Nicklaus released his hand from his jaw, his fingers tapping the arm of the golden throne, at his imnse silence, they were up on their toes and intimidated by it. Nicklaus’ cold eyes scanned his subjects. "It has been 2 thousand years... And I’m proud everything is under control during my absence" he began, giving them a flush of relief.
"Yes My liege, awaiting your return, we were devastated you had to undergo a trial given by the Mother goddess, but as expected she was no match for you, you have returned to us!" Bartholow said.
"Great is our Emperor!" the rest announced as their clamorous voice echoed in the hall.
"My coming back wasn’t by my power, as you are all aware my beloved has returned to "
"Yes we heard My liege, a Mortal who is the reincarnation of The goddess Yelena, guardian of the spirit forest," a lady said this ti.
Nicklaus’ eyes traveled to her, a royal beauty she was but none can rival that of Yelena’s.

"Yes it is as you have said, Katherine" Bartholow toned in. "But we are all aware goddesses don’t reincarnate, if she really is then the mother goddess have a hand in it... and trust my liege that elder goddess always have one or two things up her sleeve, she is our enemy, your enemy"
"As you said, Bartholow, she does have a hand in Yelena’s reincarnation, she was cursed too to undergo trial," Nicklaus said, reminiscing everything Celeste told him.
Whispered echoed in the hall, with a hand raised from Nicklaus they all shut their mouths.
"My liege... if she is her reincarnation, she is but mortal now... do you intend to still have her as your Empress, doesn’t that put us in a tight position?" Katherine intoned.
"A mortal who sits on the throne," Another vampire said.
"And the daughter of the mother goddess"

A growl erupted from Nicklaus that shook the halls. "I did not co here, you ask your option!" he snapped as silence filled the hall, the air around instantly got chilly.
"Yelena IS your Empress and she will ALWAYS be, the ceremony shall comnce as tradition states"
"As you wish My liege" they announced with a head bow. No one would dare question his decision.
"More importantly..."
They raised their heads.
"Plans to wipe out the Sun Realm should be set in motion..." his tone is icy cold, laced with venom.
They froze at his words with wide eyes.
"...And destroy the Mother goddess"

I groaned, stirring awake, with a turn I felt my side hoping to feel Nicklaus but it was an empty space. I opened my eyes, they saddened, he wasn’t here, when did he leave. I sat up holding the red covers to my naked body, I frown. Could it be because of the question I asked? I could still rember how hesitant he was, I bit my lip tightly turned, and then I gasped, my body jolting slightly.
There were about five maids with their heads bowed, what were they doing here?
"Good Morning Empress" a voice ca in, as the maids parted for soone to step forward.
"O-Olivia," I said with a sigh. She smiled.
"H-How did they get in here? And how long?"
"Well we were awaiting you to be awake Empress"
