Raising her head to look at Diamond, Chrissy nervously said, "But...." Unfortunately, she didn’t get to finish as Diamond cut in. "This will not harm , trust !"
Chrissy, hearing that firm tone which sounded pretty confident, decided to leave it at that. Since Diamond wasn’t worried, then maybe she should trouble herself as well.
Walking and dragging their suitcases, the two friends pushed aside that story and continued to talk about other things.
Chrissy was older than Diamond by three years. She was twenty-nine and a resident of Strawford City.
Although the two didn’t exchange a lot of information, Diamond discerned that Chrissy was rich. She might not co from a prominent family, but she was definitely the hard-working kind.
Chrissy made her feel curious and honestly, she couldn’t wait to learn more about her.
Waiting for an Uber to co and pick them up, Chrissy suddenly received a call, and it sounded urgent.
Diamond, seeing that, urged Chrissy to deal with her matters. She was still in the city for a couple of days, so they could still see each other.
"Are you free tomorrow?" after exchanging numbers, Chrissy asked Diamond.
Diamond shook her head as she licked her lips for a second before answering. "I have a show to attend tomorrow. So maybe the other day!" revealing a bit about the reason why she was in the city.
Surely when Chrissy heard that, her eyes lit up as she asked, "What kind of show is it?"
As a traveler, she had attended a lot of events. So, she was quite curious as to what kind of event Diamond would be attending.
But when she heard Diamond’s answer, she was once again stunned. She couldn’t contain herself and asked directly right there and there, "Are you perhaps a singer?" uncertain about what Diamond did, but recalling how nice her voice was, Chrissy could only think of that profession.
Otherwise, why would she be going to a music show where singing was done for hours?
Diamond burst into a chuckle as she listened to that. Seeing how puzzled the other was, she could tell that the other was probably suffering seeking an answer right now.
Since she liked Chrissy, at least for now, she couldn’t watch her with such an expression, so she took out her phone and typed sothing on it before fishing it back into her pocket.
"You check that and learn what I do!"
And that was the last thing Diamond said to Chrissy before boarding the Uber, which arrived just in ti.
As the two of them were going separate ways now, Diamond decided to take the Uber and let Chrissy fend for herself.
Sitting inside the Uber, Diamond told the driver where she wanted to go and the man took off beautifully.
Chrissy looked at the phone and then the Uber, which had already left, and sighed dejectedly.
After a while, she swiped the phone’s screen and clicked on the ssage that had been sent to her.
When she looked at the ssage, all she saw was an Acebook’s page link. However, the page seed to have Diamond’s face, so she didn’t think much about it and clicked on it.
At least a social dia account would shed so light on a person, a reason why Diamond must have sent her the link.
Within seconds, Chrissy was staring at Diamond’s page with her jaws dropped to the ground.
’How many followers are those?’ looking at the figure at the top of the page, Chrissy had to rub her eyes incessantly just to make sure that her eyes weren’t playing her.
But when the figure remained there, she knew that this was all real. And since it was all real, then better check more on the page and see what this new friend of hers was doing.
And when she saw the posts and the thousands of comnts on each post, Chrissy took a deep breath and said to herself, "Be calm. Be calm!"
But damn, how could she remain calm when she was seeing all this?
No wonder why the other was too calm earlier. So, this was her job?
Feeling a bit lancholic, Chrissy decided to look at Diamond’s information later, after dealing with the issue which led her to separate from Diamond earlier.

anwhile, on Diamond’s side, although spending ti with Chrissy had sohow eaten her ti and disrupted her plans, she didn’t find it a pity.
The ti she had spent with Chrissy was aningful. It’s been a while since she sat down with soone who considered her a friend despite being the first day of eting.
And one who didn’t know who she was at all. How can she not be interested?
Fortunately, she didn’t have much planned for the day. The twins, she would et with them later. For now, there was one important thing that she needed to do.
So days before, she received an apartnt from the system. And since she didn’t stay in Strawford, she planned to rent it out.
She wasn’t one to sell the buildings that she owned unless it was necessary. So, renting it out and earning so dollars would be more profitable in her case than letting the house collect dust while waiting for her.
It took a while for her to arrive at the real estate agency, the one which had her apartnt keys.
When she arrived, she was welcod warmly, and she t with the manager, whom she then assigned the task of renting the place out to him.
The two signed the contract, and she left her details. Since she would be collecting rent from now on, the necessary details had to be given out.
After dealing with the apartnt, as she left, the system suddenly graced her with a visit. [Ding! Do you want to sign in?]
Diamond’s brows rose as she listened to that. Could it be that she was going to earn another building?
She was going to sign in at a real estate agency, after all.
She couldn’t help but be curious.
