Diamond, after the call to Garnet, left her room as she headed downstairs to et with the twins and Anita.
On her way, Andrea was busy reporting to her sothing that she missed since she was busy dealing with other things.
And hearing that report, she couldn’t help but sneer, amusent in her eyes at the thought of that truly happening.
"There are no signs of foul play?" she couldn’t help but ask.
{No, it’s all genuine!}
"Then I guess, I can only wait for the drama later, then!" she amusedly said as the elevator doors opened, motioning for her to exit.
Diamond exited the elevator and shortly found herself walking towards the dining room where the three Ace female mbers were sitting, waiting for the chefs to finish cooking.
As soon as the twins saw Diamond, they all bead at her.
"Good morning, Sis!" x2
"Morning girls!" Diamon cheerfully responded as she neared the table and nodded her head towards Anita, whom she had seen earlier that morning.
"Sis, you won’t believe it, but damn, Portia broadcasted earlier. Did you see it?"
Diamond shook her head as she sat down. "No, I was on the phone, so I missed it."
"Haha, this is the first ti I saw that pampered girl working so hard."
"She was clumsy, but she managed to do it."
"Sis, you lost this ti. What are you going to do?"
This ti, all eyes were on Diamond. Diamond, seeing this, smiled mysteriously as she picked up her phone on the table and started typing sothing on it.
After a while, all the phones received a notification and upon checking it, all eyes once again turned to Diamond.
"Sis, you ...."
Diamond shrugged her shoulders as she looked at the post, she just posted a while ago.
[DIAMOND (V): @ PORTIADICKENS, this lady takes back her words that you aren’t useless or a clown. I can see a lot of effort you have put in. Well done. This old mother is truly proud of you!]
"I promised, so I keep a promise!"
However, upon hearing that and checking the post, the twins couldn’t help but frown with worry.
"Sis, don’t you think that she is going to fu about what you have written there?"
"What’s there for her to fu? She is the one who told to hang it, didn’t she?"
Upon hearing that, the twins burst into laughter as they pictured just how angry Portia would be.
They didn’t need to wait for that long as Precious’s phone started ringing. When she looked at the caller, she raised her head to look at Diamond and worriedly said, "Sis, Portia is calling. What should I do?"
Diamond stretched her hand towards Precious and the other understood the mission. As if she was holding a hot potato, she quickly put the phone in Diamond’s hand before eagerly looking at her.
Diamond swiped the phone to answer and put the call on speaker.
[Precious! Where the heck is that sister of yours? How dare she be so shaless and tag after writing sothing so daring like that?] Like a firecracker, Portia bellowed angrily as she cursed.
Diamond frowned as she listened to this little girl who still hadn’t learnt her manners and retorted, "Is that how you speak with others?"
[You .... Who are you?] failing to recognize the voice, Portia asked falteringly, recognizing that the person who answered wasn’t Precious at all.
"It doesn’t matter who I am, but don’t you know the basics of talking? Greet the other person first before you go into details. Is Precious your slave who can waste her ti listening to your BS like that?" Diamond scolded the other without any care about the consequences.
[You ... it’s you, right?]
"So, what if I am? Don’t you know how to talk?"
[Sniff .... You only know how to bully . You are even scolding ?]
"So, what if I scold you? Kids like you without any manners, I can also beat. Do you want to trash you again?"
[You dare!]
"Yes, I do. You want to try out?"
[You ... tell where you are and we can finish this face-to-face!] Portia angrily retorted, and Diamond could imagine how puffed up she was at this mont.
A smirk rose on her face as she responded, "What do I gain by doing so? Do you think I am your goon who cos and goes as you wish?"
[I .... Don’t make things difficult. I will buy you lunch. How about that?]
"And what makes you think that I am so broke to rely on your charity?"
[You ... can’t you just agree with once? If you don’t, I will tell my father!]
"Hahaha, and what can he do to ?"
Watching as Diamond continued to tornt Portia, the twins shuddered with fear.
If at that ti they had followed the first plan and made things difficult for Diamond, what kind of outco would they have seen?
Anita, on the other hand, just watched with an amusing smile, her thoughts unknown but her eyes seed to be calculating. Whatever she was calculating, only she knew.
[You really don’t want to et ?]
"You don’t want to tattle to your father now?"
[Umph! I won’t. So, et , okay?]
"If you beg , I can consider it?" Diamond suggested a sly smile on her face.
There was silence on the other side for a while before a response ca, [please, can we et?] and the twins were stunned.
’Portia knows how to say sorry?’
It’s been ages since they heard or saw Portia lowering her head for anyone.
Sensing that the other might be sincere and curious, as well as what Portia wanted, Diamond felt that she had teased the other enough, so she agreed.
"Fine. let’s et. However, let’s do so in Style Central Mall. Thanks to you last ti, I didn’t manage to buy everything I wanted."
[Fine. let’s et there, then! What ti?]
"In two hours."
[Okay!] Portia acknowledged before hanging up.
Once the call ended, the three ladies looked at Diamond with stars in their eyes.
"Sis, you rock!"
"How do you manage to do that and still get away without any harm?"
Knowing Portia’s parents, there was no way they would tolerate their daughter getting bullied like that and not do anything.
And yet, they didn’t call Anita to confront since it was the Ace’s that were hosting Diamond in Strawford City this ti. And even Portia was apologizing to Diamond in the end.
Just how did she do it?
Diamond grinned playfully at the twins as she responded, "You just need to have a pretty face!" shalessly boasting again.
"Urgh!" the twins both showed a retching expression at Diamond’s words and the dining room was filled with endless laughter.
After breakfast, the twins and Diamond returned to their rooms, where they started changing.
With Portia eting with Diamond at the mall, it ant that there was another shopping spree about to happen.
So how could they miss such a chance?
