Samantha stood there with a smile on her face as she listened to the unending flattery, which at tis made her head feel very dizzy.
After all, who was certain that the words were sincere or just re flattery?
Checking the clock on the wall, she couldn’t help but wonder what ti that lass Vivian was going to co and bring the lady she had spoken highly of yesterday.
She couldn’t be blad. As soone who was in her fifties, a lot of ailnts plagued her, despite her constant investnt in her health. Age was sothing that just ca with its own problems.
As a person who had climbed from the bottom of society until she was seated on the throne, her body wasn’t as good as what other people might think.
When looking at these young ladies who haven’t been conquered by ti, she couldn’t but feel envy.
However, being youthful wasn’t the most important thing that concerned her right now, was her failing health.
To keep up appearances, Samantha hosted another banquet where ladies from all walks of life could gather, et, connect, network, and socialize.
For those with superb communication skills, their lives might be changed forever for the good, while others might get unlucky. After all, it was very easy to offend others in such events like this. A matter of not recognizing mountain Tai, as what those people from the Lostrus continent always say.
While entertaining the people surrounding her, suddenly a commotion started attracting Samantha to look in that direction to see what was happening.
And when her eyes shifted focus in that direction, she beca stunned at every second.

That was the question that filled her mind as she looked at the young lady dressed in silver, looking ethereal like a goddess.
The silver gown looked pretty good on her light skin and, accompanied by the silver and golden jewelry she was wearing, Samantha finally put one and one and got the answer she was seeking for.
Wasn’t that the young lady she saw the other ti at the banquet held last year and at that ti she wore a gown with so silver and gold as well? She had looked so beautiful that all eyes were on her back then.
And yet, despite all the attention fixated on her, the lady had been too busy to notice. She didn’t put on airs and simply spent her ti with the group of socialites and actresses.
Seeing her once again and this ti wearing another silver gown with that long hair adorned with hair ornants, despite being neatly tied into a high ponytail, Samantha was amused.
"Who is she?"
"She looks pretty fancy!"
"She is pretty!"
"I feel as if I have seen her sowhere!?"
While all these questions were rising, the ladies surrounding Samantha began to ask her questions as well. However, she brushed them aside since she didn’t know much about the lady except for her na.
Yesterday she knew the na Diamond, but now she had matched the na with the person who she still hasn’t forgotten after months. That’s how huge the impact her looks had left on her back then.
anwhile, on Diamond’s side, passing several ladies who kept on stealing peaks at her, she maintained a smile on her face.
As soone who was in the entertainnt industry with millions of followers, and running a charity foundation, she had realized the importance of having a friendly expression.
Of course, if soone tries to take advantage of her and pushes the wrong buttons, she will lose it. However, she understood that she couldn’t keep an icy expression, as if people owed her.
She wanted to be loved a lot, which was why she didn’t hesitate to start becoming an internet celebrity even when she had amassed a large anti-fan base as well.
That, however, didn’t matter to her. The number of haters was a small fraction when compared to the number of people who liked her.
So, dealing with haters and those who liked her was so easy for her.
It didn’t take long before she and Vivian arrived where Mrs. Hamilton was surrounded by a group of well-dressed ladies. So of them stinking as if they had poured bottles of cologne on them and others backed with makeup, that whenever they smiled, their aces would crack, making it very awkward to look at them.
"Ma’am, it’s a pleasure to see you again!" with a cheerful smile on her face, Vivian said to Mrs. Hamilton with familiarity, making the other smile as she took several steps towards her.
"We saw each other a while ago and yet seeing you again, I feel happy again!" Mrs. Hamilton said, her eyes squinting happily as her gaze fell on Diamond who wore a smile on her face, not seeming fazed by anything at all.
It was as if she was standing in her ho ground, as she oozed with confidence, which made her stand out more now that she was much closer compared to when she was a distance away.
"Hehe, I also missed you as well!" Vivian smoothly spoke as she acted more like a child, which left the other ladies a bit baffled and envious. After all, the number of people who could make Mrs. Hamilton so outspoken was few.
Vivian then pulled Diamond closer as she brought her closer to Mrs. Hamilton and introduced, "Ma’am, this is Diamond. The friend I told you about and the one you wanted to et. Isn’t she a beauty in person?" complenting Diamond.
Diamond felt her cheeks flushing as she found herself getting complinted for no reason. That she held her clutch tightly, wishing to beat the crap out of Vivian.

Andrea’s words made her want to beat Andrea as well.
"And D, et Mrs. Hamilton, the host of the banquet, and the lady who is looking forward to eting you!" Vivian didn’t forget to finish the introductions as well.
Diamond cald herself. After all, she didn’t want to lose face.
Stretching her hand towards Mrs. Hamilton, revealing more of that hand which looked spotless without any blemish, Diamond calmly greeted, "I am Diamond, and thank you for having , Mrs. Hamilton," a smile on her face.
Mrs. Hamilton took the other’s hand in hers and froze for a second as she felt how smooth that hand felt. It was as if it belonged to a baby and had never done any hard chore in life at all.
"It’s nice eting you as well, Diamond. I have heard so much about you!" earnestly spoke. After all, it was this young lady who had sothing that could get rid of all her problems, at least for the mont.
How could she not be eager?
