"I am sorry for keeping you waiting!" Diamond apologized as she took a seat across from the three n.
The n looked at her with friendly smiles, appreciating the beautiful person they were eting.
"Haha, we just ca a bit early. No need to apologize."
The n responded hurriedly, not daring to accept the apology.
Wouldn’t they be in trouble if the client waited for them first?
Seeing the n being so friendly, Diamond was happy. Who cares what they were thinking in their minds?
As long as she gets the job done, the rest can rot in their minds.
"That’s good then. I don’t want to waste each other’s ti. The reason why I had this united eting was because I didn’t want to go around repeating the sa thing to each of you when I have one goal from the start to the end."
"I want certain buildings you have and I believe that I have stated that in the emails we exchanged yesterday. So, my question today is, are you interested in selling and if you are, how much are you selling?"
"I would prefer if we finish the negotiations today. I have a busy schedule from today going onwards and I prefer doing this sort of thing on my own. So, gents, please forgive in advance!"
Without wasting ti and beating around the bush, Diamond went for what she wanted.
This thing of entertaining each other and listening to eerie jokes and trying to see who can outdrink another, Diamond didn’t want to participate in that.
Besides, that kind of entertaining, wasn’t that done by people who had sothing they wanted from others?
Although she wanted sothing herself, didn’t they want sothing more from her?
When the three n heard how straightforward this young lady was, they couldn’t help but look at each other, baffled.
When had they ever co across soone like that before?
It was sothing new and refreshing at the sa ti.
Seeing that she wasn’t playing and was serious about it, the n also entered business mode.
And with Diamond pushing, the room suddenly turned into one concise business eting.
Diamond looked at the contracts the agents brought to her and after speed-reading them, she found everything straightforward.
The prices were reasonable because there was a leeway for clients who could pay in full as well.
After checking everything, which lasted for an hour or so, Diamond happily visited the agents’ agencies and signed her signature on the deeds of sale without any worries.
All paynts were done in full, and she left the agencies with the keys. And as for the docunts, the lawyer was going to deal with that.
As soon as she left the last agency, she received a call, and it was one she had been waiting for, for a long ti.
"Is this Ms. Diamond Perry? It is Mr. Yuri from FastCars & Motors. Your car has been delivered. When are you free to co and pick it up?"
Hearing such a question, how could she not be happy?
"I will be there in an hour," she hurriedly responded as she thought of seeing the car the system had rewarded her with before.
"We will be waiting for you, then."
With the arrival of the sports car, Diamond’s mood further improved. Not only did she buy several buildings, but she was going to pick her car up as well. How can it not be a good day?
And since the real estate issue had been solved, Diamond turned to Garnet, who was looking at her tablet reading sothing probably and instructed, "Garnet, take us to FastCars & Motors. My baby has arrived!" enthusiastically.
When Garnet heard that, she locked the tablet and looked at Diamond with a smile, "sure. Let’s go!" she readily agreed before taking the first step towards the car.
Diamond seeing Garnet making a move already, followed with a smile as well.
Inside the car monts later, Diamond received another call and it was from Nancy, her hard-working secretary.
[Miss. My friend has arrived. When will you be free to et her?]
After a lot of deliberation and mistakes, Nancy resorted to calling Diamond Miss. It was better than being called ma’am, or lady boss, as it made her look and sound older. Which was sothing that she didn’t like at all.
Despite being about to turn twenty-six years old, she was still sixteen by heart.
So being called Miss or First Miss, since there was Ruby behind her, sounded very pleasing to the ears and she loved it a lot.
When she heard that, Diamond’s eyes lit up. For a mont there, she nearly thought that this friend was playing gas with her. Otherwise, judging from the ti Nancy told her that the friend would be coming, she hadn’t heard of the arrival.
It was as if the lawyer friend was playing both Nancy and herself. So, knowing that she was finally there, another worry was washed off her.
"Um. Let’s et at Queens café in like two hours." After deliberation, Diamond gave Nancy the address of the eting.
Talking about this café, it was a good one. Their cakes were so delicious and very famous. It was another hot spot for couples to go to, especially on dates.
As for why she was going there instead of another place, Diamond suddenly thought of the newly invented rainbow cake, which she saw online recently the café had introduced.
On top of that, she was a VIP custor there, so her privileges were abundant. Why not make use of them while assessing the new employee who might end up starting work that day?
Didn’t she have the final details regarding the purchase of land to deal with?
Since she wanted this friend to be her personal lawyer, it would be better to see how she works by giving her this assignnt than assigning the previous foundation lawyers who had been dealing with her business before.
She didn’t know what she would be getting, but it didn’t hurt to be optimistic.
