"Ms. Perry, I didn’t know that you were coming!"

Diamond smiled brightly as she looked at the person in charge of renovating the garage that she purchased for her father.

"I just decided to drop by and check the progress. And I can tell that you have been doing just great!" Diamond sincerely praised as she looked at the man.

"Hehe. I am happy to hear that."

After catching up with the supervisor, Diamond introduced the man to her family mbers and everyone got acquainted well.

"Dad, this place I recently purchased a while ago and I put it under your na!" after a while, Diamond and her parents, who were seated in a renovated office, inford her parents.

"You....!" Richard stuttered as he couldn’t believe what he had just heard.

"Hehe, don’t stress Dad. I don’t want to see you idle at ho. I can see how much impact that has on you," she grinningly said as she looked at her shocked father.

Richard raised his hand and wiped the sweat dripping off his forehead with a dumbfounded expression.

"Darling, I ..."

"Dad, once this place is done. You can open your garage. What you want to do with it, you just think of it and do it. I will support you all the way. Whether you want to do the labor yourself or hire other people, you will have all the authority. I just want you to be your own boss, so don’t deny that right. Okay!" Diamond aggrievedly said as she looked at her father with an, ’I will be sad if you don’t accept this, look.

Seeing Diamond using that move, Richard knew right there that it would be impossible for him to say otherwise.

In the end, he sighed heavily before accepting his daughter’s present for him.

"Daddy will accept this. Thank you very much, darling!" Richard’s hands trembled as he thanked his daughter for fulfilling an untold dream of his.

After working for others for decades, being bossed and pushed around. All he wanted to do was provide the best to his family, and if possible, beco a boss.

Having his daughters beco second-rich-generation kids was sothing he dreamt about for a long ti. Unfortunately, he wasn’t that fortunate and was unable to provide the best for his family.

But now, instead of him providing that for his family, it was his daughter doing that for him. How blessed he was!

Seeing that her dad had accepted her gift, Diamond was obviously happy and began to explain everything that her parents were curious about.

Diamond was planning to register the company for her father once the New Year celebrations were over. At that ti, her dad should have found a na he would want to use for the company.

The five of them didn’t linger much at the garage but left after an hour or so. They headed for the next stop, which was the two-story building for her mother.

Diamond told everyone that the building was for her mother and she hoped that she would do what she loved with it.

Fortunately, her mother accepted the saloon idea she had thought of when she got to the building, and she was eager to start already.

On the sa day, Diamond managed to show her parents the presents she purchased for them and hoped that in the future they would be occupied and doing what they love instead of feeling as if they were burdens.

For a couple who had worked tirelessly for decades, resting with her could be considered good, but she had seen how fidgety and agitated her father, especially was at tis simply because he didn’t have much to do.

So, with their own companies in the future, she sincerely hoped that they would ignite that fire in them once again.

Diamond didn’t forget to encourage Ruby to help their parents set things up before returning to Frin for school.

After checking the sites, Diamond returned ho with everybody, and everyone was in a very good mood.

Seeing her parents and Ruby talking continuously about what they wanted to do, she swelled with pride.

Diamond decided to cook that day, and with Kian’s help, the two had a wonderful mont in the kitchen and got to spend more ti together.

Later that night, Diamond and Kian left the villa for a walk while leaving the three at ho, discussing business.

"Mom and Dad, have you thought of what you want to na the companies? With sister’s way of naming her business, she loves using her na a lot. I think that it saves her from overthinking too much, hehe!" she couldn’t help but chuckle as she thought of the companies she knew so far about her sister.

If her parents were to know how much her sister was hiding, she wondered how they would react.

"This ... can we really do like that?" Belinda hesitated a bit before asking.

"Yes. It’s your company and you can do whatever you want," Ruby answered her mother reassuringly.

"Oh! That’s good then. Let’s sleep on it and see what we can co up with!" Belinda said with relief.

Ruby also accepted this. After all, she didn’t want to rush her parents when they still had ti.

Outside, Diamond and Kian were on a walk hand in hand, as they enjoyed the night breeze.

"What are you thinking about?" Kian asked curiously after taking a peek at Diamond, who seed to be in a daze.

"Oh!" Diamond shook her head as she collected herself. "I was just thinking about how tough it will be next year."

"Um. Is sothing going to happen?" he couldn’t help but ask as he looked at her with interest.

Sothing about Diamond made him feel as if she had all the answers of the universe.

She was mysterious and a very secretive person to understand.

His real job, being a dark horse on the dark web, Kian was one of the top hackers not only in Athary but all over the world.

He had hacked all sorts of people in the world, dug into their information, sold and bought information, and yet when it cos to Diamond. He was stunned.

It was as if soone was deliberately toying with him. Apart from the useless information that wouldn’t make any change, nothing about her could be found.

If she hadn’t told him about her farm, he wouldn’t even know that she had it.

However, seeing her in person, her family’s wealth and everything about her, he could tell that there was more to her than what she was letting on. And he was curious about it.

However, at the sa ti, he was afraid of scaring her and chasing her away because of his curiosity. So only by letting her open up slowly to him can he win.

"Alas, have you noticed that there is sothing not right this year?" Diamond sighed dejectedly as she looked at the clear, starry skies.

Kian looked at Diamond with a puzzled expression, wondering what drugs his girl was on now.

"I didn’t see anything, what is it?" Kian puzzlingly asked, his curiosity piqued to the max.

Hearing his curiosity, Diamond smiled triumphantly as she felt that she had gambled right.

"Alas, you really can’t see it?"

Kian shook his head helplessly as he held her hand tightly. "No, my lady. I really can’t see anything!"

"When you look at the skies nowadays, what do you see?" Diamond mysteriously asked.

Kian scratched his head as he pondered what she was up to again.

"They are clear. Is there anything else?"

Diamond’s lips curled upon hearing that.

"Indeed, they are too clear and ...."

With such an opening, Diamond who had been racking her brains to find a way to tell the people closest to her about the impending drought finally found a chance.

All of a sudden, a date that was supposed to be enjoyed with so intimacy while walking enjoying the cool breeze ended up being one where Diamond used all the tricks in her book to convince Kian about the truth that she knew confidently.

By the ti they returned ho, Kian was in contemplation and his thoughts were unknown.

Diamond bad everyone goodnight and made her way to her bedroom.

It had been such a long day and getting so rest was truly needed.

Inside her room, Diamond didn’t go to bed directly, as she wasn’t sleepy yet. So, she changed her clothes and vanished into the Golden Space, where she dedicated herself to intense training.

After sweating buckets and aching all over, Diamond stopped her training and soaked her body in spring water.

After a soak, she felt much better and left the space appearing inside her room once again.

When she checked the ti, she was relieved that the day hadn’t ended yet. She hadn’t signed in for the day and she didn’t want to miss that chance for whatever good reason there was.

She changed into her nightwear and burrowed herself into her blankets.

’I just hope that I will get lucky again tonight!’
