I flapped my wings and flew towards her, crossing through the destructive storm easily. I appeared in front of her just in ti, before that bus hit her.
I wrapped my two wings around her body, pulling her close to my chest, as we barely dodged the bus, but still ripped through a little in that mont.
I could feel a sudden rush of pain, and my way was simple, using hellfire as the permanent painkiller. I tried to fly away from the tornado, but as I moved around the city, I was shocked.
There was no more city there; everything had been swallowed by the storm. There was not a single building standing there; everything was flying around within the tornado.
The sky was filled with dark clouds, leaving no escape from above, and the ground was completely destroyed by the tornadoes, leaving no one alive.
The sight was horrifying, even for . I wasn’t really expecting things to escalate this fast. At this mont, I didn’t know what to do or how I should feel about these things. The emotions within my heart are really getting out of control after I saw the scale of destruction of that evil spell.
I had never really taken that curse seriously, as the manhwa’s and novel destruction of the city had never been really highlighted. It wasn’t like just you look at it for a mont, and forget it. The lives were lost, not just humans; every kind of life that had been living here was now gone.
Sohow, I was able to feel the pain, the pain that didn’t belong to . I was able to hear their cries, I was able to feel their grief, and I felt that they were attached to in so way.
I was flying at a high altitude, just barely avoiding a storm, being under the watch list of lightning; luckily, the clouds were silent at this mont.
"Ricky! Behind you..." I heard Emi’s voice, turned to look behind, while increasing my flying speed, just in case.
Behind were thousands, hundreds of thousands of shadowy figures, with translucent bodies. They were following , just being a tre away from us. They didn’t need to avoid debris flying within the storm, as they were completely untouched by everything, following behind .
It almost made freak out for a mont, but I quickly rembered that the Wings I was using were called Wings of the Dead. So, the dead ones were following, then it totally made sense.
I paused in my tracks, just for a mont, to see if they would close in or not. Indeed, they also stopped following instantly, keeping a tre distance from .
I stared at the long-stretched ghost army pausing in unison. They were endless; no storm was able to hurt them, a true unstoppable force. It was really intimidating, and also sad. I might have these dead souls following behind . Sadly, this army of ghosts was born in the grave of an entire city.
"What are these things?" Emi asked. She didn’t know what these creatures were, but she knew , so when I paused, she didn’t panic. She was observing the situation calmly. Despite facing an endless ghost army, within an almost ruined city, devoured by storms, her willpower impressed .
"The ones who died here, when we were clearing that dungeon," I replied and started flying away from the tornado, which was coming for us.
"So, everyone died," she muttered. I didn’t know she was asking or what, so I simply focused on avoiding the storm.
As ti passed by, I was able to feel the change in the movents of the wind. The cloud around the Wong Zhi mountain was becoming hollow, forming a giant whirlpool made of dark clouds in the sky.
Even the Wong Mountain had turned into ruins, within this storm. Looking at the changing sky above the Wong Zhi mountain, at least I knew where I would find that demon.
I flapped my wing and flew towards the Wong Zhi mountain, cutting through the storm, leading my ghost army for the final war. As I was moving, hundreds of thousands of ghosts went behind , creating a horrifying sight for anyone to watch.
Seeing this ghost following , I was feeling the weight of the situation. The cost that this city had paid for this demon’s ascension.
Just as I entered the vicinity of the Wong Zhi mountain, I sensed sothing moving through the air, through the wind elent. I quickly used my Wing to cover the Emi, forming a soft feather armour around her.
Woosh!
Indeed, sothing smashed straight into my feather. I instantly opened my wings, throwing the attacker away.
When I looked ahead, I saw a red dot moving at lightning speed through the ruined forest. Its speed was super-fast for , but not for Mink, as he instantly chased after the red dot in the darkness. His speed had increased a lot after coming out of that dungeon.
After all, he had eaten almost ten tis more than Emi, and I had eaten together. His boost was definitely bigger than mine, and he instantly proved right.
"Screech!"
I heard a scream coming from that place, and I instantly threw the hellfire in that direction. Trying to burn whatever was hiding in the darkness. As the hellfire lit up the surroundings, I saw a black being pinned out by Mink on the ground, its eyes were glowing blood red.
His speed was fast enough as he suddenly dashed away before my hellfire could hit him. A few tres away from that place, I saw a black panther growling at . I instantly used my earth elent, grabbed his feet, but before the ground could grip him in place, it suddenly transford into that black crow.
I was shocked to find his shapeshifting skill, but Mink wasn’t, as he appeared right above the crow, his tiny claws trying to rip off his Wings.
