Reinhard looked around before quietly gathering snow in his hand and packing it into two ball shapes. He focused on making them heavy and then gently threw them up with a smile before checking the troll’s location.

After seeing they were still there, he nodded before he rushed out from the roots and moved along the ice.

Reinhard rushed through the snow and once he was halfway under the pile of snow that sat above. The six trolls noticed him, their gaze locked on him before they released an ear-splitting roar and stomped on the ground. They began rushing towards Reinhard, pushing away the snow that was blocking their way.

The first troll reached him quickly with its ice club already raised, and then it swung it straight towards Reinhard. He slid through the snow just as the massive club arrived and rushed over his head.

Then it crashed into the tree trunk, leading to faint cracks appearing before Reinhard pushed himself up.

Once he was up, he hurled one of the snowballs at the second troll, who was already close by. The snowball forced the second troll with the massive branch to raise its other arm to block it, allowing Reinhard ti to run.

And quickly escape the range of the branch that swept out before crashing into the ice.

Reinhard glanced upwards to see the pile of snow shaking, and then he focused on running as the other trolls arrived. He twisted and weaved between their weapons that hacked and swept out to crush him.

But all of them missed and sent tremors through the root and further caused the snow above to begin shifting. He evaded a sweeping club that struck the ice and then ducked under a spear thrust that crashed into the ice.

Then he twisted around and threw the final snowball at the last Frost Troll. The snowball struck its face, leading to the swinging of its weapon to go off course, and smashed into the wall.

It was then that Reinhard heard the rumbling sound above and felt the trembling of the area around.

It’s here! Reinhard thought in glee as the snow above fully shifted and then began falling. He started running with everything he had, holding back nothing as he swung his arms faster and faster.

He could feel his side hurting, his chest tightening, and his limbs burning as he closed in on the cavern.

He didn’t need to look back to know the six Frost Trolls had realized what had happened. As he heard their footsteps and their frantic roar as they began rushing behind him.

Reinhard couldn’t stop himself from laughing as he pushed himself harder and felt his lungs burning. While he heard the rumbling above grow louder, as specs of snow were falling down.

Just as the first chunk of snow hit the ground, Reinhard leapt forward and dived into the entrance of the root pathway. He rolled on the hard roots before crashing into the wall, and then he heard the thunderous sound.

He pushed himself to look up, and he saw the legendary sight of a phenonon he had read about, the avalanche.

Reinhard watched as the Frost Trolls who tried to jump to the entrance were devoured by the tidal wave of snow. He brought a hand up to his face as the snow continued rushing down and shaking the area.

After seeing the trolls being devoured, he let himself fall on the ground and lay down for a bit. He was panting, with the only sound around being the rumbling of the snow that gradually began to die down.

This trial is such a pain in the ass. Reinhard thought inwardly with a sigh. But he couldn’t complain much as the harder the trial, the better his beast should be. And the better his beast, the higher the chances of him gaining the Divine dicine.

Divine dicine... Can it really cure all diseases? Reinhard thought as he furrowed his brows. It was a dicine said to have been created from the life-force of a Phoenix, Hydra, and the Undead Lich.

He wasn’t sure why these three beasts, but what he did hear was that the dicine rebirths the drinker. Leading to anything considered negative being washed away, and the drinker’s body being extrely healthy.

There have been a few people who have used it, and the results have always been positive. He even heard it regrew the limbs of a high-ranking Inquisitor who was afflicted with a curse. The curses had suppressed their regeneration and forced the Inquisitor to be a cripple for life.

But once they used the dicine, it washed away the curse, regrew the person’s arm, and fully brought them back to peak health.

It honestly sounded a bit too good to be true... But I really hope it’s.

This dicine couldn’t be bought, and it wasn’t on the market. The only way to earn was from nto Mori Academy or from the Empire Army. He didn’t know why this was the case, but for the past few years, a rumor had spread around.

It ntioned the creator originated from nto Mori Academy and joined the Empire. And they only allowed them the privilege of keeping this legendary dicine.

"I wonder who made it. But I guess having their na spread would lead to a hectic life." Reinhard muttered as he moved up. "After joining the Academy, I can find out the requirents for dicine. Strength will obviously be a factor, so having a strong beast is basically a must. I don’t want to waste ti trying to find alternative ways or different thods."

Even if the Academy failed, the Empire Military is the next option. And I could try to find the maker of the dicine... Not sure how I can convince them to make one for , but I will cross that bridge if I ever find out. Reinhard thought as he fully moved up, now standing on his feet.

He opened and closed his hand before smiling as he could move them relatively fine, but his body did ache.

Reinhard glanced back to see that most of the cavern entrance was blocked by snow. He knew there was no way back now, as trying to dig through the snow would lead to many problems.

He sighed, leading to visible clouds to form and drift through the interior of the root cavern. He noted the bits of light leaking through and illuminating the place enough.

"It’s warr here, with fortunately no breeze." Reinhard muttered as he stretched his arms and then rubbed his hands over his body. While doing this, he began to inspect the cavern, noting the walls ford entirely of roots.

So of them were thick like a tree, and others were thin, but oddly enough, they created odd shapes.

Reinhard shaked his head and said. "No point in delaying, I warm myself up enough."

He then began walking forward on the roof pathway covered with leaves and branches.
