I lost everything! I lost my precious toys!"

"..." Adam gulped. "...Perhaps telling who killed you would make you feel better?" he said warily.

Right after he finished his sentence, Adam saw a heavy desk flying towards him.

But before it hit him, the desk suddenly ignited in a flash and disappeared.

The entire hall shook under her screaming as she pulled on her black horns. Sohow, she wasn't able to recollect the specific details of her sudden death.

But after a while, from the fuzziness of her mory, she managed to rember one key detail. The killer's na. "Ferris, Ferris!"

"It doesn't matter if there's a million lives that share that na, kill them all!"

Adam nodded, "I'll see what I can do."

After gasping so air, Lilith collapsed onto one of the intact chairs in exhaustion. Adam imdiately went to her with a worriso face.

At first, Adam thought it was rely physical exhaustion from her revival but it turned out to be much worse.

"You've completely exhausted your blessing and essence, don't show up in the clan etings for a while, otherwise they'll look down on you."

Lilith quickly beca lucid. "Look down on ???" she scoffed. "Do you know how many people I had in control inside the clan? Because I died, all of my curses disappeared, and the first thing that'll co to their mind after being free is to kill their master!"

Lilith mustered up her essence to conjure a piece of tal that depicted a broken sword before throwing it away. "Let's leave the villain clan and lay low."

Seeing her throw the tal away, Adam quickly did the sa without hesitation.

The two then left the room through the only entrance.

They opened the door and stepped into a void.

Lilith turned slightly. "What about your servants?"

"They succumbed to even your weakened blessing, I should go ask for a refund." he comnted before snapping his fingers.

This ti, the entire room slowly burned away before strengthening itself into a firestorm.

"Slave traders are cutting corners nowadays, they false advertise, how shaless!"

Adam closed the door that led to the blaze and turned around to see another door.

He carefully escorted his sister, and opened the door for her.

They stepped out into a remote forest at night. Since she only had a piece of cloth wrapped around her, the first thing she did was sneeze.

She turned around to see an abandoned cabin. Beside its entrance was a small girl that had her face covered with a cloak.

"Urgh, out of all the places!" she exclaid before kicking the girl away.

"Even this Lumine has beco defective!"

The cloaked girl almost stumbled before standing upright, her movents were rather sluggish as if she was a puppet.

"B-be careful, their prices have gone up these last few months." Adam tried carefully to console his sister, after all, he just spent half of his rit today.
