The skeleton's ti duration was almost up and so he went back to his soul. Upon seeing that it was ti, he summoned it again and erged from a corpse of a devil master.
The two then went to the next destination and it was by far their greatest fight to look forward to. It was dangerous and more perilous than his past enemies. The sounds of the Brutes were already heard from where they stood at, the cavern entrance.
Looking at it, Kenji imdiately prepared his spells. He could do lee and range by far and so, chose the most energy efficient and energy cost effective approach to the enemies.
The skeleton watched the front and was ready to attack anyti. He also has a sword in his hands and was gripping it with great grip. rlin on the contrary was watching the overall area of their defense. A most crucial thing to do and the most important one as he was securing their periters.
They looked at each other and then nodded as they agreed to proceed. Kenji was still on his edge and could slash any enemies anyti when it happens.
He imdiately prepared his wand and his bone armour spell. He still has to rely on wands as he was still a newbie and skills were given freely with its enchanted skills embedded to it.
He has now bone armour and could be confident battling with a physical or magical damages. The thing was, it was still weak but he would prioritise so skill points to it later when he would be a full build of Warrior. Like a Dark Lord feared by many that could lee and range. Whether support or damage dealing, no problem.
Then imdiately saw the enemies and then saw their numbers. Five of them were present and could be seen holding tree trunks. So were only with their bare hands but still, their height were 9 feet tall and could smash the hell out of you like you were a tomato. They have huge clubs which were tree lumbers as weapons.
Their arms and shoulders were too broad and could be seen like an overgrown monster that has it's face covered by a mask as it was grotesque.
They roared after seeing them and were alerted. The Brutes then ran and they were slow in their movent speed. Though if they dash, they would use their arms to ran in four legged dash. If only in their two feet then they were slow. With their body proportion, their upper body was huge but their lower body were small. Hairy too and slly.
They dashed and the skeleton ran for them with Kenji's command. It dashed to one and slashed the feet. Rotating to another 4 and slashed their sa joint which was the Achilles heel and then saw them kneel on the ground after his onslaught of attacks. A good enemy was an incapacitated enemy.
Kenji used Drain and then absorbed mana and stamina. Making him invigorated for a battle. Making him use Soul fire multiple tis on them.
rlin then used fireball attacks on them and damaged the 4 fallen enemies. Making it a smooth sailing ship.
The skeleton then saw the Brute elite and it was faster than its peers. It could dash like it's broad body was unseemly weightless. It could smash it's weapon like it was nothing. The skeleton was caught off guard and was smashed like a shattered bones. Making Kenji bit his lips in annoyance. It was eliminated with just one of its smash.
Though Kenji saw nurous dead bodies in which he could use. Making him smirk like a Villain.
rlin used flas but it just irritated the freak. Making it got his agro and attention. Kenji then used Soul fire but it's not even affected by flinch effect. The thing was, it has huge health points and could be a hard battle.
Kenji summoned another skeleton to distract him and also used bone armour and wielded his sword. He together with his skeleton, danced like a duo to attack while facing the enemy head on.
They coordinated their attacks and slashed with determination. Kenji hit him with ice effect and it was frozen for one second. Making the skeleton to leap on its head and stab it's shoulders with its dull weapon. Sadly, it was not enough for the enemy to get incapacitated.
Kenji repeated his ice attacks but in a flicker, the skeleton was slamd to the ground and broken into multiple pieces of bones. Kenji then was alard and it takes ti to cast a summon skeleton to the corpse. Like a one second delay. But it was enough to get hit by a huge tree lumber and that could be fatal to him. Not even his bone armour could save him and spare his life.
This ti around, he instructed rlin to assist his attacks with damage dealing combat style. He frozen the enemy with ice then rlin cast a Fireball that burns and explodes. Making the two to churn down its huge health points. Thanks to the Ice effect of the sword.
Kenji made another skeleton and gave it his short sword of the ice and then he focused on damage dealing. Sa with rlin's position. The skeleton will distract it and ice the enemy then the two would use damaging spells on it. Making Kenji to rest a bit.
Kenji used Drain and Soul fire in succession and it proved to be effective. Making the two to have faster lowering the health of the enemy.
They continued their attacks and felled the enemy. Making him pant and sighed. rlin imdiately smacked his back.
"Woohoo!" Kenji yelled inside the cave. Echoing in the process.
rlin then smacked his shoulders. "I thought we'd die there!"
The two then felt the place was cleansed from evil. Making them to smile and did a high five.
"Well, haha, is that all?" Kenji felt proud but deeply, he was taken aback. Though he said it as his warrior play through was even harder.
Also, he rembered that he has a play through of being an assassin which was a Ranger and Rogue and it was a good run. Also a Shapeshifter. His Guardian play through was also a ti consuming one as it has good defense and buffs but weak in damage. He was also good at Mage though his fastest and easier run was this ti around which was a Dark Mage.
The cave beca purified by clearing it. It felt more calming when inside unlike before. Though they saw mutilated adventurers hanged on the walls. They could only pray for their deaths to be avenged and they rest in peace. Though after that, Kenji heard a notification. Also rlin leveled up.

He allocated 1 skill point to summoning raise skeleton, 1 to bone armour, and 1 to soul fire. Making his wand entirely for decoration now. Though he wanted it to make its effects to be more effective as it's level with the wand would be level 2 all in all.
He has to have his own raise skeleton skill so he could do full warrior build while having skills of Necromancer. Though If he will use the wand, he could summon another skeleton into his bidding. Totalling it to 2 skeletons, multiplying his prowess as it has his battle instincts. Sa with other skills that were now a level stronger.
He need not to rely on wands in the near future or totems as off hand item. But depends if that item was unique or legendary.
Then he was a full warrior build now. And he was shocked at the Reap Ghosts skill he has. He could reap the Ghosts of Enemies that were strong enough and then skill Summon Shadow Lord would be OP in the future.....as he could summon enemy boss or captains.
"What?! I could extract their ghosts and make them added to my army summons?" Kenji nearly blurted out. Having wild thoughts of how to beco more sinister to his enemies.
