Chapter 139: Aveline And Aldon {3}

Aveline and Aldon grow up together, hand in hand and inseparable. Loved by all their kind and they knew both of them were great and born for each other.

"Why do you call

my star?" Aveline asked, watching Aldon with a smile on his lips. Unfortunately, Aveline wasn’t born with her mories, it must have been an aftereffect of their rebirth but Aldon didn’t think much of it for he was more than glad to tell her everything about their ti in the Isle of Pathways, and everything they both possess and how their body and soul were rge for eternity.

For there is no Light without Darkness, and there is no Darkness without Light.

"Because my star, You are the only wonder I want to gaze upon forever" he gently turned her to the view of the night skies and hugged her from behind. "You know back in the Isle of Pathways we would always watch the skies and the stars were one of my favorites, but out of the millions of them all I choose you and only you, and I do so forever, even if we pass on, we’re destined to be reborn again and et each other, our love is eternal"

"Is this because of the promise we made?"

"Yes"

"But after our purpose and our energies were depleted we beca lost to ti, but we were reborn as yin and yang, as Aveline and Aldon"

Aldon turned Aveline to face him and cupped her cheeks. "We both knew even though we will one day vanish, we would still be reborn. Our love and connection were too great,"

"If we don’t remain together, the Realms will fall. We’re the balance," she said the words he has always told her.

"Exactly," he said with a smile on his lips. "Our fates are tied, that is the promise we made to each other and that is our fate. You want that don’t you?" he searched her eyes and she nodded.

He smiled and then leaned on for a kiss.

You’re my destiny as much as I’m your destiny, nothing can tear us apart.

I gasped out of the water, trying to catch my breath.

"Breath Aveline," Aldon said to

as he held

in his arms, wrapping his arms around

in a tight hold.

"Now you know... just how much fated we are, now you know why you cannot be tied to that world or William"

And then I broke into tears.

"And then I suddenly lost you, I searched for you for centuries but I couldn’t" he sobbed and buried his face in my neck. "I was lost without you Aveline... I was broken. Until that night I found you staring at that tree, I knew I had found you. I knew you would co back to

because our connection awaken" he pulled away and cupped my cheeks. "I’m the only man for you, that is our promise and our fate, nothing will ever change it because we didn’t want that, that is why we made that promise thousands of years ago. Because of your disappearance, the Elven woods were suddenly wittering away and hundreds of our tribes died too"

I suddenly rember that particular lifeless place I saw when the pixie was trying to lead

away from the river flow. I gulped as the realization struck .

"Those voices singing and calling you were our kind lost, they were calling for you"

My lips quivered at his words.

"I-I’m sorry I didn’t know why I disappeared, I-"

"It’s okay, I forgive you, Aveline, always" he smiled. "Now you are with "

I felt a tug in my heart. "William"

"Do you still not understand? No matter how you try to be with him you cannot, your body will eventually be-"

"B-But I’m married to him and-"

He shook his head. "I never cared about that, because you will always be mine, Aveline, I do not care if you have given yourself to him. If we do not be together, realms will fall"

A tear slid down my cheeks.

"Even if you go back to him, you cannot give him what he wants" he leaned to

until our faces were inches apart. "A family"

William scattered the books and scrolls on the table and they all dropped to the ground.

"Master" Severus said with worried eyes.

"What is good about being the arbiter of Knowledge when there is not a single thing I can do to stop what is happening to my wife!" as his voice bood the library shooked along with it.

"M-Master c-calm-"

"What is my purpose here if I cannot solve anything?!"

The shelves cracked and Severus swore that so of it might have collapsed in the distance and that it would not end well.

"Master, please calm down, I understand your pain. I’m worried about My lady too, all of us are, she hasn’t woken up for days and her body is..." he couldn’t even finish his words as his chest squeezed in pain.

William said nothing as he stord out of the library and more cracks happened to the shelves and more collapsed. He didn’t have ti for this... the library was not giving him any answers to him, rather than spend his ti here, he wants to be by Ava’s side.

The doors spread open and William stepped into the room with a heavy heart but he automatically froze when he set his eyes on a standing Ava.

"A-Ava," he says in a shaky tone with wide eyes. She has been in bed for days, unmoving, with so parts of her body getting invisible and now she stands on her own two feet but she was glowing and she looked different.

It wasn’t her usual brown hair but now amber and overly long, her eyes were no longer his favorite chocolate color but now bright vermilion.

She smiled at him and William’s heart started beating once again, right after a tear slid down his cheek.
