I gasped sitting up with a start and the covers fell off , I noticed William did a gesture of looking to the side and I noticed sothing I haven’t quite seen before.
His ears turned red.
So I took the liberty of leveling my gaze and I yelped when I realized why. I quickly shrouded the covers around until I was sure I was completely concealed, I don’t know what to make of this at all, all I knew was I was shocked to the bones.
"D-Did we-"
"No!" his voice bood and I jumped, he faces now. "We did not... not without your consent"
But I was in far more shock before I could agree with him and he seed to sense that.
"I had to cool you down," he began. "You were overheating, and this seed like the only way"
I did recall feeling like I was on fire and then suddenly I felt like I was cooling down too, like I was close to ice. That was William? I blushed deeply.
"T-Thank you," I said, casting my gaze down for I couldn’t look at him right now, he was far too distracting and the current situation we were both in wasn’t exactly helping matters. We’re both naked, correction. He was only bare chest and I was the only one naked right now but that doesn’t an it wasn’t a shaless situation.
And for my brain to make matters worse I rembered our little section when we kissed, dear gods I feel like everything was suddenly getting hot.
"Ava"
I couldn’t look at him.
"You’re getting hot again I can feel it"
"W-What?" I darted my eyes at him in confusion but he was right my cheeks were hot. I hid my face with the blanket until it was just my eyes showing now.
"I-Is that why I passed out?"
He said nothing until. "No", just a simple answer, and I felt like there was sothing he didn’t want to bring up.
"How are you feeling?"

"A little bit better but..." I gulped. "I still feel a little hot" it was just a mumbled but I was certain he heard .
"I cannot hold you any longer," he says with clenched teeth. There was a pain in my chest but I didn’t dwell on it because he felt like he was refraining from doing so, so I beca blunt.
"Does holding disgust you?"
I noticed a pause from him but I continued nevertheless.
"I know you held all through the night to cool down and you probably didn’t want to do it but you had to. I’m sorry if I inconvenience you and about the kiss I know it was but a lesson and I-" A gasp escaped before I could say more for William had moved so swiftly.
He was kneeling in front of now and my heart beat throbbed so loudly I felt like it would give out any minute. He leaned to and pulled down the blanket so that my mouth was exposed. I thought he would kiss but he only stopped inches away from .
"You do not know my actions, Ava, don’t make them up in your head"
I looked to the side.
"B-But you said you cannot hold any longer" I mumbled hoping to pass it off as a whisper but William seems to always hear everything like he could hear beyond anything, maybe he can, he was a mystery.
"My reason for that is personal and it does not have anything to do with that"

He was truthful with her. Forget being a god... he was a man partly too, and she was his mate, she had no idea how much craving that holds. Mates were supposed to consummate when they find each other, to complete the bond or else it would be pure torture for them, their beast would grow more on edge than ever before until it was past the breaking point and the control is flicked away, but William has control... he always did, he always had a calm posture, to begin with.

And his Fairy kept misunderstanding his actions... Now she thinks he doesn’t want to hold her but that was the complete opposite but that doesn’t an he would show it... he wasn’t so fond of showing emotions, that was a hard part of him.
"W-William"
Her sweet voice called to him and he snapped back to reality. Her cheeks were so red now and in shock, this closeness was too much for her and he could sense she wasn’t clearly comfortable. So he moved.
One minute he was above her and the next standing back at the point he once was, he clearly knew he have given her yet another shock with his swift movent, he was certain she haven’t seen him move like that... but she was bound to see more things about him... that was her fate the mont he brought her into this world.
He grabbed his robe on his hanger.
"Have so rest and remain in bed, am I clear?"
She nods only still trying to recover.
Hells! Maybe he should be slower for her sake, it was too much to keep in one goal, maybe leaving her alone was the best thing right now, he would send for Elvenia or maybe Sophia to keep her calm, he knew she was more at ease with them.
He left without bringing his gaze back to her for if he dared to look back he wasn’t so sure he would have it in him to leave, he might just give in to her wishes and maybe more...

After everything, Elvenia ca after and led to the bath and brough my clothes and then I was led back to William’s chambers after breakfast, I noticed she kept stealing glances at once in a while and it was becoming uneasy, I was still trying to recover from everything that has happened, I do not need more to be added.
"I-Is there sothing you wish to ask ? I asked the mont she was heading to the door with the sheets she changed, she halted her steps but made no attempts to turn to but then she did almost like she weighed if she should or not until she ca to the conclusion.
"I hope everything was alright with you last night Young Miss"
Was she worried about ? That didn’t seem to be the case... it felt like she was trying to find out sothing and just like a cue to my thoughts she spoke,
"The master has never overused his cold aura before. As a demigod with two auras it’s risky to use one over the other, it causes unbalance"
I took in everything she said all at once, I opened my mouth to speak but I wasn’t so sure what I should say... I was thankful that William saved ... it appears he has been doing a lot of things for ever since he purchased from the grandmaster.
"The master is not just a mate to you... he’s also the keeper of this library, I’m certain you know the importance of that young miss... distractions should be avoided for balance" she said with a bow before turning to walk away and the door slamd shut behind her.
My lips pressed in a thin line, even though she didn’t say it directly I understood quite well what she ant to say...
