SSS Awakening: Creating Primordial Beasts To Be My Summons Chapter 21: They Finally Got Their Names!
Cohen sent the ram back into the gate and stepped into the circle, the pursuers trapped at its center.
The tall, lean man was two feet away, his movents giving Cohen the impression that he was contacting soone.
Montarily ignoring him, Cohen looked down at the knocked-out stalker.
He focused on the man, wondering why the weirdo was stalking him.
Then, he felt a sort of pull to him at close distance.
’Aside from his mana, I can also sense so odd energy within... This energy, It feels like Null Aura... no—closer to what I release when I baptise.’
Cohen still felt sothing was wrong as he tried to peer deeper into the man’s body.
’It’s indeed similar, but his energy is more... chaotic. I think chaotic is the right word. Is this related to the warning Primordial gave?’
His thoughts were interrupted by the lean man closing in on the circle.
"You have a good perception. You’re truly exceptional."
Cohen had caught a whiff of the lean man and so of his companions too when he used the active Perception of Gray.
The only difference was that the lean man was watching Cohen with a sort of protective stance, as if aware of the stalker.
The man wasn’t with the stalker. If anything, he was watching over Cohen.
This was why he had used himself as bait so they could deal with the stalker.
"Thank you for saving . Do I pay for such services?" Cohen didn’t react to the man’s complint.
The lean man laughed.
"You’re very interesting, man. Anyway, no need for that. We’re at fault for letting our ineptitude co back to bite you.
"Your ineptitude?" Cohen asked, guessing the man was ready to explain.
The lean man nodded.
"That man is from a foreign guild. He even managed to infiltrate our town. Although we were aware of his presence, we couldn’t locate him because of his exceptional concealnt skills.
"We even chose to monitor you just in the unlikely case he was drawn to you as an Outlier. If not for your capabilities, things wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as they did."
Cohen nodded in slight understanding.
’He figured out I’m an Outlier. His "friendliness" to is even more understandable.
’To the extent of monitoring though? I don’t even know your na. This doesn’t feel like a normal investnt anymore.’
The lean man seed to notice Cohen’s confusion and said, "Visit Haru Wednesday night. You’ll get a clearer explanation of the current situation."
’Boss?’ Cohen thought, ’From the access card, I guessed the Boss wasn’t simple, but this is looking more intricate than expected.’
"Oh, since things are now like this, I guess I can tell you my na now. Call Farahd."
Feeling slightly confused, Cohen simply said, "I’m Cohen."
"I know. I know two n who can’t stop talking about you. See you around."
Farahd, gesturing to his companions who had remained silent throughout, vanished from the scene.
’These undercurrents... I need to be ready.’
Cohen also departed from the scene.
After a while, the neighboring people finally gathered the courage to seek out where the scream was from.
All they t was barely noticeable colorful gas in the air.

By the ti he returned ho, the tension had yet to leave his shoulders.
Yet Cohen opened the door to his apartnt with a bustling energy.
"Ceha, I’m ho. What’s for dinn—"
A young lady with black hair and brown eyes stood at the door, glaring at him like he’d committed a cri.
Walking to him, the girl weakly hit her hands on her brother’s chest.
"Damned workhorse."
Taking her punches like it was nothing, Cohen chuckled. "Gentle with your words. Mom wouldn’t like that."
Ceha continued, "Where were you? You had worried!"
Cohen pulled her back and shrugged. He walked to the single couch and sprawled on it.
"I ssaged you that I’ll be hunting for a night. Locked in period, rember?"
Ceha turned to him, pestering him like she was babysitting him.
"Were you so busy that you couldn’t read my texts?"
He laughed nervously, ’Thank goodness I was able to clean up. Her reaction would have been so much worse.’
"Yes, I actually was." Cohen flashed Ceha a mischievous smile. "A very productive day!"
Ceha, seeing his look, knew her brother had either done sothing crazy and dangerous or was planning to.
In this case, it seems he had done sothing.
"Cohen... What did you—"
She was cut short when Cohen showed her his bank account. His balance stunned her.
She rushed to him and grabbed his phone, staring seriously as if doubting its authenticity.
"I hunted quite a lot. I awakened a class and talent that are fairly strong."
Ceha looked between Cohen and the phone in her hands.
The next mont, she rushed at Cohen, closing in on him.
"Take off your shirt! How are your injuries? Are you sure there’s no problem?"
Cohen knew his sister wouldn’t let him free, so he raised his shirt, revealing so dark spots and very little claw slashes.
Her fingers hovered over the wounds, hesitant to touch.
"I already bought quality potions out of that money so I’ll be 95% fine by morning. Only this hit on my rib will take a bit. I’m fine, I promise."
Ceha remained silent, her gaze lingering on Cohen.
She sighed. "Alright. Make sure to rub those special ointnts you usually use. Also, invest your money in good equipnt, okay? I’m sure that’s already your plan."
’She gets so worried.’
Cohen shook his head carefreely. "Yeah, yeah. Be more like girls your age. Why don’t you ask to spend part of the money on you."
Ceha tsked and pursed her lips. "It’s because you’re my brother."
Cohen laughed wholeheartedly, before saying, "I have one more surprise."
To not scare her, he gestured to his left.
Space warped beside him, cutting in two like scissors on fabric.
Gate of the Baptised.
Three Rams, the brothers and small, walked out of the rift. Bobby, having recovered a bit, also hopped out of the gate and landed on Cohen’s head.
Ceha, instead of being scared, approached the rams and hugged the brothers.
"Aw Cohen, you’re a tar? These beasts look so cute!"
The brothers looked at each other, a proud look crossing their features. The small ram stayed behind, watching with a sowhat blank expression.
’You really should act like girls your age,’ he said in his heart, seeing her reaction.
"My abilities are akin to a tar."
Ceha noticed Cohen didn’t want to explain the details, so she refrained from asking further.
"What type of creature are these? They look rare! They will be fighting with you, right? Did you give them nas?"
Cohen replied:
"Actually, I want to leave those two big guys with you.
"That little one and Bobby over here, and so others that I don’t want to reveal anyhow, will be responsible for fighting with ."
Bobby displayed its recovery by bouncing on Cohen’s head, a bit of its body extending to wave at Ceha.
"This is so adorable! These guys are for ?! I always thought having a monster by would lessen your worries!"
"Just do a favour and na the three of them."
’I’ll give smally the honor of being nad by my sister too!’
Ceha was so excited, she imdiately faced the two rams in her present.
She wore a thoughtful look and said, "You guys give a brotherly feeling, so I’ll give you... Nyx–"
"Hold on. I nad soone else sothing similar to that already."
"Hehe, great minds think alike. We could go with Cas and Pollux instead. You with the more glowing horn, you’ll be Pollux."
The rams exchanged a glance, the ecstatic feeling of finally reaching their goal showing.
They turned to Ceha, releasing soft ram noises, and rubbing their heads gently against her.
"I’m glad you like it!" Ceha giggled.
’Such a performative duo. I trust you guys to keep watch of her while I look for a more secure way to protect her.’
Ceha then proceeded to the small ram that sat gently on the floor.
"Are you shy? Can beasts be shy?" she asked curiously before calling for it. "Co, co. It’s your turn."
The small ram looked at the bigger rams. After being prompted to move forward, it passed through the gap they had ford and sat in front of Ceha.
"You don’t need to be shy, scared or worried about anything, okay? That’s my job. Just help my brother properly, Cas and Pollux seem to acknowledge you so you must be capable."
"Hide.... That’s your na now!"
Smally, now Hide, seed more happy than expected as it also released a sound before nodding its head at Ceha.
Ceha felt the warm, genuine feelings of the ram, making her hug them again.
At that mont, Bobby jumped onto Ceha’s head and started bobbling up and down on it.
Ceha pulled it off her head and held it like a baby.
"You’re all so cute!"
Ceha began singing and dancing along with the rams under Cohen’s satisfied gaze.
Eventually, laughter filled the apartnt as they held a small celebration—brief, warm, and just enough to forget the dangers waiting outside.
