The elf smirked. "Looks like the show is about to just start."
Then she turned to the Cyclops around her and pointed straight at Alia and Minato. "Kill them all."
The Cyclops responded imdiately. Their heavy and dried feet slamd against the ground as they began moving toward them. Each step made the cracked street concrete shake.
The elf girl waved her hands twice. A very small portal, the size of a door, appeared beside her, showing the mountain where Portal 3 was located, now much closer though still in the distance.
There was green smoke and light coming from it, and the atmosphere around the portal looked very unstable.
She looked back at Minato, smiled, and blew him a kiss of mockery.
"See you soon, human... oh, that is... if you survive this," she said, laughing before walking inside the small portal she created. The portal closed behind her with a low rumble noise.
Minato’s eyes twitched twice in anger. He clenched his fists tightly. Then his hoodie tore open from the back as sothing started pushing out from under his skin. His muscles tensed, and blood spilled from his shoulders’ bone. Two large, dark red wings ca out, covered in veins and dripping blood.

Alia took a step back, surprised by the sudden appearance. "Minato..." she called his na quietly.
Minato didn’t respond. His eyes were glowing blood red now. He moved his hands forward and gathered blood from his own wounds.
The blood spun around his arm before turning into a large axe... not the sword he usually used. The axe was heavier, with a thick handle and a wide blade that dripped slowly onto the ground.
The Cyclops closest to them roared and started running faster. Its heavy steps broke the ground countless tis.
Minato spread his wings and launched himself forward. His movent broke the ground under him. He moved fast and reached the Cyclops before it could swing its massive arm.
Using both hands, Minato swung the blood axe into its forearm. The axe cut through the skin and bone, slicing the arm almost completely off.
The Cyclops scread and tried to grab him with the other hand, but Minato moved to the side and jumped up again using his wings. He turned in midair and ca down with the axe, hitting the Cyclops on the head. The head and skull broke apart and blood sprayed out, covering Minato’s clothes and face.
Another Cyclops moved in from behind. Alia ran forward. She ford a blood sword from her palm and slashed the Cyclops across its leg. The cut was deep enough to make it fall to one knee. Minato landed beside her and swung his axe again, cutting into its neck until it stopped moving.
Three more Cyclops ca from their group. Each was bigger than the last, their eyes were glowing yellow.
Minato looked at Alia. "Don’t hold back," he said, shouting.
(She is still holding back though 😂.)
Alia nodded. She pulled her blood sword up and extended it into a longer blade. Her expression was now more cold and focused.
The Cyclops roared again and ran toward them.
Minato spread his wings, lifted himself off the ground, and flew straight at the first one. He hit its chest with full force, pushing it backward, then swung the axe horizontally, cutting deep across its chest. Alia moved under him and stabbed another Cyclops in the stomach several tis in fast gestures.
The sound of their blood weapons hitting flesh and bone echoed across the street. Blood and pieces of stone covered the entire area.
When the last Cyclops in front of them fell, Minato stood still, holding the blood axe tightly. His breathing was heavy, and blood was dripping from his wings. Alia was beside him, her face and hands covered in red stains.
In the distance, another explosion ca from the mountain direction. The sky above that area turned dark green.

The glowing system notifications floated in front of Minato’s eyes for a few seconds before fading away. He stood still, his breathing heavy, his wings dripping blood onto the cracked ground, before retracting into his back.
While he was still trying to understand what the ssage ant, he started hearing voices from behind him... many of them.
He turned around. The sound was coming from the university courtyard. Dozens of students were running out from the building. So were shouting, others were crying.
Most of them stopped the mont they saw the destroyed street, the giant bodies of the Cyclops, and Minato standing in the middle of it all.
"Oh God... what is that?" one male student said, pointing toward the nearest Cyclops.
"What’s happening?" another shouted.
People started gathering, forming a half-circle near the university gate. Their eyes were wide, so holding their phones up to record, others too scared to move.
Then a familiar voice rose above all the other voices.
"Minato-kun!"
Minato looked up imdiately. It was Himari. She was standing near the front of the crowd, her face was pale and her eyes full of worry.
He didn’t respond. He just started walking toward her, slowly, stepping over broken concrete and pieces of Cyclops bodies scattered on the ground. His clothes were torn, his hands were covered in blood, and his hoodie hung open at the back where his wings had torn through.
The university students moved aside as he got closer. Nobody said anything until he reached the university gate.
Himari ran up to him, ignoring everyone else. She stopped right in front of him and started looking him over, checking his arms, chest, and face. "Minato... are you alright? What’s going on? I saw you fighting those monsters... how... how is that even possible?"
Her voice was shaking, but she didn’t back away.
One of the male students shouted from behind, "Don’t touch him! With what we saw, are you even sure he’s human anymore?"
