"What do you an there’s sothing wrong with ," I said, tensing a little, okay now I was worried.
"I feel a shift I can’t explain it"
"A shift?!" Nicklaus demands I could feel his body against mine tensing too.

"But I don’t understand" I began.
"I don’t understand the shift or why it happened" she felt my pulse once again. "It may be an aftereffect from the Waterfall of Truth... it just... just feel like your magic is divided inside you causing a shift, I don’t know how to explain it but like sothing is growing inside you"
My eyes went wide to a point I wasn’t sure my socket could hold it, my body was still and my heart slamd a loud heartbeat.
"Growing inside her? What do you an?" Nicklaus asked.
"The shift, her power is shifted and divided inside her, its faint but I think it’s growing"
My lips quivered. "This c-can’t be happening," I said, still in shock and their attention drifted to .
"Yelena," Celeste said worriedly.
I faced Nicklaus, my gaze trembled, his looks held confusion and also begged
to say sothing and I did.
"I-I-I think I’m with child"
"What?!" Celeste gasped. "You an like what you told ? about an egg growing inside of you?"
I faced Celeste, I only nodded because I couldn’t find my own voice anymore.
"But that’s not..." her eyes trailed to Nicklaus. "Possible" she whispered.
I didn’t understand it myself, I said the first thing that crossed my mind when she said sothing was growing within , what could it be if not that? I leisurely placed my hand on her flat stomach, they trembled, and my eyes trembled as well, several thoughts swirling in my head but one was more profound, could it be?
I faced Nicklaus who remained still like a statue, his expression unreadable, I couldn’t tell if he was shocked or just overwheld but I could feel his eyes heavy, if only I knew what he was thinking because I really needed him to talk to
right now more than ever.
The doors barge open once again, this ti it was Alaric who walked in. "I heard you fainted during training, are you alright?" he asked worriedly.
I couldn’t find my voice to speak, I just stared at him with hands still on my stomach, his eyes narrowed in question, he must have felt how tensed everyone was, his gaze moved to my stomach and he grew more puzzled.
"Yelena thinks she’s with child" Celeste finally broke the intense silence.
"What?!"
"I’m not sure" I said, his gaze on . "But I think I am"
"Wait I’m confused because what you speak of cannot happen, it’s not possible Lena, are you sure?"
"I said I’m not!" I snapped, but my voice was shaky.
"I felt a shift in her magic divided within her and growing," Celeste said.
"I’m just as confused okay, so please Nicklaus speak to ," I said on the verge of tears, I was just so confused and.... scared. The tears rolled down my cheeks and I felt his hand on my waist.
"We should leave," Celeste said, walking to Alaric. "I will find a healer, maybe a non-magical one, maybe then we can understand"
I stroked a nod and I watched as they exited the room and then I broke into tears, I promised myself I wouldn’t cry again after the waterfall to be strong but I just couldn’t help it, I don’t know why but I just felt so emotional and it weighs heavy on . I felt a flush of relief when Nicklaus engulfed
in a tight hug, I wrapped my arms around him tight and buried my face in his chest, this was just the comfort I needed, I felt an unusual relief flushed through , almost as if my body accepted him, I couldn’t explain it but this was different from before.
