Chapter 515: 422 “Give up obsession, instantly beco a better person”?_3
This thing seems to be truly an eyeball, not a re resemblance!
An inspiration erged:
”A Fla Bearer’s eyeball under so form, plug and play, convenient and quick…”
Looking at the object floating before his eyes, a gift resembling a human organ.
Colin was certain that he was an elite, professional agent from Bonfire Company, performing advanced tasks and undertaking disaster relief, not so organ trafficker or body harvester; he had no interest in various organs…
But his hand wouldn’t listen to him.
Colin’s body honestly extended a hand, grasping the eyeball made of flas, crystal-clear, into his palm.
Just as he took it into his hand…
The ancient bell of the “Descent Protocol” sounded leisurely.
In an instant, Colin and the others vanished.
After they left, darkness once again enveloped the starship, as if returning to its forr deadly silence.
But inside, an unknown war went on, unbeknownst to anyone.
anwhile, a distance away, the entity that had initially been drawn by Colin, upon sensing the “Fla Bearer”‘s presence,
turned away silently, pretending to know nothing and departed.
….
In a daze, Colin opened his eyes to the familiar ceiling.
‘Back again.’
Colin propped himself up, sitting up from the bed, shaking his head.
“When we left, it was through ‘Starlight Maiden’, but returning seed to be direct, bypassing it; I have no idea how it is now.”
Muttering to himself, Colin suddenly rembered sothing; he seed to have forgotten to ask about the encounters of his employees…
“The four guys who moved with
should all still be alive; they were unconscious but the amplifier’s effects were still active, and we just left together. The rest…hard to say.”
“However, no big deal, just open the parchnt and check; if not dead, one or two should now be bragging in the internal channel…”
“If I’m right, even if they died, it was within the predestined ti, an incomplete death, there might be a chance for them to co back to life later on.”
Colin prayed silently and took out the parchnt at once.
First, the mission evaluation and points etc…
A modest fifty thousand and so points, three Gold Mission Vouchers, and so other common rewards.
“Not bad, save up more points for the next golden artifact upgrade; use the vouchers to upgrade the basic panel attributes.”
This ti, Colin was no longer disdainful of the abundance of points.
After all, if he managed to level up to C Level, he should be able to unlock a golden artifact.
And that would certainly require a massive amount of points…
It’s better to save more now.
Afterward, Colin opened the communication hall to take a quick look and found that most of the employees had safely returned; based on the ti of their ssages, they had returned much earlier…
They must have co back a lot earlier than him.
‘It must be the work of that ‘Fla Bearer’.’
Colin nodded in agreent, and without lingering, proceeded to open the “Storage Room”; then he discovered the out-of-control “Ti Reversal” wasn’t in there.
He wasn’t surprised by this; after all, it was a half-out-of-control item…
Using it could bring about disastrous consequences for a large area of Earth.
But…
“Sss, the scepter I just picked up is gone too…”
Colin couldn’t help but complain.
He had taken a risk to go back to that not-quite-dead body to retrieve the special scepter…
But the company had directly snatched it away!
In Colin’s view, there was a certain chance it could replace the Bone Spur!
However, another “inspiration” erged, giving Colin so relief; the company was currently “itemizing” it and would later return it to him.
Besides, the special eyeball given by the “Fla Bearer” was lying inside.
“What’s with these Fla Bearers, why do they all like to turn parts of their own bodies into artifacts so much?”
As Colin murmured, he took it out and opened its detailed information panel.
