Ten minutes had passed, and Ainsworth was still leisurely sitting on his golden throne.

After the A-rank Crimson Horn Minotaurs were wiped out, the SS-rank Dinsional Gate had released A-rank Venomtooth Basilisks, but they weren’t much stronger than the Crimson Horn Minotaurs so they t the sa demise as them.

Venomtooth Basilisks were giant lizard-like serpents with glowing venom sacs and hexagonal erald scales. They had the ability to petrify the target they saw as well as spit out pressurized venom that could lt tal and flesh.

Unfortunately, they were too weak, having been the first to die from Ainsworth’s Conqueror’s Will after he had previously started a staring contest with them.

Even if they were SS-rank monsters, it would be impossible to petrify him as that was considered a crowd-control skill. Due to the class traits of his SSS-rank Freedom Freelancer class, he was immune to not only mind control and charm but also other crowd-control skills like paralysis and petrification.

Because of that, while the A-rank Venomtooth Basilisks were much more troubleso to deal with to the average Awakeners in comparison to the A-rank Crimson Horn Minotaurs, they were all the sa to Ainsworth.

It was just a matter of wantonly showing how great his freedom was and then speaking of their death. Due to that, the corpses of the Venomtooth Basilisks had piled up on the streets near the dinsional gate, so Ainsworth had to store all of those corpses in his system inventory as well.

After the last Venomtooth Basilisk died and its corpse was stored in the system inventory, Ainsworth noticed that the SS-rank Dinsional Gate surged with more aura and mana.

"I wonder which monster will co out this ti. It will likely be a monster at S-rank due to the nature of dinsional gates. Either way, they will all die the sa."

While Ainsworth believed that, he didn’t dare to underestimate these otherworld invaders even if they were weaker than him.

After all, he would be screwed if he encountered a weak-looking monster who turned out to have a really cheating rule-based ability.

So, while he held contempt and disdain for those weak monsters, Ainsworth still remained vigilant as he sat on his golden throne, watching a large black silhouette leave the dinsional gate.

Ainsworth leaned forward slightly, his eyes narrowing as the air grew heavy with scorching heat and spatial pressure.

From the swirling heart of the SS-rank Dinsional Gate, a deep, guttural screech echoed across the ruined skyline, sharp enough to rattle window glass in buildings kiloters away.

A mont later, a colossal avian silhouette stepped into view.

Its wings unfurled slowly, like a curtain of midnight fla spreading across the sky. Sixty ters tip to tip, each feather shimred with black fire, licking the wind in chaotic patterns. Its violet eyes glowed like smoldering coals, intelligent and wrathful, while distorted ripples of space warped the air around its talons.

"Blackfla Roc..." Ainsworth muttered.

More shrieks followed. One beca two, then five, and soon the sky darkened with a flock of twelve S-rank Blackfla Rocs, each trailing streams of dinsional fire and violent wind currents as they took to the skies.

The temperature spiked unnaturally. Ash-colored clouds ford around them, and mana swirled like a hurricane.

Even from his golden throne, Ainsworth could feel it. The Roc’s ability of Sky Sovereign’s Domain was active. A vast, invisible pressure blanketed the area, making flight almost impossible for anything not recognized as part of the flock.

However, for Ainsworth, who was blessed with freedom, abilities that restricted his freedom would be nullified.

A re bird dared to activate a domain that restricted his freedom and right to fly?

"Tch!"

Clicking his tongue in annoyance, Ainsworth raised his right hand and then dramatically gestured it to fall as he spoke:

"Fall Down!"

As soon as his words resounded throughout the streets, all those Blackfla Rocs who were used to holding sovereignty over the skies suddenly felt they lost the ability to fly.

Seeing their bodies descend towards the ground, they all panicked and tried to flap their wings, yet an invisible rule that they couldn’t break free had imposed them with the demise of falling down!

In just a matter of seconds, they all fell headfirst onto the ground. Since they were S-rank monsters, the fall damage barely affected them. However, what made those avians furious was the loss of their ability to fly.

As proud sovereigns of the skies, how could they let a re human take away their flight?

Having no choice but to run on the ground like an ostrich, the twelve Blackfla Rocs opened their beaks and let out a screech, causing their bodies to be lit afla with black-colored flas.

Flapping their wings, even if they couldn’t use them to fly, they could use them to manipulate the black-colored flas as they directed them towards the hateful human that made them lose their flight.

Feeling the searing heat of the Rocs’ black flas, Ainsworth didn’t leave his throne as he still sat on it, teleporting himself and the golden throne into the sky.

Afterwards, Ainsworth opened his mouth and blew gently. His breath froze the black flas in mid-air but allowed the Blackfla Rocs to be unscathed.

He had used a combination of ice-based superpowers to create an ice breath that could even freeze flas with high temperatures, such as the Blackfla Rocs’ black flas.

Although the Blackfla Rocs had better intelligence than the Crimson Horn Minotaurs due to their S-rank power and status, they were still incapable of speech.

Otherwise, if they could speak, they would have already cursed Ainsworth for being a despicable and hateful human. Not only did he take their ability to fly, he even froze the black flas that they were so proud of.

Before the Blackfla Rocs could retaliate, Ainsworth decisively blew another breath, but this ti, he used his breath to transmit airborne viruses!

’At first, I was quite hesitant to reveal my SSS-rank Virus Evolution Sovereign sub-class and my class exclusive skill to create viruses and pathogens. After all, such an ability is too devious and evil as no one would want an Awakener who can create deadly viruses to exist.’

’In their eyes, I’d be equivalent to a humanoid biological weapon that can destabilize human society.’

’However, I don’t have to worry about that anymore as I’m already way too strong for my viruses to be the main reason to ostracize . As an SS-rank Awakener, I can easily destroy multiple continents with just my fists alone so viruses and pathogens would be the least of their worries.’

’The losses of offending just for this matter would be too much for them to bear. So even if I reveal I can manipulate people like puppets using my viruses, they will have no choice but to treat sincerely, even if warily, as they wouldn’t want to beco the victims of my viruses.’

’And besides, it’s not unprecedented for an Awakener to have mind control abilities. It’s only a matter of whether that Awakener had managed to offend those major forces or not.’

Of course, another reason why Ainsworth wanted to use his virus on the Blackfla Rocs was that they were worthy enough to be expendables. With these twelve S-rank Blackfla Rocs, even a newly promoted SS-rank Awakener would find it difficult to deal with them.

However, for Ainsworth, they were very easy to deal with. With just a blow of his breath, his viruses successfully entered the bodies of the S-rank Blackfla Rocs.

When it entered their bodies, their minds were hacked by his viruses, and they imdiately beca loyal to him. They already beco part of the Hive Mind, and they wouldn’t hesitate to do anything Ainsworth wanted them to do!

No matter whether it was to sacrifice their lives or betray the monster race, the twelve S-rank Blackfla Rocs would willingly do so!

After he obtained control over the Blackfla Rocs, Ainsworth no longer had an interest in killing them as they would be far more useful alive. For example, he could use them to scout the terrain of the Monster World as they were avians, so they could easily do that.

The virus developed by Ainsworth this ti wasn’t the zombie virus. Instead, it was a virus specifically made for the monster race. Having the monster virus improved the power of monsters and even allowed them to use both mana and aura if they could only use either one of them before.

At least, after Ainsworth had infected the S-rank Blackfla Rocs with the monster virus, they beca stronger, already considered a Half-Step SS-rank Monster. If they all coordinated with each other to besiege an SS-rank Awakener, then unless that SSS-rank Awakener has an SSS-rank Class, he’d undoubtedly die at the hands of the twelve Blackfla Rocs.

After creating the monster virus, Ainsworth had the brilliant idea of letting it spread and infect other monsters in the Monster World. That way, he could obtain ownership of the lives of the monster race within the Monster World and steal them from the demon race!

With that plan in mind, Ainsworth commanded the twelve S-rank Blackfla Rocs, "Enter the Dinsional Gate with . We will counterinvade the Monster World!"
