The next morning, after breakfast, Diamond left on her own and went to et with Mr. Dike and Lucy.
Her lawyer, the one who had been handling all her assets when she started, t with her at the offices and the five of them, including Mr. Dike’s lawyer, spent so quality ti together.
The process was a bit tedious, but it was worth every second spent.
It was around noon by the ti everything was finished. The transfer docunts of the title deeds had been filled, the money had been paid in full, and all that remained was for the buildings to be in her na.
And that was sothing her lawyer was pretty good at.
Speaking about lawyers, Diamond suddenly recalled Nancy’s lawyer friend. She had almost forgotten about her because of her busy schedule.
She couldn’t help but wonder if the friend was in the country or not by now.
So, when she was in the parking lot, she called Nancy to ask her as well as to et her. She had those plans she made the other night which were going to affect Nancy, so telling her in person was the best thing to do.
After knowing where Nancy was, Diamond drove to the three-story building, which was still in full renovation mode.
She and Nancy t at a nearby parking since there was so noise at the site.
When the two t, they ordered so lunch before they started chatting as they ate.
"Is your lawyer friend in the country?" Diamond asked as she forked so spaghetti from the plate.
Nancy placed the glass of water on the table before responding, "She will be returning tomorrow. Sothing happened which caused her delay."
"Oh! I hope all is well, then!"
"She said that it’s fine. Which is also a relief."
"That’s good then. Anyway, when she cos, don’t forget to tell . I will see her and if she is good, I will use her, but if not then I can only be sorry."
"Don’t worry, Miss. You won’t be disappointed!" Nancy boasted sincerely.
She might doubt other people, but that friend of hers trusted her completely.
"Um. I will believe in you then," seeing Nancy’s determination, Diamond could only acquiesce again for the mont. "Anyway, I wanted to et you for another reason. Have you found the executives for the three companies yet?" she asked as she looked at Nancy.
Nancy swallowed her food, and took a few sips of guava juice before facing her lady boss with a response, "So far, I have been dealing more with the lower managent. It’s a bit hard to find suitable people, so I didn’t want to risk it," an honest one.
When Diamond heard that, she heaved a sigh of relief.
"That’s good then. It would have been a ss if you had found so people already!" she patted her chest exaggeratedly at the thought of disappointing not just one person but many others.
When Nancy heard that, she had a bad feeling that Diamond was up to no good. But what exactly was she planning to do?
"I was doing a lot of thinking recently, so I changed so of your duties in the process. I know you are a hard worker and trust , I really like you."
"Rather than letting you sit in one of my companies when there are so many of it, I decided to make you my general secretary. The person who will have the highest authority among every other employee of mine in the future."
"In my absence, you will represent and you will answer only to . I will be hiring more secretaries as I want to call them, or directors who will be in charge of each company. These people will answer to you and you to ."
"Your job will be managing all the companies on my behalf when I am busy or even when I am free. So with such a great responsibility, I ....."
She couldn’t really say that she was too lazy to manage her business, to be honest. There were a lot of things to do and she was just one person. Since she hired other people to work for her, she might as well utilize them pretty well.
On the other hand, Nancy was first frozen by shock before she was thrilled with the good news. The trust that had been placed in her was simply too enormous, so how could she turn this opportunity down?
That was simply the sa as her running all of Diamond’s businesses. How could she not be happy?
Although the businesses weren’t hers, the fact that one day she would be mingling with the big bosses on her boss’s behalf, she was ecstatic.
And since she wasn’t a fool, she hurriedly thanked Diamond for the opportunity, making Diamond beam with happiness.
’Another job beautifully passed to another!’
How could she not be happy seeing how Nancy was brimming with happiness because of more responsibility?
The two chatted rrily over a al, touching on other topics that Diamond had thought of before and wanted to relay to Nancy.
With the new changes happening, Nancy should be aware of the new duties and should start working on them.
After the al was done, the discussion was also done and if there was anything that Nancy didn’t understand, Diamond told her to talk to her. She will do her best to help.
With Nancy’s issue settled Diamond drove back ho, where she once again sat down with Garnet in the study for another eting.
"I have summarized your account activities from the mont you started being active online. And as of right now, your Ioniq account follower count is at 5 million followers, despite updating sparsely."
"You don’t have one fixed type of content and your followers seed to love anything as long as it’s about you, which is quite good, actually."
"Your ergence in the circle started with you showing off your riches and it was maintained that way. So, in the future, we won’t have to act average or like poor people. Maintaining what we already have will keep you in contact. We don’t want to confuse the fans."
"Your Quetube account is mainly dead, but I think that we should open a new account and leave that one as your private one. Considering how the account is nad D. PERRY, we will risk exposing your family to the public if netizens dig deeper."
"I have registered several accounts on famous platforms and I believe that by mingling in that crowd, your fa will go beyond. Rather than capturing Atharian citizens, let’s go global."
