Chapter 61: Blastoad

When Desther turned his head, the capillary waves were only a dozen ters away from him.

Unlike earlier, there were now seven of them moving toward him at the sa ti.

’Are Blastoads always gathered in groups if one of them is in peril?’ This thought erged in his head as he looked at the oncoming Blastoads in the distance.

Situations like this were also not uncommon.

There were certain monsters that would always back up those of their kind once they sensed danger.

If Desther guessed it right, once he killed these batches, another batch would then arrive to avenge the first ones.

’This would be troubleso...’ he thought.

Fortunately, Desther recalled that he does not necessarily need to break the dungeon core to stop a dungeon breakout from happening.

If he could kill enough monsters, it would naturally halt the dungeon breakout from happening.

Of course, this was only a temporary solution.

He just hoped that the Title would count it as completing the mission.

Anyway, since Blastoads would reinforce and avenge their fallen comrades, there was no need for Desther to search around for them. This would save him a lot of ti, but at the sa ti, he must ensure that he would not get surrounded from all directions.

That would be easy to handle, to say the least. He had always been mindful about his location after all.

The seven capillary waves soon arrived a few ters away from him.

And as expected, they soon jumped off the muddy water and released a water blast toward Desther.

Desther cast and used five Theft Marks toward them and successfully stole half of their highest attributes—all of which were of the intelligence attributes.

Within a few minutes, the seven Blastoad left the world.

Right now, they were floating on the muddy water, unmoving and lifeless.

After this battle, Desther also felt a little fatigue. He was also getting closer to his limit for using Magic Bullet consecutively, and if he wanted to use it more, he could only wait for a bit to naturally recover the mana energy he used.

Desther took a quick look and realized that he actually received a total of 59 Free Attributes from the seven of them.

Not only that, he also received another set of experience points from two of them, totaling 21%.

His Magic Bullet also received so mastery points, increasing it all the way to 9% after the last battle.

This 9% enhancent could not be underestimated. After all, his Magic Bullet skill was already at Interdiate Mastery, and the higher the Mastery, the harder it was to increase the skill’s progress.

Since the Blastoad reinforcents were not here yet, he decided to take a quick look at his Profile Page and allocate his Free Attribute points.

Not only would this invigorate him, it would also increase his mana capacity and damage, aning he would be able to use Magic Bullet more.

’116.5 Free Attributes...’

Even Desther was speechless at that absurd number.

Using normal standards, there was no way any other human awakened could compare to him in terms of available Free Attributes. What was even more absurd was that, Desther was able to get this number in less than an hour that he was here in the dungeon.

Not wasting any more ti, Desther distributed his Free Attributes equally to all of his available primary attributes.

In the end, his attributes looked like this after he was done with the distribution.

[ Attributes ]

VIT: 45

STR: 45

AGI: 45

INT: 45( 9)

WIS: 45

[Free Attributes: 1.5 ]

Usually, every ti an Awakened Professional got ahold of a Free Attribute, they would always distribute it as soon as possible to increase their raw strength. However, Desther was too lazy to think of where the 1 would be distributed, so he just allowed it to sit there for the ti being.

If the others knew of this thought of his, they would surely vomit blood and bury Desther alive inside a tal coffin.

After the distribution, Desther imdiately felt the changes in his body.

Compared to a few seconds earlier, his primary attributes had doubled all of a sudden after his distribution.

He could feel the surging vitality of his body, the raw strength of his arm, the quickness of his legs, and the active mind as well as the abundance of mana contained within.

His previous fatigue was washed away almost in an instant. The mana he lost earlier recovered at breakneck speed, while the newly acquired mana for increasing his attributes was ready to be unleashed at any given ti.

Now, even without his Magic Bullet skill, Desther was confident that he could beat those Blastoads to a pulp with his raw power alone.

Calming his surging emotions, Desther took a glance at his experience bar and noticed that he only lacked another 1% to level up to 3.

He should be able to gain this in the next batch of Blastoads that will co.

Speaking of Blastoads, Desther turned his head toward a particular direction as he sensed an approaching presence.

Due to the increase of his attributes, he was able to sense them even though they were still thrice as far as before when he first noticed them.

Looking around, Desther also felt that the surroundings seed to have beco more vibrant. His eyesight beca sharper, and he could now easily spot a small moving object dozens of ters away without a problem.

His gaze focused toward the incoming Blastoads. As expected, there were now ten of them coming toward him.

They were just in ti. Desther was dying to check how much his strength had grown after he distributed his Free Attribute points.

He could not even bother to wait. He felt that the Blastoads were swimming too slow.

’I’ll et them head-on then...’

Not wanting to waste any more ti, Desther exhaled a deep breath as he leapt forward with incredible power.
