"Are you alright Yelena, you look pale" Celeste said worriedly as she held onto .
"I-I’m fine," I said to her and all the sa trying to convince myself I was, I just heard a piece of disturbing news, it may have been the natural state for them but it wasn’t for , how can this be? My eyes fell on the Birth Tree, Vampire CANNOT procreate.
"It’s a lot to take in I know... but it has always been this way," she said once again, I felt she was trying to convince that there was no other way to think about it.
I gulped, my past self goddess Yelena... She and Nicklaus knew this and they ca to terms with it? No, it has always been that way between gods and goddesses but I... my eyes trembled, I don’t think I can accept this.
"Shall we leave? I’m dizzy" I said faintly.
"Okay" she answered before opening a portal, I took a prolonged look at the tree before stepping into the portal. Like a snap, we were back in the corridor.
"Do not let such bother you, Yelena... Nicklaus and you have love, you have always had love from the beginning" she took my hand, giving a warm smile.
But was that enough? I bit my lip.
"Let’s go over the rest of the things or do you need to rest? You said you were dizzy before"
"N-No I’m fine" I lied. "Let’s see through other things, we only have today right" I forced a smile.

The rest of the day went by about learning about the Realm, there wasn’t much to it, Celeste told as Empress I would be in charge of the Inner court belonging to the royal ladies and attending to such things about their well being like a mother, but was I really cut out for that? I was Mortal and they were goddesses, will they really listen to ? Celeste has promised to be with all the way.
I also learned that I would attend throne etings with Nicklaus and tomorrow was the first day, the first day I would appear as their Empress and I was really nervous and more my mind kept drifting to the Birth Tree and the realization that kept getting to , Nicklaus and I will never have children I would never carry his babies.
I placed my hand on my flat stomach at that thought. It has always been my dream to have children, and now I cannot. If I haven’t been Mortal then would this desire still be with ? I knew for a fact if I was a goddess I wouldn’t be bothered by it in the slightest because it has always been that way. But I was reborn as Mortal, grew up as Mortal, and taught as a Mortal, I craved to have children. Seems like all that now will be all but a dream.
"Are you alright Empress, sothing seems to be bothering you?" Olivia asked. I was done with Celeste, I couldn’t tell if it was night or not for I have not seen any windows yet I figured they barely had one but the air was always so fresh and cold? And the walls too.
"I’m fine... Tell Olivia, have you spoken to Mint?" I asked in the hope to divert the topic and it worked because she blushed at the ntion of his na.
"He’s very sweet"
"And?" I urged smirking.
"W-Well" she blushed hardly this ti pulling so strands of her brown hair behind her hair. "We are still getting to know each other although he seems sad sotis when he speaks to ... it’s really a strange thing that there was soone like in the Mortal Realm"
"Yes, it is," I said, puzzled.
"I was told when I was born, the shell I ca from was silver"
I ca to a halt. "Silver?"
"Yes like a goddess wished for to be born"
My eyes went wide, could it be the wish I made? But in my ti that happened like months ago, she should still be a baby at that. And then the realization struck , ti must run differently here in the Vampire Realm, I may have wished that in months but it could have been years here, this really was Olivia.
I smiled. "Yes I believe so too "
She smiled. My eyes fell on a window. "A window?" I walked towards it.
"Yes we have that but not much, the Vampire Realm weather is a bit intense"
"Snow," I said softly, seeing puddles of it everywhere. It was snowing right now, a heavy one like a storm.
"It never stops snowing and if it does, the snow doesn’t go away, the Vampire Realm is the coldest"
"Really?"
"You look excited by it Empress"
"Of course I do, I have always loved the snow seasons. They are one of my favorites but doesn’t the weather bother the Vampires?"
"It does not for we’re used to it, it’s the Realm natural weather"
After so chats with Olivia, I arrived at the chamber. "Good night Empress, sleep tight tomorrow is a big day for you"
"Yes, it is," I said, a bit nervous.
"You look nervous"
"Yes, I’m... I have only known about being a wife, I’m not too sure I’m the best candidate for Empress or being a leader to ladies who I’m so different from..." I sighed heavily.
"I think you will make a great Empress"
I blushed at her words. "T-Thank you Olivia", her words gave the courage I just hope it lasts long enough till tomorrow.
"The bath is already ready for you... if you want us to assist you then..."
"No no no, it’s late, you should retire, do not worry I’m used to the bath myself"
"Whatever pleases you, Empress," she said with a bow before retreating with the other maids.
I sighed heavily before walking into the chambers, the doors slamming shut behind , the hall of a room was empty, was Nicklaus still working? No... I felt him, he was here but not in the bedroom.
I walked to a door my soul directed to, it spread open as I took a turn on the corridor and I ca in view of an office, stashes of papers lying around, scrolls, lots of it and then I saw Nicklaus pacing the room reading a scroll, so of the papers floated around him.
He looked really busy, he sat on his chair still engrossed and then his eyes t mine, I was lost in those green eyes and he looked handso right now because he was still dressed in his royal attire, I loved how his hair was packed and so let it fall down.
"My love" he mused, he placed the scroll down and the paper t the floor, he didn’t put any focus on it as his entire focus was on now, it made my heart slam loud beats.
"Co here," he said huskily like I was magnetized by his words. I sauntered towards him turning the table to him, I instinctively sat on his lap facing him.
"You’re busy"
"Yes... not being here for thousands of years there is much work to do," he said, holding onto my waist firmly.
"How was your day?"
"Fine... learned a lot of things about vampires today..." I said my mind was drifting back to the tree but I didn’t show it.
He made a hmm sound amused, my hands played with his hair behind.
"I missed you," I said softly... I really did, I couldn’t stop thinking of him all day even though my mind was clouded.
"I missed you too," he said, kissing my cheek tenderly and then trying it on my neck. I moaned, holding onto his shoulder firmly.
"Forgive for leaving you in bed..."
I made a hmm sound lost in his kisses, my head drew backward, his kisses were now centered at my top cleavage and then he bit down hard on it, not enough to break my skin.
"That will leave a mark!"
He smirks. "I would love to see you covered in my mark. ’’ he winked before biting down again, I yelped.
"S-Shouldn’t you go back to the paperwork?" I said but I didn’t think he should... I wanted him right now.
"Damn them" his kisses trailed back to my neck and then I heard ripping sounds, he tore the front of my gown and the closet too, I was beginning to think he had a habit of always ripping my clothes, it was wild of him but I loved it. Nicklaus was both gentle and aggressive to , I haven’t still weighed the two effects yet which was higher.
My mind went blank as his mouth took my breast, his other hand squeezing one, I moaned as he assaulted endlessly with his sucks and kisses, I just held unto him tightly as he did his bidding, my hands trailed down to his neck, chest and then to his pants reaching for the zipper.
"Easy wildfire" he mused.
But I wasn’t so sure I was in the mood to listen.
