That morning, to avoid more distractions when going out since it was going to be a busy day, she left Ruby and Selena ho whilst she took Garnet with her.
Diamond was in a hurry and as she had forgotten to purchase furniture for the security team that other day, she needed to do it pretty quickly.
By the ti they arrive in the afternoon, they could arrange the furniture themselves and start staying in the apartnts with ease.
On her way to the CBD, she instructed Andrea to have everything available in terms of docunts related to the security company which she now called HOPEGUARD FORCE.
The team in the anti wouldn’t have a building to station themselves since she forgot to think about it before 2078 ended.
After two hours of being on the road, Diamond and Garnet went straight to the furniture shop where she proved herself once again that she was almighty. The shop was quite large, so it wasn’t a problem to find similar furniture she wanted.
If they weren’t there, they promised to take them out from the warehouse and deliver them to her that sa day since she wanted everything delivered to the Greenbay apartnts the sa day.
The shopping didn’t last for long, since she had many helpers to aid her. After paying for everything and providing the address for delivery, Diamond left the CBD and headed for the apartnts to wait for everything.
On her way there, she received a call from Admire who inford her that they had arrived. Diamond provided the address Admire, and the group had to give it to the drivers.
She didn’t have transport to go and pick them up, so they might as well just take Ubers and co to the given location.
On her way to the apartnts again, she called Nancy and set an appointnt since she wasn’t at ho but busy with the renovations.
After sorting that out, she finally reached the apartnts where she had the manager unlock all the apartnts, she was going to give to the security guards on their arrival.
As she waited for everyone to arrive, Diamond checked the docunts that Andrea had sent to her, reading and trying her best to understand everything.
[Ding! Do you want to sign in?] Without her expecting that to happen at such a ti, she heard the notification loud and clear.
’Sign in!’ she wasn’t one to reject such an enticing invite.
[Ding! You have been rewarded with one building. Collect the deeds in your inventory.]
When she heard that, Diamond stopped in her tracks as she felt like she had misheard the system.
Did she just receive another building?
How co the system was feeling so generous like that? Nevertheless, whatever reason the system had; she was grateful.
She was in great need of buildings and it would be nice if they were ready-made ones without the need to have so renovations.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a good ti for her to check it out. Once she had settled everyone, she was going to look into it and see what goodies she had been given this ti.
anwhile, outside the apartnt, several Ubers entered the parking lot attracting the Greenbay administrators to wonder what was going on for a second.
However, when they recalled that the boss lady had ntioned that people would be arriving later, they cald down.
Admire exited the Uber and so did many of his compatriots.
He took a deep breath as he looked at the unfamiliar city, he never thought he would leave everything he knew back ho to co just because of a change of managent.
However, when he thought of the crazy bonuses and what those six who were in Taco told him about how generous Diamond was, he would be having second doubts.
"Sir, is she really inside?" one of the guards asked curiously as he looked at the tall building in front of them.
"She should be. Let’s go in and ask!" Admire replied before he started walking towards the building.
When the other group saw their leader going into the building, they all followed.
Inside one of the offices, Diamond was chilling as she finished reading the docunts which were a bit stressful when the manager ca to call her and inform her that her people had arrived.
Upon hearing that, she was so happy; she jumped on her feet before hurrying outside. Garnet like a loyal shadow, followed behind preparing herself for anything. Her duty was to protect her mistress after all.
When Diamond entered the reception hall, a group of people welcod her. Thankfully, it wasn’t all of them who entered the hall, otherwise, the hall would have been overcrowded.
"There you are!" Diamond exclaid happily upon seeing a familiar face, Admire, standing in front of the group.
Admire sighed helplessly inwardly when he spotted Diamond. He had known that she was young and outgoing. But knowing that and seeing it was completely different.
Diamond was wearing a floral dress which reached her knees making her look very youthful.
"Miss, it’s nice to finally et you in person!" Admire could only say as he stretched his hand towards Diamond.
Diamond grinningly shook the man’s hand with hers before letting go and said, "The sa is true here. It’s good that all of you are here!" clapping her hands in excitent.
The people who had never interacted with Diamond were baffled wondering if they were eting the wrong person.
From what they were expecting, their boss should have so attitude, after all, weren’t rich people all like that?
Admire wasn’t a talker, so he simply looked at her smiling hoping that she would tell them what to do next.
Just as they stood there, suddenly Diamond’s eyes lit up as she looked outside, which made him wonder what was going on.
Admire turned to look outside, hoping to see what had made her so happy and when he saw what she was seeing and what everyone else was seeing, he was stunned.
"Gents and ladies, let’s go outside. It’s ti to start working!" Diamond clasped her hands together as she commanded, leaving no room for negotiation.
Admire nodded at the team he had been leading for years and everyone set their bags aside before following Diamond and the little girl who was like Diamond’s shadow.
