Vlad shook his head, clearing the mories.

When his eyes opened again, they glowed a brighter crimson than their usual terrible red. He felt his nails growing, fangs appearing in his mouth, and the magic in his body surging. He raised both hands, and then the ground trembled.

As he tapped into his Beast Spirit, Dracula.

Countless crimson stakes burst from the earth before rushing towards the countless roots. They struck the root barrier from below, piercing through the wood with terrifying force. Each stake was several ters long, dripping with sothing that might have been blood as they pierced through roots after roots.

Then, more stakes appeared in the sky above.

They appeared from nothing, hovering for a mont before plumting down like rain. The stakes struck the roots from above, tearing through wood, creating massive holes.

The forest roots trembled while the entire barrier of roots shook with pieces falling off. But even as damage spread, regeneration began. Wood knitted together, gaps closing, the barrier restoring itself with terrifying speed.

But Vlad kept attacking.

More stakes erupted from below while others continued raining down from above. A relentless assault that tore the barrier apart without pausing or giving up, even as the roots continued nding.

The roots began fighting back, lashing out like whips, striking at Vlad from multiple angles. So tried wrapping around him, attempting to drag him toward the barrier. Others simply attacked with blunt force, smashing down where he stood.

Vlad dodged effortlessly, flipping, ducking, and side-stepping the roots bursting out from the ground below him. Then, for the incoming ones, stakes erupted from his position, destroying them before they could connect.

But the forest’s response intensified.

More roots erged from underground while the barrier itself shifted, sections peeling away to beco offensive weapons. Chiras appeared, they were controlled by the forest, their movents jerky but coordinated.

Phantasm Beasts charged from the tree line, their eyes showing no intelligence, only the forest’s will driving them forward.

Vlad smiled wider before he tapped into more of his Beast Spirit’s power.

His eyes shone with a terrifying crimson glow, so bright it hurt to look at them directly. Blood leaked from both eyes, running down his cheeks like crimson tears. His white hair began changing color, strands turning red from roots to tips.

Within seconds, his entire head shone crimson.

"Governor of Blood." Vlad whispered with a faint smile. "Awaken."

Terrifying crimson light burst from Vlad’s body, a pillar of power that shot skyward, illuminating the entire northern forest. The light condensed, forming armor that covered him from head to toe.

Crimson plates overlapped like scales, creating protection that looked both organic and tallic. Crimson markings appeared on his face, patterns that glowed with power. Then two massive blood wings burst from his back, each easily fifteen feet long, dripping red essence that evaporated before hitting the ground.

The area around him warped as if reality itself seed to bend.

Then, a do that looked to be one hundred feet in radius, the blood field appeared, and centered on Vlad. Everything within turned red-tinted while the air itself looked like it bled and shined.

Vlad moved forward, no longer dodging, and smashed through roots with his armored fists, each impact creating shockwaves. The roots tried regenerating, but within the blood field, their healing slowed dramatically.

But more roots attacked, leading Vlad to raise his hand.

Seeker of Death.

A crimson-black spear materialized in his grip. Words were inscribed along its length as blood swirled around the weapon, and wind picked up despite no natural breeze existing.

Vlad hurled the spear with terrifying force.

The weapon blasted forward, piercing through a Chira. But it didn’t stop, and continued moving as it changed direction mid-flight. The spear moved in zigzag patterns, bouncing off one target toward the next.

It struck a root, ricocheted toward a Phantasm Beast, bounced again toward another root cluster. Each target it touched turned to dust, withered instantly, or had their life drained completely.

The spear continued its deadly dance for ten full seconds before finally dissolving, having destroyed dozens of targets.

But then more Chiras charged, and Vlad summoned sothing different.

Hrunting Sword.

A blood-red sword appeared in his hand, larger than any normal blade, giving off a terrifying glow. He swung it forward, and the sword rushed out like a missile.

Blood swirled around the weapon, and within that blood, the image of a massive spectral hound appeared. The bloodhound rushed through the area, ripping apart everything in its path.

It hunted the targets before Vlad, seeking out Chiras and tearing them to pieces with phantom fangs. Then the sword itself smashed through root barriers, creating massive gaps.

It was then that the roots tried striking Vlad from behind while he was occupied. His telekinesis activated without conscious thought. The world around him bent, space warping as the attacking roots slowed mid-strike, and then reversed direction.

They flew backward, smashing into other roots, creating confusion in the forest’s coordinated assault.

Then a massive root that was easily as big as a building ca crashing down from above. Vlad raised one hand before his telekinesis caught the root mid-fall, holding it suspended. His hand clenched into a fist, leading to the root crumpling like paper, and exploded into splinters.

Then ca sothing new.

Creatures erged from the forest, and they were shapes that looked like Night Terrors but were wrong. These were crimson instead of shadow-black, and these ones were bouncing off the root as they rushed over. Vlad’s eyes narrowed as he felt auras of Second Class Beast Masters, making them far more dangerous than anything that had appeared so far.

Three of them charged Vlad simultaneously from different angles.

Vlad’s body glowed crimson before he swung his arm in a wide arc.

Impaling Kingdom.

From the ground around him, weapons such as swords, spears, axes, and halberds burst forth. All crimson, all deadly, all erupting simultaneously, and they created a forest of blood-weapons that rushed outward in an expanding circle.

The weapons pierced through the approaching crimson Night Terrors, impaling them from multiple angles. The creature’s screech before being shredded apart by the weapons pushing through their crimson figures.

Yet even after he destroyed those Crimson Night Terrors, more enemies appeared.

The forest was throwing almost everything at him now. Hundreds of roots move in coordinated patterns while chiras attack from all sides, Phantasm Beasts charge in waves, and more crimson Night Terrors erge from shadows.

Blood stained the ground from destroyed creatures, leading Vlad to smile more and raise both hands.

Blood Constructs.

The spilled blood responded to his will before it rose from the ground in streams, defying gravity.

The blood shaped itself and hacked out.

It ford weapons that launched toward enemies, creating barriers that blocked attacks, coalescing into massive fists that smashed down on clusters of foes.

A blood tornado ford, spinning with devastating force. It caught roots, Chiras, and Phantasm Beasts alike, pulling them into its crimson vortex. Within the tornado, bodies were shredded at the molecular level, completely destroyed.

But the true power ca from the blood field itself. Within that hundred-foot do, Vlad had absolute command, and his power amplified beyond normal limits.

A wave of Chiras tried overwhelming through numbers, but Vlad’s eyes blazed brighter.

The blood in the Chiras’ bodies trembled as Vlad seized control of it. Blood vessels burst throughout their forms with the blood crystallized within them, cutting organs from the inside. Their lungs filled with blood, drowning them, and their vital organs ruptured from blood pressure that suddenly increased a thousand-fold.

The entire wave collapsed simultaneously, bodies convulsing as they died from internal destruction.

Then the blood field began shredding the roots that were rushing towards Vlad at a molecular level before they could reach. The air itself beca a weapon, as it began tearing apart anything that entered.

Vlad stood in the center of devastation, crimson armor gleaming, blood wings spread wide, eyes shining with terrible power.

Around him, the forest fought with everything it had.

Roots continued regenerating and attacking, and more Chiras erged, and other creatures rushed forward.

But Vlad held his ground as he countered every ti, every enemy destroyed, and the northern barrier continued taking damage.

Vlad smiled as he continued launching attack after attack. The forest would learn what it ant to face an Ancestor who’d waited two hundred years for this mont.
