"Where are you going?" Nicklaus asked with a nudge of his head which only made him more dashing in that action. I cleared my throat, hoping to clear my head of the lustful thoughts I was having right now.

"To et Alaric, for my training," I said, folding my arms.

"Training?" It was Bartholow that spoke this ti with puzzled expressions. "Whatever does the Empress need to train for?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Well since I’m so target for so ominous presence I need to know how to defend myself"

Bartholow and the rest of the council were inford of the truth from 2 thousand years ago, just a small part of it, Nicklaus wants to keep it in a small group so that they can investigate it thoroughly.

"You will do no such thing" Nicklaus’ strong voice pinned down and I could only grow more frustrated, I wasn’t gonna allow him denial this, I WILL co through with this, which I promised myself I would, I don’t want him taking all the load, I have to stand for myself.

I was about to open my mouth to speak but he caught off too fast with that husky voice of his.

"I... will train you"

My eyes widened at his words, and my lips apart. "What?"

It just took two steps from him to close the space between us, and I was forced to lift my face to et his intense gaze on .

"My dearest brother is currently busy, I will supervise your training"

I gulped. "Don’t you have work, husband?"

"Bartholow and the officials will handle it" he states. "Husband... won’t exactly be the word you will be using" he added, gripping my waist and causing my body to brush against his rocky body, I resisted the urge to moan because of the company we still had. "Master is what you say" he leaned, brushing his nose against mine.

I closed my eyes savoring the feel of his skin touching mine, it ALWAYS felt like the first ti between us, I could never get tired of it.

"Ahem!" A sound ca from behind and I knew it was none other than Bartholow, we still had company and Nicklaus didn’t seem to faze from it.

"Leave us" Nicklaus ordered and then I heard retreating footsteps and even behind , that must be Mint.

"So what shall our first lesson be? I’m more than delighted to teach you how to weaponize your magic" he mused.

"I don’t want you to teach " I just bluntly spoke and Nicklaus frowned and puzzled over his features.

Well, I didn’t an to say that out loud, I was rely thinking it. I knew how much distraction Nicklaus can cause if we’re in one place, the only reason I asked Alaric and not him in the first place even though he disagree was that I knew Alaric will be formal with in practicing, it was a way of being serious with myself and not being distracted with everything, but with Nicklaus, I don’t think I can.

"You don’t want ?", a look of hurt in his drizzling green orbs I always love to stare at.

"N-No" I stamred out before he got the wrong idea. "You never agreed to this before so why now and why be my..." I paused before gulping. "Master" I whispered and I felt his body tense when I called him that na and his hand on my waist only just tightened. I would lie if I said I didn’t feel my core ache at the re thought of calling him Master. Do you see what I’m talking about? DISTRACTION!

"I thought of it... and I ca to an understanding and besides there isn’t a greater Master than to teach you"

He was right though, he IS a mastery of magic than none other but I knew where I was coming from.

"You’re my husband"

"So?"

I placed a palm on his chest creating a space between us. "Don’t so ’’... you’re a like a walking set of temptation that I can’t resist sinning with"

"You put it like we’re doing a sin when you’re my wife" he seethed out, not angry but stating a point.

"Yes, when you’re my master... I will be against the ground with you on top in a blink" I ca out strong to state my point more clearly, and gods the embarrassnt went all the way to my overly flushed cheeks. I was still shy whenever it ca to this godly man before .

He made a hmm sound, I didn’t know if it was of understanding or not.

"Be in my study in one hour" he states and it was like a blink of an eye as he walks past .

"What?" I let out breathless, what happened? Did he just walk away and wait... his study? That was in another dinsion, how am I supposed to... I whirled.

"Nicklaus!"

He was already gone.

"Oh..." Celeste intoned. "He did that?"

"Yes," I said angrily, folding my arms.

She snorted a laugh. "Did you... did you really tell him he will be distracting as a master?" she said between laughs, holding her stomach.

"Yes!" I state. "It’s the truth Celeste, gods will you stop laughing, this is not funny!"

"I’m sorry it’s just..." she took one look at before breaking into another peal of laughter.

"Celeste!"

"Okay..." she zipped her mouth but she still seed amused.

"So tell how on earth can I get to his study in another dinsion, in one hour?!"

"Well none of us knows, including Alaric, we don’t have the portal link to his study to open one. I think this is the first lesson from him"

I growled, folding my arms and resting on the chair more.

"Weren’t you the one who said he was distracting and now you are frustrated because he’s finally being strict with you?" she broke into another pearl of laughter and I was forced to roll my eyes.

Alaric walked in that very mont with an apple at hand. "Who knew an apple can be so juicy?" he said, chewing on it and savoring the flavor, closing his eyes and then he paused when he saw a laughing Celeste.

"What got my sister overly amused? It’s quite rare"

"Alaric help " I rushed to his side holding his hand.

"I need to find a way to Nicklaus’ Study, I know you don’t have a link but do you have a way?"

His features grew puzzled. "Why would you want to- Oh" his lips ford. "He threw you ’I will be your master’ stuff did he?"

"Yes," I sighed.

He flicked my forehead with his finger.

"Ouch!"

"First day as Nicklaus’ student can be tough so I will give you a hint" he states. "No one can get to his study but you can"

I blinked puzzled.

Celeste seed to finally co off her laughter. "Yes sorry that was what I wanted to say too but it was just so funny" she giggled and I shot her a look not to try even a sound of a laugh. And she nods.

"You’re his mate"

"What dearest sister said... you don’t need a link, you’re already connected to him" he winked and I blushed.

"So... I just desire for a portal and it opens up?"

"Not exactly desire, you will it like you want an image to co true, it’s kind of like how you do magic but you’re not your past self so that qualities are gone"

"It’s like tutoring a child how to walk now for you" Celeste intoned.

They were right! I only have the fox shifting abilities but none of my past magic, this was basically from scratch for . I sighed deeply.

"You wanted to learn so," Alaric said tilting his head to the side, seeming amused. He really does resemble Nicklaus in that manner, but his shoulder-length with small curls packed backward defect the resemblance he had to Nicklaus.

"Yes... and learn I will," I said in a strong voice. "Even though my husband is my master"

"Not my fault he threatens not to teach you"

My eyes went wide. "And he said YOU had work to do"

He leaned toward . "Mates can be over-possessive, you should know that now"

I sighed once again, ’sighing’ was becoming a regular thing for now.

"So?" He raised an eyebrow as if urging .

"Give it a try dearest" Celeste intoned. "Your one hour is almost up"

I took a step forward stretching my hand forward and closing my eyes. I should think of it, feel it, I should also rember the connection I had with Nicklaus to sense his study.

I took a deep breath. "Imagine it" I whispered to myself, cracking my head. I felt absolutely nothing and it was egging on.

I felt Alaric’s hand on my shoulder. "Don’t give up yet, feel it from deep inside you" his voice guided . "Sothing gleaming and sothing certain"
