Chapter 71: Outside The Walls Of The Holy Library {2}

A/N: Song For The Background ~ A Feeling I’ve Never Been by Kris Bowers

"Open your eyes, Ava"

I flinched at William’s lavish tone close to my ear, it caused goosebumps to break through my skin. I grip his hand tightly before flicking my eyes open. It was narrowed and then they turned wide as saucers.

The hefty wind ca in, flapping our clothes and my hat almost flew off but I held it still unable to take my eyes off the scenery that lay before .

"Is this real?" I asked breathlessly.

"Compared to the Mortal Realm I guess nature isn’t as refined as this"

I shook my head. "No... this is captivating"

It was your typical nature, no not typical because the view was beyond anything I have ever set my eyes on, the strong air, the flying flowers that followed it, the birds soaring in the colorful skies, and so chirping on the tall giant trees, the green plants so green that it was almost impossible, it had all the colors a forest should have but it was too colorful and well defined, the waterfalls I spot spilling between rocks, it looked like sothing straight out of a fairytale book, one they would color with imagination except this imagination was real before my very eyes.

I parted from William and squatted in front of a flower. "The plants and flowers, they are all shiny," I said scrutinizing them, because of the sunlight they sparkled under it and I thought only diamonds could do that but I was wrong.

"Yes... the moonlight brings out its true beauty"

I turned to William who had his eyes fixated on

from the very beginning. It almost seed like he was unable to take his eyes off , but he was standing before the very quintessence of beauty, and yet his eyes chose

instead. Am I making a weird face?

"Have you been here at night?"

"For a run" he shrugged.

A run?

The strong wind ca again. The flowery scent filled my nose, I gasped as it carried the petals around. It was so beautiful and it made

realize how strong the wind is. I held my hat in place so that it wouldn’t be carried too, I would hate to lose it.

But I was itching for sothing... I will not quite feel alive not until I do it, for this was a rare opportunity for

and it was all possible because of WIlliam.

I walked to him, taking off my hat. "William?"

"Ava?" he said with narrowed eyes.

And I broke into a wide smile and shoveled my hat against his chest which he grabbed, his looks surprised for a second.

And I ran twirling along with the wind, my laughs filling the air as I danced around and spreading my arms like I was a bird.

The wind, the scent, the feeling that bottled in my chest, I was pure bliss and I didn’t want it to end.

William have been here so many tis and yet the natural beauty of this place haven’t sunk in yet, but it wasn’t compared to nightfall when everything glimrs under the moonlight, it was a rare sight that one would kill just to see it, and be in its presence, he has painted the view nurous tis and although he was a master in his art he felt unable to recreate nature as beautiful as this, that was how breathtaking it was...

But here, right before his crystal green eyes... they trembled, he was frozen on the spot and his thoughts blank, his mind unable to process the marvel that graced his very eyes.

He knew the word ’beautiful’ so well he knew how to use it... but nothing... absolutely nothing can define or compare to this specular creature before him.

Her childlike laughter filled the air and as if the air knew it, it carried it without effort, her petite form bouncing as she twist and spread out her arms like she was a bird, ready to soar into the skies herself, even the skies would give way for her, she was too much of a phenonon.

With every spin her laughter grew louder and the most remarkable happened that left him completely breathless, her hair slipped from the pin as the heavy wind set her hair loose. And it was like ti stopped for William.. he wanted nothing more than to imprint this scene in his head, burn it even, until it was attached... it was too much of a sight for him to see at one go.

Her skin was highlighted by the sunlight and glimred under it, her lips wide with the widest smile he has ever gotten the chance to see, her gown waving around her and she looked just like a spinning bliss.

He wanted to savor the mont.

Let his eyes be the only thing that could see such a spectacular view.

He wanted to scare the birds away so that only he would gaze upon this treasure...

He even wanted to shoo the sun away from staring down at her...

He wanted to cut the wind that caressed her body...

’HE’ should be the only one to caress her, cherish her, and keep that smile plastered on her face for all eternity.

Her being was his, her soul was his, her voice was his, her smile was his, her body was his, her mind was his, her hair was his, her eyes ant for only his, not even nature should take her away or he would smite it... all his.

The greedier he has ever been... And when he wants sothing he takes it, holds it, possesses it, and adores it, he has a problem with letting go for he wasn’t taught by a parent who would tell him what he can and cannot have, he would be a brat and take it and hold it firm like his slow beating heart itself.

Everything about her was his to consu.
