Diamond understood what the man was playing at, but she didn’t hate the idea. However, there were a lot of things that needed her attention, so she wanted to deal with the issue as soon as possible.
"It’s not a problem. I am here now."
"Hehe, then please follow ."
Diamond didn’t waste any more ti and followed the manager to his office. Diamond noticed that there weren’t a lot of people in the offices and that was the first question she asked as soon as she was comfortable in the office.
"As the apartnt hasn’t officially opened to the public yet, so staff are still on their leave."
Upon hearing that answer, Diamond felt that it made sense.
After that, Diamond took out the deeds and showed them to the manager, whose na was Aleck. Aleck looked through the deeds one by one and confird that everything was legit.
After checking the docunts, Aleck had the receptionist make so copies while he showed Diamond around the block.
Diamond wasn’t going to just leave without taking a look at her property, so she dedicatedly looked at nearly every apartnt for a couple of floors. After finding out that the apartnt designs were literally the sa, she found no reason to waste her ti anymore.
She also checked the underground garage and was very satisfied with it.
It took her nearly two hours to check the building, so by the ti she was done, it was around five in the evening and the clock was ticking.
When she received her deeds back, she looked at Aleck and instructed him, "I will leave all the apartnts from the first to the sixth floor. The top four floors, I will find tenants myself."
When Aleck heard that, he was so happy as that ant that business was officially open again.
"I will release the news as soon as possible. So, how we will deal with the rent rates?"
Diamond had thought about it for a while and even compared a few places just to make sure.
Greenbay apartnts were in a great neighborhood. There was even a university close by, and the CBD was less than thirty minutes away.
"Increase the previous rates by fifteen percent," she flatly said.
For an apartnt that cost over three million, she needed to get what she deserved. From what she had learnt from Aleck, when the apartnts were operating, the rent, including utilities, was A$20,000, which was quite pricey for a place, but who made the apartnts to be in such a well sought out place?
However, a lot of things happened during the ti the building caught fire. There was inflation, real estate was blooming and the land and the buildings appreciated too.
Diamond felt that increasing the rent was the only good solution. After all, there were still several apartnts which were costly. Hers could be considered affordable.
When Aleck heard the price, his expression didn’t look well.
"Is there any problem?" Diamond asked after seeing him like that.
Usually, when soone was showing that kind of expression, it ant that sothing was bothering him. And she wanted to know what was bothering him when they were just talking about the rent.
"This .... Ms. Perry ..."
"Just speak out your mind!" Diamond urged since she didn’t want the man to be scared to voice out his opinions.
Aleck, upon hearing that, heaved a sigh of relief and began to explain himself.
"Ms. Perry, the price you have set can be considered good but I think that it is low. The next apartnt block, less than a kiloter from us with the sa design, is charging ..."
The more Diamond listened to Aleck, the more enlightened she beca.
No wonder why people always argue to let the professionals deal with what they know. Listening to Aleck, she could tell that she had nearly offered her houses for nothing and was at the sa risk of offending so property owners.
She didn’t want to make enemies at all.
In the end, after a harmonious discussion, the rent ended up being A$30,000, and she was looking forward to seeing the reactions.
After discussing that, Diamond had Nancy sign a lease for an apartnt. It took a lot of convincing, and Diamond told Nancy that it was one of the employee benefits.
However, if she were to disappoint her, then all the benefits would be stripped away.
Just like that, Nancy got herself a place to stay, and all she needed to do was buy furniture and settle down.
Since it was late, Diamond left with Nancy after settling everything and drove to Cherry Court.
Instead of letting Nancy stay at a hotel, Diamond decided to bring her to see her place. That way in the future, she would know where to find her if she wasn’t at work.
When she arrived, she wasn’t surprised to find the girls already at ho.
Diamond introduced Nancy to the girls before settling Nancy in her temporary room, since she would be moving out as soon as the furniture was in place.
That night, everyone gathered together and had a great ti as they enjoyed dinner. Being more was a good thing, and the sisters felt that life couldn’t be any better than it was.
It had been a busy day for everyone, so before ten everyone went to their rooms.
Diamond didn’t go to sleep imdiately but clicked through the docunts that Andrea had sent to her when she was dealing with the apartnts in the afternoon.
It was the registration certificates for the companies that she had instructed Andrea to open for her.
What amused her greatly was the nas that Andrea had picked for the companies. She had not picked those when she instructed him, so she was quite surprised when she saw how nice the nas were.
Diamond had Andrea register four companies for her the previous night. And it was the trading company that would be dealing with stocks. She felt that she needed a legit reason to explain where most of her money was coming from.
And since it ca from forex trading and cryptocurrency trading, as Andrea had been dealing with that from the beginning, she decided to open a company for that.
The trading company was nad simply Diamond Trading Company.
The next company was the costics company. Andrea nad it D&B Costics. With D standing for Diamond and B for beauty. The nas sounded appropriate, and she loved them.
The third company was the money or micro-lending business. For this business, she would be giving out personal loans and her target currently was her staff. Instead of letting them get scamd by others out there, she would lend them money at a low-interest rate.
That also could be considered doing a charitable deed. The micro-lending business was registered as Honest Diamond Place.
The last one was the entertainnt agency. Andrea registered it as Sparkling Diamond Entertainnt.
As she looked at the electronic certificate of incorporation, Diamond couldn’t help but smile brightly.
Andrea made sure that her trace was left in every company that she owned. That was seen in how her na was literally everywhere and the feeling was simply great.
Satisfied with the company nas, she looked at the other docunts as well. There were the revenue registrations certificates, trade certificates and other things.
Bank accounts for the respective companies were opened with generous amounts deposited as deposits.
As for how everything was completed in a day, Diamond no longer bothered to find answers. Andrea was omnipotent, after all, and she trusted him so much that she knew that he wouldn’t do anything that would bring her harm.
After checking the companies, she shifted her attention to the other docunts, which were the acquisition and share transfer for the security company that she had set her eyes on a while back.
The company was a good one. It’s been over a decade since it started and it hired retired military personnel. So, all the people that worked there had experience. That was why she targeted it.
Although it took a while to fully acquire it, Diamond knew that the previous owner received a lot of money, judging from what she was reading.
Although the company was doing great, the previous owner was having so financial problems. However, his strong belief made him so stubborn that he didn’t want to sell the company.
Diamond understood that he was afraid that so of the disabled guards would be let go if the company changed hands and his dedication to his staff was touching.
Fortunately, Andrea managed to convince the previous owner and had to sign several agreents before he was willing to sell the company.
The previous owner also received a lot of money for his trouble. So that company was officially hers.
The na of the security company was called Sentinel Armor Security, but its na didn’t respond well with her at all.
Since it was hers, she wanted to have it changed, but before doing that; she needed to talk with a few people.
Why should her company still remain so far away when she was on the other side of the country?
