Diamond and Rita exchanged contact details before the two went their separate ways.

Betty had already arranged transport for her and since she was assigned a personal driver; Diamond didn’t need to worry about that issue.

Diamond didn’t use the limousine but was driven around in a sedan, which was proper for the occasion.

Diamond’s itinerary wasn’t that complicated. She was planning on visiting so famous places in the city and getting so souvenirs and photos.

However, before doing that, she had a beef to settle with Andrea.

And since she was afraid of attracting people’s attention, Diamond had her EarPods in her ears just in case she wanted to communicate with Andrea.

Since anyone would just assu that she was on the phone, Diamond started to talk with Andrea without caring for the driver, who was seated in the front.

"Andrea, are you going to give what you promised earlier?" she asked as she tapped on her phone.

[I will send it to you now,] without making things difficult for her this ti round, Andrea responded.

Diamond smiled victoriously seeing how smoothly things had gone.

Monts later, a file popped on her screen. Diamond, being curious about what was in store for her, clicked it open and started reading.

The more she read, though, the more she felt her heart aching.

"This is everything on those two?" Diamond asked sullenly after so ti.

[Yes, that’s all I could get.]

"Then things are quite interesting and sad at the sa ti, but I think I can use this to my advantage. Where is Sullivan?" Diamond smiled playfully as she asked.

[He is in the city and he will be attending the banquet tomorrow night. So, there is a high chance of you eting.]

Upon hearing that answer, Diamond’s smile broadened. "And Kian, where is he?"

[He was supposed to co to Dielas, but it seems that Sullivan stopped him.]

"Uhmm, did you tell everything? Why does it sound as if I no longer understand what you are saying?" Diamond suspiciously asked as confusion slowly overwheld her.

[Oh! I nearly forgot to tell you but it seems that Sullivan knows about you and from the records between the brothers, those two want to be in a relationship with you.]

"So, you are telling that I might not need to implent that plan?" Diamond bead as she asked, her lips curving.

[I am afraid that must be it. You just need to hang yourself in front of him and the deed will be done. Instead of you going after them, let them co to you.]

"Son, I am starting to love you more. Why did you keep such a thing from ?"

[I was still looking into it; besides didn’t I tell you now?]

"Fine, you win. Anyway, help to keep an eye out and also see if there will be any forr acquaintances that I need to be wary of tomorrow."

[I will start on that.]

"I will bet on you then."

Diamond was in a good mood after chatting with Andrea.

And she hoped that sothing good would happen to her. Otherwise, if things were to go awry, she didn’t know how she would fare for the rest of the day.

On her way to the first destination, the system appeared, and she signed in.

Diamond received a basket of fruits, which she decided to collect once she was back at the hotel.

Traveling alone honestly could be boring, and that was the case for Diamond at that mont.

After visiting two places, Diamond just wanted to return to the hotel. However, before she could do that, she received a call from the woman she wanted to interview for the assistant position.

The female candidate was finally in Dielas, which was good news for Diamond.

Diamond then set an appointnt for dinner at Ace Hotel since she was living there.

Knowing that she wouldn’t be eating by herself, Diamond’s mood was lifted once again, and she resud the touring for the day.

Around five in the evening, Diamond returned to the hotel holding several bags that Betty helped to carry to her suite.

Diamond also inford Betty that she would be having a visitor later and that she should bring the person to her suite.

And since she was having an interview in her suite; dinner would be served there as well.

Diamond began to freshen up after sending Betty away.

She didn’t want to look intimidating, sothing that was not possible, as her face looked very friendly instead of the other way around.

So, she dressed casually and waited patiently for her guest to arrive.

Thirty minutes later, Betty rang her to tell her that her visitor had arrived and that she was coming to the suite.

With her being inford already, Diamond left the bedroom and went to sit comfortably in the lounge.

Several minutes later, Diamond was watching Betty as she ushered a formally dressed young woman whom she already knew a lot about, though the other didn’t have a single clue.

"Miss, I have brought her here. Should I bring dinner now or do you want to wait?" Betty inquired as soon as the young woman was in the room.

"Bring it now. We will chat as we eat," Diamond said before giving a long list of the food that she wanted delivered to her.

After giving Betty the order, Diamond ushered her guest to have a seat, since she was still standing.

"Thank you for coming all the way here. I hope that you had a safe trip!" Diamond kindly asked as she scanned the other for the first ti, eting in person.

She was nervous as she sat across from the woman, who proved to be much younger than she expected.

The experience, though, had taught her several tis to not judge the book by its cover, and yet she couldn’t help but continue doing so.

"I traveled safely. Thanks for inviting ."

Diamond smiled at the woman and said, "I should be thanking you instead. Anyway, let introduce myself. I am Diamond Perry and if things work out well between us, you will be working for . How about you tell briefly about yourself before dinner arrives?" before inquiring.

She sat straight like a ramrod, oozing with confidence, though inwardly she was sweating buckets.

She ca to the capital city without knowing much about the person she would be working for if things worked out. And she didn’t have a single clue as to what kind of business the other was doing as well.

However, her circumstances didn’t allow her to be picky. She was tired of being underestimated and having her achievents stolen by other people.

Working for a man was proving to be very difficult for her, as the continuous harassnt was becoming too much for her to handle.

After offending her previous employer, she wasn’t having it easy living in that city, so getting a job sowhere far away where that person didn’t have influence would do her justice and give her a breather.

So whatever business Diamond was doing, she was determined to get that position and settle down elsewhere as soon as possible.

"My na is Nancy Donald, and I am twenty-eight years old. I have a Business Administration degree and a Master’s in Global Managent. I studied abroad in ......."

Honestly, everything that Nancy was telling her was sothing that she already knew, but for appearance’s sake, she was forced to listen to Nancy. At the sa ti, she saw for herself whether she was a truthful person who could be trusted or not.

Nancy was indeed twenty-eight years old and could be considered a genius. She had been working for five years since she earned her Masters at twenty-three years old.

She worked in three companies but left for personal reasons which Andrea found to be very sensitive.

Diamond hated the previous bosses so much upon knowing how unfair life for won was, especially in a place where males dominated.

She once suffered like that, though it was mostly bullying, being alienated, and getting her achievents stolen despite how small they were.

At least no one was daring enough to molest her or sexually harass her, so she was saved from that agony. However, for Nancy, though she didn’t say that, she had suffered a lot and Diamond felt bad for her.

Nancy didn’t have any family to speak of. Scholarships saved her in school and made her the person she was today.

She was currently staying in another major city called Nerton, which was on par with Srad in terms of popularity and economic status.

She was single, not married, and didn’t have kids. And that made her perfect for Diamond to hire.

Whilst she was in the middle of introducing herself, Betty finally brought her dinner to the suite.

"Let’s eat and talk at the sa ti. Be free, wouldn’t want you to feel suffocated," Diamond gently offered as she was afraid that Nancy might try to restrain herself in order to maintain her image.

Diamond wasn’t all about images, especially when surrounded by her closest people. She had already chosen Nancy, though the other wasn’t aware of it. And since they would be spending a lot of ti together, Diamond wanted Nancy to get used to her real self.

Lately, she had been eating a lot, and Diamond didn’t want to hide that side of hers.

She was planning on showing Nancy the kind of person she would be working for in the future.

And surely, at that ti, Nancy was also worried. Looking at the table filled with so much food that two people wouldn’t finish, she was crying in agony inside.

However, since her potential employer asked her to be free, she was going to try her best.

And Diamond was the first to make a move. Nancy watched as Diamond picked a variety of food from the serving dishes and piled a small hill on her plate.

After that, she was wowed as she watched Diamond devouring the food as if it was nothing.

Looking at Diamond’s figure, which didn’t seem to be over sixty kilograms, and the food she was eating, Nancy started feeling a headache coming.

’Just how blessed is she?’
