Inside the CEO’s office, Diamond sat on one of the couches with the man whom she finally learnt his na to be Mr. Jackson.
Mr. Jackson owned a small percentage of shares in the mall, but he had done a great job in managing the mall in the past five years.
Diamond didn’t care much about the ins and outs of the mall. To her, as long as her dividends, just like the others, get in her accounts in ti, then she wouldn’t have any issues with anyone.
And she made sure to tell Mr. Jackson about that.
"I don’t like flaunting too much, which is why I didn’t make my presence known when I arrived. Anyway, since we t now, I might as well tell you, my stance!" without beating around the bush, Diamond, who had an event to go to later stated. "I won’t participate in any managent. Just do what you have been doing all along."
And when Mr. Jackson heard that, he heaved with relief. What was scary was having shareholders like Miss Perry interfering in managent. Things might get ssy with that.
Fortunately, this one didn’t seem interested at all.
In the end, after a not-so-length discussion, Diamond ended up receiving a VIP shopping card, which she can use in any shop in the mall. The discount was pretty good, 30% and could save her a lot of money.
Since she was friends with the twins, the CEO gave out two more cards but with lower discounts than hers, which was still better.
She can’t have people taking advantage of her all the ti, could she?
After assuring the man about everything, Diamond t with the twins, who were making these older directors sweat buckets with whatever they were talking about.
When they left, Diamond couldn’t help but chuckle as she sensed how relieved those directors were with the twins gone.
Whatever the twins did when she was with the CEO, she didn’t even want to know.
Since so much ti had passed, there was no ti to waste anymore. So, the three of them headed for the basent where the car was at.
On their way back ho, Diamond found herself sitting on the hot chair, getting bombarded with a lot of questions once again.
"Sis, you .... You hide pretty well!"
Upon hearing that, Diamond couldn’t help but guffaw, feeling like hiding sowhere knowing what was coming. But could the twins just let her escape like that?
"Hehe, if they didn’t co and expose you, we wouldn’t know that our sis is truly a hidden bigshot among bigshots."
"Sis, when you beco the shareholder?"
The girls were simply so curious. Diamond was very mysterious, with the majority of her businesses still unknown. Except for what she wants people to know, the rest always remains a mystery.
It was one of the rare days when they happened to co across such a secret. How could they not be curious?
Seeing that the girls were adamant about getting the answers that they wanted, Diamond could only bite the bullet and answer, "It’s a recent thing. A girl needs so assets!" her tone sounding a bit boastful.
However, to the twins’ ears, this sounded just perfect and in line with their sis. It was only their sis who spent millions of dollars simply because she took a liking to sothing.
Money was truly the best.
They couldn’t help but bombard her with praises all the way to the villa.
And when they arrived at the villa, a team of stylists were waiting for Diamond. With her going to attend the music show, Anita couldn’t let the girl doll herself. So, she called out to a team.
With them here to help Diamond, the twins found ti to go and tattle ..... share the wonderful news and gossip of the day.
With them gone, Diamond remained with five stylists, in charge of her make-up and her hair.
They also ca with gowns and all that, but how could she wear what other people had worn or borrow a gown? She wasn’t that poor to that extent.
In the end, before the styling started, Diamond excused herself and returned a mont later with the clothes she had prepared for the event.
And when the stylists saw the outfit, their eyes shone so much that Diamond couldn’t help but chuckle, finding them pretty cute.
With the clothes in their view, the team knew what needed to be done. And Diamond for once in her life found herself understanding the suffering these celebrities and socialites go through every ti that they appear looking srizing on the screen.
After sitting down for like two or three hours, Diamond exhaled a deep breath as she stood on her feet, happy that the whole torture was finally over. And yet happy to see the final results.
She looked very dope and couldn’t help but love her hairstyle very much.
Her hair had always been an issue for her. It was damn too long but she didn’t want to cut it. Thankfully, it wasn’t stubborn and very smooth to deal with. Which also made it easier to style.
"You are going to outshine them all!" the head stylist couldn’t help but praise sincerely as she looked at Diamond.
Diamond grinned, facing the mirror, her pearly white teeth exposing themselves in the process.
If she lived in a world where she didn’t see herself, she would be too shocked to accept that the person reflected in the mirror was her. She looked too beautiful for her own good.
"Hehe, that was the plan from the beginning!" she shalessly responded, flicking the braided hair back, a smug grin on her face, making the stylists laugh out loud.
After getting acquainted for a couple of hours, these five knew Diamond’s humor pretty well.
It was simply expected.
And with her looking like that, it would be a sha if she remains humble. Sotis, a bit of boasting was needed.
A person with confidence was attractive to anyone’s eyes, and one with such looks was even more attractive.
With everything done, it was ti for Diamond to leave.
She didn’t want to be late for her first official event.
After all, she still wanted to attend more in the future.
