"Lady Yelena, how did you deal with the intruders, we wanna know, did you chase them away? Fight them off with your Fox powers" Gideon said, throwing punches in the air.

"One at a ti Gideon, let her speak first," Ava said with paws on her waist.

"Tell us Yelena how did you get them out?" Puma asked, overly curious.

"Lady Yelena, tell us"

"Lady Yelena?"

Yelena was lost in her head, her eyes looking into the distance.

"Is she okay?" Ava whispered to the two.

"She looks lost in her head"

"Lost in her head, why?!"

"I don’t know... but she has been like that since yesterday"

"Okay... will call her na together"

They nodded in agreent.

"1... 2... 3"

"LADY YELENA!"

"What?!" she yelled, startled.

"Yeah, I told you... lost in her head" Puma said with a sigh.

"Forgive us for starling you like that... but we’ve been calling you for ages," Ava says.

"What she said," Gideon intoned.

"Is there sothing bothering you? Or sothing we should know? Does it have to do with the vampire intruders?"

Yelena looked away, biting her bottom lips, they were right she has been spacing out, ever since she t HIM. She frowned just by the re thought of it, she couldn’t stop thinking about their encounter and it annoyed her that she kept thinking about it, she hated it.

’Do not worry I do not intend to claim you or anything even though how daring I feel to do so right now... because you’re not what I desire’

His re words still angered her, ugh! How dare he!

Puma sighs as well as Gideon, who slamd his paws on his face.

"And she’s doing it again"

"Ugh! Who does he think he is?" she growled. "Damn Vampire, I wish I never see him again!", the golden door spread open as she walked into the throne room, she composed herself and smiled, she didn’t want her mother to catch any whim of it or she would bounce on her with questions, she knew her mother never liked the vampire race, to begin with.

"Mother"

"Oh, my child... there you’re, I thought you won’t visit" she says stretching her hands out for her to take and Yelena gladly did and sat just below the throne and place her head on her lap, a gesture she had always done ever since she was little and her mother always welcod it with a pat on her head.

"Of course, I will always visit mother, the Spirit Forest may be my ho but I will always co ho to you," she said, raising her gaze to et hers, a loving smile crossing her mother’s lips.

She placed a kiss on her forehead. "Tell if there’s anything you need okay"

She nods.

"What’s wrong, child? You look down"

Hand it to her mother to sense everything.

"I-I’m fine Mother caring for a lot of animals can be tiring," she says, hoping to divert the main topic.

"Hmm I see... well don’t let them misbehave and keep them on track, just give a ruse about sending them to the Mortal Realm to beco ordinary animals, trust it works"

She giggled. "I know, it works, their hearts almost gave out when I said it"

"Oh did they"

They both barked laughter, the sounds of it filling the throne room.

Yelena sighed deeply, she was already back in the Spirit Forest, and ti with her mother was exactly what she needed. She felt better after seeing her, spending ti with her made her mind free, and had fewer thoughts about that nasty vampire.

"Nasty Vampire..." she growled, just the re thought of him made her skin crawl. "I hope I never see you again, even if the world is ending"

"Well I’m offended"

At the deep luxurious she turned with a start, seeing the vampire god leaning his back against the tree, arms crossed against his chest, staring at her with a wicked smirk on his lips.

"Y-You!" she pointed an accusing finger. "W-What’re you doing here?! And how on earth did you pass through the barrier!"

"I created that barrier, magic of my making cannot keep away," he said in amusent.

Yelena gulped but she stood her ground. "Well then you take your freaking barrier with you as you leave, I do not care if I take a 100 years to make another"

He raised an eyebrow.

"Now what is the great vampire god, the very bringer of darkness doing here?"

An amusent circled in his green eyes, why does it seem like he was enjoying everything, Ugh! It was annoying.

"Surely you did not co here to see "

"And if I did"

Her mouth opened but words didn’t co off, she cleared her throat, she didn’t want him to know her presence affected him so. But Nicklaus could sense it all, he didn’t know why he ca here to begin it, but he knew he couldn’t so much as sleep, like a thread to a needle he was drawn to her in ways he could not understand, he didn’t know if he should welco it or not and his beast only made it more difficult before he knew it he found himself here.

Yelena’s body itches badly, she didn’t know why but she knew her insides were screaming at him to go to him, she wanted to be close to his body again, her body itches for it and her Fox kept purring like a damn lovesick animal, gods, this was getting worse, why did he co!

"W-Well I don’t believe you!" she snapped at him, she wanted to erase this feeling, run away from it and silence it. This god was bad news, there was no possible way he could be her mate, heaven must have made so kind of mistake. "Leave!"

"Do you want to?"

She opened her mouth to speak but he was suddenly before her with his inhuman strength and in instinct, she backed away but her back found the tree branch instead. She was caged now, with this godly vampire.

"Tell your na?"
