Emi was having a hard ti believing that this gigantic beast could be a puppet of the Overlord, with such terrifying strength. She couldn’t even fathom what true horror behind that lodic singing looks like.
This monster was alone more than enough to flatten an entire city, but it was just a puppet of the Overlord.
I didn’t explain much to her, because after all, all I was doing was making assumptions.
Once the giant demon fully stands up, the height of the peak reaches the clouds. His face was made up of broken rocks, old and cracked. The mountain was like its shell. This beast could be considered a turtle in a sense.
The lady black was still standing there watching the turtle moving towards her at a slow pace. She wasn’t worried about the turtle, clearly showing confidence in her strength.
At this mont, the difference was actually huge between, from the distance we have, she appeared like a black dot in the night sky, very hard to see, but that demon, it was literally a moving mountain range.
I didn’t run, waiting to see how she’s gonna deal with this demon; their battle will give a clear understanding of these great clans. Instead of making an assumption, just based on the words I got from Ron and Adrine.

Each step of the giant turtle was causing the earthquake in the surroundings, its feet creating a large crater which could even be considered a tiny lake. It was moving very slowly, just like a turtle, but the lady wasn’t going to wait for him.
The lady suddenly took a long black whip. From this distance, it was like thin black hair, appearing in her hands. But I could feel the change in her aura as the whip appeared in her hand.
The killing intent that had been flowing from her body suddenly beca concentrated at one single point. All her killing intent was following in her whip. She raised her hand, making a motion to strike down the colossal beast with her whip.
Which literally didn’t look intimidating at all, because of how giant the beast was, and how tiny she and her whip were. They couldn’t even be seen clearly in front of the giant beast, let alone threaten it.
But I still believe that she might pull out of so legendary move like splitting the beast into two, with a single strike. After all, she was just like Ron, acting cold and trying to farm aura while having a face-off with that beast.
I didn’t know what was going on in her head, as she paused there after just making that intimidating motion. I was expecting so mind-blowing move from her. But all she did was pose while the monster was slowly approaching her at his turtle pace, obviously.
I continued to watch without blinking, whatever she might be doing, but she appeared really cool. The way she stood in the middle of sky and earth, facing the giant beast head on, really matches those manhwa scenes I fantasise about. She literally appeared like those manhwa elders, who split open the entire mountain with a single flick of their fingers. I didn’t know her real strength, but I couldn’t stop myself from praising her.
She was doing exactly what dread about doing. Since the day I got this system, I wanted to beco an aura maniac, but the world threw way too big a problem at , forcing to turn my back on problems and run.
Also, unlike those manhwa protagonists who have seniors and friends, help at the critical mont. I couldn’t really leave it to anyone else. I didn’t have the privilege of hoping for help. I am one of those lone wolf protagonists, technically, who do things just on their own. They didn’t need a family taking care of them from behind, nor friends...
"Hey, stop thinking all this bullshit, you are going to make my head explode." Emi got jealous of quite easily, so I had to forget about these things and focus on the upcoming fight in front of us.
The monster was now just an inch away from her, while she stood there with her whip, not doing anything else. It raised its gigantic paws towards her; only then did she finally make her move.
She slashed her whip straight on his head. The whip simply cut the air but didn’t even reach that giant turtle’s head. Of course, the distance between them was huge; it was impossible for her to strike that beast’s head from this distance. But sothing strange happened, and the beast suddenly paused, his rock paw remaining hanging in the mid air.
Boom!
Suddenly, the beast’s body fell, divided into two equal parts. He was chopped from the centre, the place pointed by her whip. All of this happened when her whip didn’t even touch the monster.
The monster’s body began to collapse into broken pieces after he was split by her whip. His body broke down into two different mountain ranges on the place where once a prosperous city used to be, which had been turned into ruins by the Overlord Demon’s ritual.
"She is..."
"So strong."
I completed Emi’s words while grabbing her hand as we began flying back to her ho. We used void eyes to stealth ourselves from her eyes. I didn’t know her strength had invoked a strange kind of fear in my heart. I couldn’t ss with these great clans, nor could I dare to appear in there enemy list for the ti being.
We didn’t turn back or take any extra glances at her or the scene she caused. We simply turned a blind eye to everything flying with all our strength.
"That was horrifying, wasn’t it?" After flying for a while, when we couldn’t see her anymore, I asked Emi. I could feel how shocked she was. Well, I too was horrified.
"Hm." She nodded and continued moving towards her ho. While making the story, we were going to tell our mother.
