Chapter 188: The Story Of Fire And Ice {9}

"Fear not magical creatures... your Guardian is only just mated"

"WHAT?!" They roared.

’Did he just say that out loud?’ Yelena thought panicking, she knew now Nicklaus was a very blunt man. Oh no! She didn’t wanna tell them like this... look at how stunned they are now, gods Nicklaus!

"M-Mate?!" Ava panicked, placing her paw on her cheeks and drawing on it like she was losing it.

"Isn’t that the v-v-vampire god?!" Puma said shaking, their Guardian was mated to MAGNUS!!!

Yelena pulled away from Nicklaus, shooting him a look before facing the gang. "Guys relax I can ex-"

"We won’t let you take her!" Gideon said, stepping forward.

"Gideon what do you think you’re doing!" Ava hissed at him.

"Don’t good anything stupid!" Puma scolded him.

"You guys know what this ans right he’s gonna take her away from us" he snapped at them and they froze at his words knowing he spoke the truth.

"Yes, I intend to do that" Nicklaus said in amusent, his intense gaze on the small Fox.

"Nicklaus!"

Nicklaus walked to the Gideon who subconsciously backed away, he squats before him and Gideon held up his paws in a fist and the go.

"So brave Fox you’re" he comnted.

"Nicklaus please don’t scare him away," Yelena said.

"Do not worry love, I don’t intend to do that... but they should co to that understanding that one day you would leave, you can’t be here for them forever" he said firmly.

At his words, Gideon lowered his fist and his ears dropped.

"I haven’t said I was leaving with you," Yelena said, crossing her arms over her chest, the next Nicklaus was up facing her.

"What?!"

"I said I haven’t agreed to leave with you yet" she shrugged before walking towards him but she passed him leading the gang away.

"Co on guys"

Nicklaus scoffed at her actions, but he seed intrigued, how he loves a challenge, and Yelena was just that fire his ice was willing to et.

"Is it true Yelena? That you’re mated to Magnus, the vampire god!" Ava said, still finding it hard to believe. The news still made her unsettled because she knew of Magnus’s nature.

She took a deep breath. "Yes Ava it’s all true"

"This is crazy, is mother goddess aware you’re mated to him?" Gideon asked, wondering how she took it.

"It all happened so fast" she confessed, relieving their sessions, it did happen fast.

"Wait, Mother goddess doesn’t know?!" Puma said with wide eyes.

"Does he even know who your mother is?" Gideon intoned.

Yelena bit her bottom lip.

They gasped coming to realization. "Lady Yelena you know how your mother goddess feels about the vampires, she dislikes them"

"I know I know" she sighed deeply. "I will..." she sighed once again. "I will tell her in due ti, him too I just need ti"

"Will you really leave when it’s ti?" Gideon asked sadly, she squatted to him patting his head and he leaned in her touch, Yelena was always gentle and caring to them, it would be so sad if she left them, it won’t be the sa without her.

"I don’t know yet... it’s all too fast, there are things..." she paused. "We might be mated but I feel I should get to know him better, it all just seems just fast. He wants to grasp

away to his Realm and make

his Empress" she rolled her eyes knowing it was not gonna be that simple.

"We knew a day like this would co, a day when you would find your mate" Ava said with a smile against her lips.

"Yes, but we never thought it would be Magnus!" Puma said.

"He’s not as dangerous as you guys think" she reasoned.

"Have you seen his eyes?" Gideon said with a shiver rubbing his paws on his arms. "They are so cold"

"He IS dangerous and we’re worried for your well-being" Puma uttered.

"Be careful Yelena, we don’t trust him" Ava said sternly.

Yelena forced a smile, she didn’t expect this to go well from the start, Nicklaus was a dangerous god by nature, everyone knows his tale and his ways, and she was just mated to him, definitely not what she expected. But still... a smile crossed her lips.

Yelena walked towards Nicklaus seated on a bed like he was resting, staring at him from this angle and his calm features, he was simply breathtaking, he seed too good to be true, his raven hair, dark and moist, she could still rember how she trailed her hands on them during their sections, it was wide and intense and she loved it., Most especially those green eyes of his that held wonders, the colors in am mix and how they sparkled whenever he gaze upon her was just magical.

"Let

guess your animals don’t like " he stated. Breaking her out of her trance.

"They just love judging people that’s all" she shrugged in response hoping he wasn’t too bothered by it.

"Well... not seeking their approval
