Chapter 75: Lone Fairy

I felt my hand on every plant and flower, loving the feel of them against my hand, they were just as soft as they looked, impossibly soft and I could also feel the glitters, it caused tingles to flow through my body.

I heard the birds now, loud and clear, chirping and I spotted one on top of the tree. It was so beautiful, an amazing pink color with a black beak. It sang to the rest of its friends who ca around, creating various colors of birds, so fascinating.

I squatted sniffing a flower, gods! They even sll wonderful too! I rose to my feet briefly twirling as the wind ca again, circling around

and I giggled, there were so many things to see, so many colorful birds I have never seen before, so many I thought it wasn’t possible to have such colors, it was like a whole new discovery for . And my heart ached for more, I wanted to savor and imprint every scene in my head.

I shouldn’t wander far...

I suddenly reminded myself and instantly I halted my steps, no matter how much I wanted to see more I shouldn’t get engrossed, rather than doing this alone it would be more fun if I explored with William, I shouldn’t have gotten greedy, and went on my own when he was asleep, I sighed, ntally calling myself stupid and I turned back to walk to our spot but I froze not recognizing the path.

What?

How?

I was certain I didn’t wander too far... I was even keeping track of myself so how? I rushed to the path I assud was the one I followed but they all looked foreign to , please don’t tell

I’m lost!

I looked around the unfamiliar place and a great pool of regret settled in my stomach, I’m definitely lost! What should I do? What happens when William wakes up and finds out I’m gone? A deep shiver ran through , I couldn’t even think of the possibility of that, I don’t know how he would act when he wakes up and finds

missing but I knew he would be angry.

My heartbeat quickened and I was suddenly scared not because William would get angry but because I don’t know what I would do now, and I was scared, scared of being alone, William made

promise I would be by his side at all tis and I let my selfishness get the better of , I broke his promise that was majorly what I was scared of.

I drew sharply on my breath as I looked around , my eyes scanning every corner in panic and I ntally told myself to calm down, to think of how to get myself out of this ss, I can’t just stand here and quiver without doing anything.

I have to find my way back!

☆☆☆

The bird’s chirps got louder and louder and I could slightly hear the streams running, I even passed so on several occasions, the water was all shiny too, and glittered under the sun, the sa sun that was slowly turning to mid day, okay that cannot be good... too it would be nightfall and I’m still lost as I ca here.

Great!

It seems the further I walked the more lost I got, how was that possible? I even went ahead by raising my gown so that it wouldn’t sweep the ground too much and slow

down. It was hard to find a path to walk, everywhere was basically covered in grass. My feet hurt too! Mostly because of the shoes I wore, I had a great urge to take them off.

Well after a whole minute of asking myself, take them off or not like a chant, I was already bending and taking them off. I moaned when my bare feet found the floor, this was definitely better!

I was finally able to increase my pace now, shoes at one hand and the other holding my skirt up, the path I took had so many rivers, flowing through like a path and so spilling from rocks, I could no longer hear the birds anymore but instead the sound of the river current, it was smooching and I had a certain urge to dip my sore feet into them but I was skeptical of the shiny water and-

All muscles in my body instantly ceased as a foreign sound caught my ears, a foreign sound that was enough to tell

I wasn’t alone. I gulped suddenly feeling eyes on , my heart slamming heavily and I just wanted nothing more but to make a run for it, but from what? It could just be the fish in the water and I was overly paranoid... well I would have told myself that if I was in a normal forest but this is not a normal forest but a mythical one.

I gulped again, summoning all the courage I needed to turn behind, I should at least know what I would run from rather than run like a mad woman, well I might just choose the latter, depending on what I see.

So I slowly, painfully so slowly turned my neck behind and I stilled like a cold bucket of water was dropped on .

Is that?

In the water were shiny blue eyes staring at , part of the body subrged under but from the looks of the dark hair with strands of blue floating on top, I knew it could be a female, a female, or a magical being.

Like it knew my thoughts she rose up until she was up to her torso, I blinked more like two tis to see the beauty before , her pale skin like the moonlight itself... covered in silver scales that concealed her breasts, most of her flat stomach all the way down, her arms too but it was lesser there, she looks so beautiful, enchanting.

Her blue eyes fixated on

with one of curiosity, she tilted her head to the side in question.

"What are you?" her angelic voice ca, enough to make one’s legs weak.
