" ..... standing next to you ....."
Before she could respond to Andrea, her phone started ringing.
"Who is calling?" Diamond asked as she continued to walk towards the car.
Since her phone was in the bag and she was wearing an ear pod, she asked Andrea who could see everything.
{Its Will!} ca the response.
"Answer it!" with a playful smile on her face, she instructed.
Shortly, the call was connected.
[My lady!]
"Where are you?"
[Sowhere close. Where do you want us to et?] The answer was a bit vague, but she didn’t feel offended by it.
After receiving information on Will, Diamond was no longer that curious. As long as he didn’t betray her and worked diligently, she would make sure that he lived long and, at the sa ti, had the riches and fa he deserved.
"Just follow my car!" she responded before dropping the call.
She didn’t know where the other was and wasn’t interested in spying on getting the answers she needed.
As long as Will did her job seriously, then what more would she ask for?
So, after dropping the call, she went to the car where she let Andrea take over the steering wheel.
Before entering the car, she had told Garnet where they were headed, so she didn’t have to worry about her.
On the way to her destination, Diamond, who didn’t have to drive, was busy checking sothing on the tablet with a serious face.
"They are all so good. Which ones should I buy?" she mumbled to herself as she looked at the several buildings that Andrea had diligently found for her in the past several days.
{Mother, rather than worrying about that. If you love them all, why not buy everything?} Andrea asked in an arrogant tone, which made her chuckle.
She rembered the first ti she spoke sothing like that. She was in Srad and making things difficult for Eliza, where she downgraded the little girl and felt so much better after holding it for years.
"I guess that makes sense. Rather than stressing myself like this, I might as well buy them all!" she chuckled heartedly as she loved that statent so much.
It wasn’t like she lacked money. So why bother being stingy?
"Contact the real agencies involved with the properties. Set a date for either tomorrow or any other day, which isn’t the 20th. If it’s not tomorrow, then we will do a video call."
{I will set the appointnts. What if they are available later today and tonight?}
"I guess I can make do with them. If it is possible, let all representatives gather tomorrow morning. I don’t have ti to et everyone at different tis," Diamond changed her mind after a deliberation.
{That’s my mother.}
"We have the capital after all!" she shrugged with smugness before checking the buildings which Andrea had gotten for her.
Last ti, Diamond wanted to buy more buildings for her empire. And the buildings which Andrea had found for her were quite a lot, actually.
She found two buildings which were suitable for cafes, one restaurant, a two-floor building with lots of parking space, and two supermarkets, of which one is a mini market.
All of them were pretty good for her and the prices were affordable as well.
Currently, there were no suitable buildings for her entertainnt company and the additional building for the foundation she wanted. However, good things always take ti. That’s what she learnt, and she was going to bide her ti and wait until Andrea finds sothing.
With Andrea driving, it wasn’t long until she arrived at the familiar gate she had once at the previous week.
Guarding the place were n and won who wore black from head to toe, with their tops written HOPEFORCE GUARD at the back.
Looking at their attire, Diamond couldn’t help but recall another issue she had forgotten again. She wanted to make uniforms for her staff, not just the security team, but everyone. And yet she had been so busy that it flew right out of her mind.
She felt complicated with mixed emotions as her car plus three more cars followed behind.
Andrea parked in a nice slot with a shed, so her Angel was saved from the heat. Next to hers was Garnet’s black car and on the other side of Garnet were two black PLAXEDIS SUVs which, by now, she knew belonged to the ghost rchant team who had been trailing her ever since she left the foundation.
Climbing out of the car, Diamond stretched her body as she looked around the warehouse, which she hadn’t started using yet.
She couldn’t be blad; it was one of those places which she had forgotten due to the excitent of sending Ruby to school. And with no other places which needed to be supplied, the warehouse nearly beca an abandoned place.
Talking about more abandoned places. Didn’t she have another building that nearly gave her a heart attack she received a while back?
’I will take a closer look at it once I return from my trips!’ she made a choice as soon as she recalled it.
Since the building was a bit difficult to deal with, since she didn’t have much ti on her hands, she decided to not stress much but take it slowly.
She was still one person who couldn’t do everything.
As soon as Diamond was out of her car, Garnet exited hers as well and guarded Diamond dutifully while keeping an eye on the n and won who were carrying a familiar aura, which made her anxious.
If those people didn’t an well to her mistress, the consequences would be deadly, and she didn’t want to see the person she had co to like so much suffer a loss because of them.
Diamond, seeing that, felt very warm as it was just nice having soone so willing to protect her from the danger of the unknown.
Fortunately, the ghost rchants wouldn’t harm her. After all, whether they liked it or not, she was their owner and they would be serving her for a very long ti.
After seeing their information, Diamond no longer felt pity or worried about how this would be unfair to them. This new job of theirs could be considered their atonent or retribution.
