William murmured words to the long scroll and quill and it listens, writing down every catalog of new books that needed to be recorded. William’s eyes scanned the entire books, recently out new, before grabbing one and opening it, scanning through the contents and their contributions to the Realms.
"We’re done for today," he says to the scrolls, and with a wave... it is wrapped back into a folded scroll and floated away towards William’s table in his office.
William continued his scan through the books, flipping the pages and dropping them back to the shelves. But the mont he grabbed one of the books he would review he suddenly felt a warm sensation on his finger. Inquisitive of the sudden action he descended his crystal green eyes to his finger and where an amber ring in the form of gold materialized there. Perplexed and slightly appalled he raised his finger and observed it closely, the otherworldly piece of ring glowing.
Why was a ring on his finger?
He never wore a ring before so how co?
A sharp ringing ca to William’s ears and he was forced to cover it, the sound so fierce and almost exploded his eardrums. He squeezed his eyes shut and grabbed onto the shelf for support, his teeth clenched as he tried to bear this sudden pain but it was like the ringing shifted to his head, a sharp migraine followed.
William growled, now holding his head in pure pain, a pain unlike anything he has ever felt, and for a minute William truly believed his brain would explode from the re fraction of it, a splitting sensation like sparks and waves.
But not until images erged in his head, it was fast speeding and he couldn’t keep up with it, there were nurous and dictating things he had never seen before. What he clearly observed was a scene in what looked like the forest, and in his peripheral vision, he was walking towards a girl standing with back-length amber hair, dressed in a silver velvet slender gown. And then she turns to him, in a heartbeat, and he locks gaze with vermillion eyes.
William gasped, flashing his eyes open, a feeling finding its way to his hallowed chest, where his frozen heart lies, and it was as if from that re image a fracture of the ice was lted.
’Who are you?’
A voice ca into his head and he could recognize it, because it was his very own voice.
’?’
Another ca and it seed to be a girl.
’I-I’m no one!’
A cold liquid stread down William’s nose and he was forced to wipe it with his thumb and bring it to his gaze. His blood.
"Aftereffect" he mumbles. An effect that happens to a body, an effect that clearly ans a spell without his knowledge was cast.
"Severus!" he called, wasting no ti to walk back to his desk, his breathing rapid and his head hitting several rounds of migraine but he chose to ignore them.
"Master" Severus ca forth in a worried tone but he froze with widened eyes when he saw the action that lay before him, the master bleeding from the nose using the back of his hand to wipe it off. His master has never bled.
"B-Blood" he pointed.
"It is an aftereffect, an effect to the body, a spell is in action, one without my knowledge" William rumbled on.
"A spell?"
"I don’t know what spell but I have a reason to believe this is triggering it," William said, raising his finger so that he would see the strange ring that suddenly appeared.
"A ring?" Severus has never been more confused. "A ring to what?"
"I don’t know... but there are images clouding my head, I think..." William’s breath hitched, and he groaned once again, resting his hands on the table. And more blood dripped from his nose on the papers lying around on the table.
"M-Master!" Severus panicked.
"I think a part of my mory is missing" William began in a hitching breath, the pain was too unbearable, he felt it in his head and his heart.
Severus’ eyes widened in shock. "T-Then we must find a spell that can break it" he offers and at the sa ti pondering why his master mories were missing.
William shook his head. "For so reason, I don’t think there is a solution to that here,"
Severus opened his mouth but nothing ca forth. Could it be the master has searched for a way to restore lost mories before? This was truly confusing.
"There is only one way to this" William interjected and Severus’ eyes darted to him.
"I need to find a way to summon Basker’s spirit"

My heart was pulsating so fast, and my breath was shuddering but I tried to keep calm as much as I could, keeping my stern eyes on Alruna, one of the elder elves as she checked my pulse, holding my wrist firmly.
From her tight grip, I wanted so badly to take my hand away but I couldn’t. She closed her eyes murmuring sothing to herself in elven language before flashing her violet eyes to
and I froze.
Her face scrunching up in disgust "His seed is indeed within you"
I’m pregnant with William’s child!
I do not know if I should jump in joy and scream so that the whole kingdom will hear , but I was just as confused and shocked and it overca every part of .
"H-How is it possible?" I asked knowing she would have the answers I seek, she let
go and I rubbed my wrist.
I knew for a fact that Elven babies are conceived the sa way as humans, we carry our child for 9 months, and there was not much difference. But in my case, it was highly impossible, the last ti William and I were intimate was 2 years ago before I vanished away from the Holy Library, and there was no possible way I would have had his seed within
for 2 years without any developnt.
But right now, as I rub my tummy gently with my hands, I think otherwise.
A child is indeed growing within
