Chapter 6: New Owner

I still found it harder to breathe, I was literally grasping for air because of the darkness in the atmosphere like the life force was being drawn from it. The impossible silence in this office was overbearing too, I clutched the jacket around

as I tried to breathe.

Like so thick fog enveloped the area and I knew all too well where this gloaming was coming from, I hesitantly looked to my side, The angelic yet dark angel seated majestically on his seat with his arms resting on the armchair.

My eyes widened in horror, I must be seeing things because it looked like so dark forms of flas were around him, more like emitting off him and hanging in the air.

’You’re seeing things’ I ntally told myself as I looked away but I was unable to deny that this was one of the things I could see and others can’t. This was far worse than anything I have ever felt and what made it worse, this very man owns

now.

"L-Let’s get to the details" The Grandmaster began opening a file, I could tell he was shuddering although he remained composed right now, I could see the sweat breaking from his forehead and his blue eyes pinned on my owner like if he looks away he would get his head taken off, I don’t bla him though because it felt like my owner would actually do it.

"A-Ava, age 21, no family of any sort so her attachnt to this world is none, there won’t be a problem"

"Education?" at his voice I shivered again, the very tone of his luscious voice was affecting

and I had no idea why.

"W-Well her caretaker did say she was given so sort of education when she was in the orphanage, she can read and write although I don’t know how far" he answered in a shaky tone. "That is all" he stamped the file and shifted it to my owner.

"I require your signature and then the deal is set. She belongs to you until you choose otherwise, fairly if you don’t have any use of her anymore you can bring her back, and we would give you a 30% refund"

"You’re highly mistaken, Grandmaster" he reached for the small pocket on his suit and brought out a black pen with a golden tip.

"Hmm?"

"I have no intention of discarding a property" he signed the space and saw his golden signature on the white paper and my gaze trembled. Did he just call him a property? I was not an object! I chewed the inside of my mouth.

The Grandmaster cleared his throat. "Surely when you have made use of her there will be no further need for her" he looked over to

and I paled under his blue orbs because the looks he gave

now were lustful. "Trust

I have better use for broken objects, mostly broken fairy, she will work better in my establishnt" his hand reached for

and I clutched the jacket tightly. "What do you say fox-"

My eyes broadened because suddenly before them were splash droplets of blood. My brain was still processing where it ca from... but I could already see it, his wrist was slit, with his hand dropping on the table like it was cut off by so knife but I saw none.

What filled my ears next were his screams of pain, he clenched his blooding wrist tightly and the table as well as his clothes was a pool of blood.

I drew back in horror, as all the warning signs exploded in my head and the horrifying scene that lay before

was too much.

I shakily turned my gaze to the now standing man who was my owner, his gloves were off, and I could clearly see his sharp silver nails coated in blood, all the more proof that he used them to create such a scene.

"I believe my warning has been set in motion" his tone was just as lifeless and the Grandmaster’s screams ca again.

"MY HAND!" he roared with red eyes.

I watched paled in fear and horror as my owner wiped his bloody hand with a white handkerchief and dumped it on the floor. His nails did the impossible because they went in normal size and then he wore his glove back.

f??eewe??n??ve??

"Never utter such words to my face again" he tilts his head to the side. "Or it would be your eyes next"

It was a ruckus now and before I knew it the Grandmaster was on his knees before him bowing and he shook in both fear and pain.

"F-Forgive , m-my lord, I-I stepped out of line!" he slamd his forehead to the floor. "Have m-rcy!"

It was chilly silence now and I could already see his need to rip this man’s head off but I pondered why he chose negligence.

I panicked when he walked toward

in haunting footsteps, I drew back until my back found the wall, I was mortified by the fact he just cut off a man’s hand from his re words and now he was coming for , the dark flas erupted off him made my head spin, I have never felt so much fear and yet chaos from a person.

Just who exactly have I been sold to?
