The biting cold wind cut through as several figures trudged slowly through the heavy snow.
Not until the silhouette of the Abandoned Church appeared in the distance did the leader, Sun Yan, let out a sigh of relief: "We’ve arrived."
This group was none other than Sun Yan and his companions. After escaping safely from the Great Black Heaven Temple, Sun Yan returned to the Lotus Temple to pick up Jessica and Roken, and the group set off once more on the journey back to the Abandoned Church.
Although the Abandoned Church is outside the Graveyard, it is still considered part of it. To return to the Graveyard from the Spirit Realm, all they need to do is wait for the reappearance of Bloody Sunday within the church.
They entered the Abandoned Church, closed the doors, and instantly, not even the slightest bit of the cold wind could invade, making it a true sanctuary from the elents.
"Let’s just wait here. We can return soon." Sun Yan placed the beast-skin bag from his back onto the ground as he spoke.
Inside were all the provisions they had brought from the Lotus Temple, enough to sustain them until the next arrival of Bloody Sunday, ensuring they wouldn’t starve within the Abandoned Church.
"Jackson, ever since coming to this place, I’ve been wanting to ask you: what’s the deal with your Graveyard, and why did we end up here that night?"
Asked Roken, sitting down with Jessica’s help, unable to hold back his inquiry.
"Everyone has their secrets, and so things are better left unknown, Roken," Sun Yan replied calmly.
Though he had spent so ti living with Roken and Sister Jessica and saw them as reliable and trustworthy,
they weren’t Sosia or Elise, mbers of the Graveyard, so naturally, Sun Yan wouldn’t divulge all his secrets to them.
"I see, it seems you’re an Exorcist who’s co into contact with the extraordinary," Roken nodded thoughtfully.
"Also? Have you seen this with others?" Sun Yan asked curiously.
"Of course, you know, the Exorcist Association has always secretly opposed the Evil God Council. Without sufficient strength, how could we possibly stand against those lunatics of the council who borrow power from evil gods?"
Roken said mysteriously, "The Exorcist Association is just the outer facade; its core is actually an organization called the ’Saviors.’
"Saviors?! Is this organization real?"
Before Sun Yan could inquire further, Sosia suddenly exclaid in surprise.
Sun Yan asked, "You’ve heard of it?"
"Yes, I’ve heard elders in my family ntion it before. This organization originated in Europe, founded by a group of holy knights and Demon Hunters dedicated to eradicating demons. They aim to save the world, and those who threaten it will face the organization’s assassins. I never expected it to be connected to the Exorcist Association."
Sosia explained.
"Only the most elite Exorcists can join the Saviors, and even then, they start as apprentices who must pass their trials to beco full mbers,"
Roken spoke fondly, with a hint of nostalgia on his face.
"I was once an apprentice, led by a deacon through a great tree into a new world, a place ancient like in The Lord of the Rings’ Middle Ages, where I trained for three months. Unfortunately, I didn’t pass the test to beco a Savior,
but I was fortunate to learn the ability to communicate with animals from a bearded elder during those three months, which allows to communicate with animals and have them help with many tasks."
Hearing this, Sun Yan realized: "So that’s how you acquired your ability."
Previously, when Sun Yan and Roken went to New York together to find the Enchanting Demon, he witnessed Roken’s ability to control rats.
At the ti, Sun Yan didn’t question it much, as everyone has their secrets. Only now did he unexpectedly learn the truth.
What amazed Sun Yan was the existence of another Spirit Realm World in North Arica, one that could grant extraordinary abilities—a phenonon Sun Yan had never encountered before.
"Can you communicate with Dahuang?" Elise asked curiously.
"I can, but it doesn’t particularly like to respond to ."
"Woof woof woof!" Dahuang barked dismissively.
Sun Yan found a bench to sit on, feeling the porcelain jar in his travel bag, finding great reassurance.
This trip to the Tibet Spirit Realm had proven worthwhile, not only reuniting with Sosia and others but also acquiring the final piece of the four treasures necessary for survival. Once back at the Graveyard, he could seek True Monarch of Pure Origin and Mysterious Dao to cure the Evil God’s poison.
Several days later.
When the thick fog began enveloping the Abandoned Church, turning the sky blood red, Sun Yan imdiately stepped out the church doors and saw a path appear amidst the fog, its destination unknown. He excitedly exclaid, "Hurry! We can go back now."
Hearing Sun Yan’s voice, everyone beca instantly excited, quickly following along. Having spent so long in Tibet, their ntal fortitude was nearly exhausted, yearning to return to the real world and escape Tibet’s harsh cold.
As they traversed the foggy path, after an unknown length of journey, they finally saw the outline of the Graveyard.
Having been trapped in Tibet for so long, finally back in the real world, everyone couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief.
