Shi Yun’s father, Shi Weiqiang, is a gambler.
Trying to get a gambler to quit is not easy.
If Shi Weiqiang stops gambling, the Shi family would quickly return to a normal standard of living.
Luo Yang hasn’t figured out how to keep Shi Weiqiang away from gambling yet.
But what troubles him more is that Shi Weiqiang already considers Luo Yang part of the family.
Not long ago, when Luo Yang visited the Shi family, Shi Weiqiang entrusted his youngest daughter, Shi Yun, to Luo Yang’s care.
Don’t think Shi Weiqiang said this just to scam so money from Luo Yang for gambling; he was actually serious.
Luo Yang, however, spoke with a hint of humor.
This matter is quite troubleso.
Shi Yun already has a fragile heart, and Luo Yang can’t bear to say anything that would hurt her.
These things must not be known to Tang Guihua and the others, otherwise it would be even more troubleso.
Speaking of Tang Guihua, one must ntion Mother Tang.
Luo Yang is most afraid of her.
Lost in thought, the car had already driven to the entrance of the Shi family ho.
The door was open, indicating soone was inside.
Shi Nan erged from within, dressed in casual attire, her brown curls cascading down, adding a hint of wild allure.
While Shi Nan’s features weren’t as pretty as her sister Shi Yun’s, Shi Nan’s body was more athletic.
Holding a lady’s cigarette between her right-hand index and middle fingers, Shi Nan was overjoyed to see Luo Yang.
"Niu Zai!"
"Sister Nan."
In the car, Luo Yang waved to Shi Nan.
He got out of the car and retrieved the gift from the back seat.
"Why so polite?" Shi Nan laughed.
"Just a little sothing. Is your dad not ho?" Luo Yang glanced inside the door.
If Shi Weiqiang were inside, hearing Luo Yang’s voice, he would have co out to greet him by now.
"No, co in and have a seat." Shi Nan warmly invited.
The three of them entered the house, and Shi Nan poured Luo Yang a glass of plain water.
After a few words about singing at the bar, Shi Nan suddenly said, "Niu Zai, there’s soone in our village who makes really good pickled vegetables, I’ll get so for you."
Saying that, she handed a Red Bull note to Shi Yun.
"Sis, go to Aunt Chen’s and buy a few pounds of pickles. Also, get two packs of cigarettes. And tell Kaili’s mom to help marinate a duck, I’ll give her the money later."
In one go, Shi Nan tasked her sister with several things.
Shi Yun took the money and was about to leave.
With the three together, Luo Yang didn’t feel awkward yet.
If it were just him and Shi Nan left alone, he wouldn’t know what to talk about.
"Sister Xiao Yun, I’ll go with you." Luo Yang said.
Just as he was about to get up, Shi Nan persuaded him.
"Niu Zai, you’re a guest, just sit. Let my sister go." Shi Nan advised.
"Is it far? I can drive you." Luo Yang asked.
Shi Yun shook her head with a smile, and then went out.
"Sister Xiao Yun, do you want to accompany you?" Luo Yang asked again.
"No need." Shi Yun replied.
As she spoke, her footsteps were already several ters away from the door.
Then, Shi Nan warmly said, "Niu Zai, just sit. Do you want sothing to eat?"
Saying this, she began taking items out of a large plastic bag one by one.
"Anything’s fine." Luo Yang said.
So Shi Nan put so grapes in a small bowl, washed them, and brought them in front of Luo Yang. She picked one up and offered it to his mouth, smiling, "Niu Zai, have so."
By this ti, Shi Yun had already walked far.
Suddenly, Shi Nan moved her chair closer and sat next to Luo Yang.
The two didn’t know what to say, and Luo Yang felt slightly uneasy.
The cigarette smoke wafting from Shi Nan’s mouth seed as if she could breathe fire.
"Niu Zai, we’re so familiar, why can’t we chat? You seem very shy." Shi Nan smiled slightly.
"How have you been lately?"
Luo Yang awkwardly smiled.
