Chapter 156: Chapter 156 “Fusion Card: Smiling Mountain of Corpses”_1

“Fortunately, I was prepared when I woke up last ti and didn’t use those items that affect my emotions, or else it would have been really awful.”

Colin’s thoughts spun in his brain, feeling that this “backlash” had dissipated a large part of those peculiar powers inside him. Most of his organs had returned to normal and were no longer clamoring about wanting to run away from ho or sothing.

And a lot more “consciousness” had faded, leaving only a few places like the brain and the arms…

“It’s unexpected, though, that the ‘will’ in my right hand seems to have completely quieted down. It looks like the ‘betrayal’ by Yukionna dealt a big blow to it.”

Colin found it amusing and teased inwardly, now understanding that even these things were susceptible to “ntal damage.”

After taking a brief breath and adjusting himself, the consciousness in various parts of his body began to extinguish one by one…

In the end, only two brains remained.

“Goodbye.”

“Goodbye.”

With that faint exchange, the consciousness of the two brains that had stood by his side also faded away.

Imdiately after, Colin felt a wave of intense fatigue, both physically and ntally, seeping into his bones and soul.

“Finally, it’s settled.”

A weight lifted from Colin’s heart, and he didn’t feel much else emotionally. He didn’t harbor any resentnt toward his organs for developing a consciousness that betrayed him—

He was very clear about one thing: his organs had never betrayed him from the beginning to the end. They had always been a part of him.

It was the strange power that gave birth to consciousness, and that was what needed to be expelled—not the organs themselves.

“This sense, in a way, is another trap. If you can’t recognize it correctly and it lays the groundwork, then the next ti you encounter this situation, it’s bound to cause big trouble again,” he thought.

Colin’s thoughts churned, feeling these things playing dirty tricks were kind of filthy.

After calming himself for a while, suddenly, a faint sense of crisis rose in Colin’s heart…

Then he heard a pitter-patter of impactful sounds accompanied by waves of annoying crying close to his ears…

When Colin opened his eyes, he was startled, feeling the wind blowing against his face, looking at the rain pouring down above him—wasn’t he sitting on a bus? How did it turn into a convertible in the blink of an eye?

“Brother Shunzi, are you awake?”

As soon as Colin reopened his eyes, several people imdiately noticed.

Then, Dog Brother, after dealing with a flying head, excitedly said, “Brother Shunzi, we’re almost at Snow Mountain!”

Going to “Snow Mountain”? Didn’t I just have no idea about anything? How did I suddenly know where “Snow Mountain” was?

Hearing this, Colin was taken aback at first, then glanced around and didn’t spot any other wanderers.

If there were no other wanderers, then where did this information about the Snow Mountain co from?

In his confusion, Yukionna sent him a ssage—

These people had been influenced by the “Narrator” during the ti he was internally struggling.

Now, the vehicle was heading toward so unsettling destination…

‘Really troubleso; the mont I’m not careful, the house is almost stolen by that ghostly Narrator.’

Colin pressed his hand to his forehead, and then said, “Turn the car around, head in a different direction.”

“Why? We…”

“Think about it, where did you get the information about Snow Mountain from?”

“Where did I get the information? Well, of course, it’s… damn it, this damn ‘Narrator.'”

Dog Brother and the others were not deeply affected by the “Narrator,” at least not to the point of no return like Gao Haiwen. As soon as they realized sothing was amiss, their minds snapped to attention and the vehicle simultaneously changed direction…

However, just as everyone was regaining their senses, a large number of heads began to float out from the surrounding mist.

Seeing the number of heads through the vehicle’s headlights, everyone except Colin gasped in shock, because there were densely packed dozens, if not hundreds.

They were floating towards them, dragging a spine behind like a hot air balloon.

Eerie and thrilling cries echoed all around, as if countless people were weeping there…

If they ca one by one, it would have been manageable, but such a large number all at once, they weren’t confident they could cope!

And what was more troubleso was that the bus seed to malfunction again, possibly under the covert influence of the “Narrator.”

“Brother Shunzi, quickly use your invincible ti stasis to think of a solution!”

“Quiet down…”

As Colin listened to these cries, he felt irritable and exasperated. He took a deep breath, a surge of tyrannical emotion welling up inside. His bloodshot eyes opened wide as he glared at those heads:

“Cry your mother! Shut up!”

As he cursed in rage, a purple card he had never officially used before appeared in his hand—

“Fusion Card: Smiling Mountain of Corpses”!

Colin raised the card in his right hand, the thought flashed, and a sinister dark red aura burst forth from the card, speeding towards the bodies frozen on the bus…

Using all the frozen bodies on the bus as sacrificial material, he summoned the “Smiling Mountain of Corpses”!

All the bodies eerily lted, fused together, and turned into a gigantic dark red sphere. Two imnse arms grew from the sides of the sphere, and then the center split open, forming a massive mouth filled with uneven sharp teeth.

Pale, twisted faces, filled with pain, erged all over it.

“Go, kill for ! Kill fiercely!”

Colin took a deep breath and pointed forward.

In an instant, the figure of the “Smiling Mountain of Corpses” beca ethereal, dissipating into a shadow and vanishing.

As the nurous heads dove down, a shadow on the ground darkened significantly and, following that, the huge Corpse Mountain suddenly shot up from the ground, pale and twisted smiling faces erged all over its body, and it let out a heart-stopping Soul Scream to the sky.

A terrifying psychic storm swept forth.

The horrifying horde of heads seed to be intimidated by its presence, their montum abruptly decreased, and they stopped mid-air, motionless. So even tried to flee the scene.

But before they could make a move, the deep red and massive palm had already swung down.

Dust and debris exploded, a large number of heads were smashed on the spot, and then consud by the fearso dark red Corpse Mountain, becoming one after another of the strange smiling faces on its body.

The battle between the two sides turned into a lee in an instant, and the fight heated up fiercely.

“Shadow Sneak, Soul Storm, Consumptive Assimilation; aside from lacking ‘verbal assaults,’ the abilities of the ‘Smiling Mountain of Corpses’ are not much different from that of the ‘Human Patchwork Monster’…”

“However, this artifact is indeed sothing Miss Bunny or so other creator made out of the ‘Human Patchwork Monster.'”

Watching the sowhat stalemate in the battle, Colin knew that it wouldn’t be long before the victor was decided.

Because if these flying heads were struggling so much against a single “Corpse Mountain,” the situation would most likely reverse after a while…

Just as Colin had this thought, he suddenly saw that the “Smiling Mountain of Corpses,” after consuming a large number of flying heads, grew a blood-red lump nearly his own size from its swelling body.
