"Livestream?"

Sosia looked at Sun Yan, puzzled. For a demon hunter, the word "livestream" was too unfamiliar.

There are so things in this world that cannot be exposed to ordinary people.

For example, demons, werewolves, the blood race—anything that would shatter an ordinary person's worldview—must absolutely not be revealed. This would cause chaos in the order of things.

And so things, even if ordinary people have their suspicions, the authorities will never confirm them outright.

Because doubt is just doubt; it has no chance of becoming reality.

If soone like Sun Yan dared to post supernatural things, like photos or videos of demons, online,

you can be sure that it wouldn't take long before the photos or videos would be taken down, and 'special agents' would promptly co to have a chat with you.

It's the sa not just in Arica, but in any country.

"Yes, I have an account on YouTube. When you get to the monastery, just use my account to start a livestream there," Sun Yan nodded and said.

Since the mission briefing ntioned that a spirit investigator strear saw a long-deceased nun in a mirror in an abandoned monastery,

there shouldn't be a problem having Sosia go there for a spirit investigation livestream.

After all, Sosia is not an ordinary person; whether in terms of physical prowess or exorcism capabilities, her skills far surpass those of ordinary people.

Sun Yan took out the Spirit Communication Necklace from his pocket, which he had received as a reward from a previous task, and put it around Sosia's neck.

This Spirit Communication Necklace allows the wearer to have the ability of the Yin-Yang Eye.

Sun Yan possesses the Celestial Eye Divine Power of the True Monarch Erlang, capable of discerning spirits and demons, so he no longer needs the necklace's effects.

Giving it to Sosia to wear would allow her to be on guard against evil spirits and prevent being caught off guard.

"Stay safe. If you run into any trouble, give a call. Oh, and for this mission, just like last ti, bring Dahuang along. It's a divine dog with a natural ability to restrain evil spirits."

Sun Yan couldn't help but give a few more reminders.

Sosia wearily waved her hand: "I know, I know. Let's talk about it after I wake up. For now, let go get so sleep."

She closed the door, effectively seeing him out.

"Is this guy really a werewolf? He can't even stay up as late as I can," Sun Yan muttered, shaking his head helplessly as he turned to leave.

In the graveyard, with Sosia and Elise there as mbers keeping watch, along with Ghost Luna also playing a role in guarding,

Sun Yan felt very much at ease leaving. Once Roken and Jessica woke up, the three of them imdiately drove to the nearest airport, bought tickets, and flew straight to New York.

In Arica, the most convenient mode of long-distance travel is actually not the car, but small aircraft.

There are nurous airports across Arica, whereas the developnt of high-speed rail and highways is not very advanced.

The reason is that Arica's coastal areas are flat plains, while the central region is mostly desert and wilderness, with few inhabitants.

This led the governnt to see little profit in laying high-speed rail between the coasts, making it more feasible to build more airports, hence aviation in Arica far surpasses high-speed rail.

Even an ordinary household could spend 100,000 US Dollars to buy a used small airplane, obtain a pilot's license, and fulfill their dream of flying travels.

Small planes, which can only carry two or three people, are the most popular mode of transport in the central region.

A few hours later.

A comrcial flight slowly landed at New York City Airport.

Sun Yan, carrying a travel bag, exited the airport along with Roken and Jessica, looking at the bustling crowds outside the airport gates, feeling elated.

This big city is really sothing else.

Having lived in Chinatown from a young age, he recalled that he had never been to New York, so he felt a sense of novelty towards the international tropolis.

"Where are we headed now?" Sun Yan asked Roken.

Unfamiliar with the city, he had to rely on Roken, the host, to lead the way.

"Sorry, I need to visit the church first, so I can't accompany you both. See you next ti."

Jessica politely nodded at Sun Yan and Roken, then flagged down a taxi by the roadside and left.

"Such a heartless woman. We went through life-threatening crises together, at least,"

Roken lanted with a click of his tongue as he watched the taxi drive away.

"A nun is, after all, part of the clergy; she must have her obligations. Shall we start looking for that enchanting demon now?" Sun Yan asked.

"No rush. The enchanting demon won't act during the day. Let's go to my place to rest for a while, and we'll continue when night falls."

Roken patted Sun Yan on the shoulder and headed straight toward another taxi.

Space in New York City is at a premium, and to Sun Yan's surprise, although Roken didn't seem wealthy, his residence was in the city center.

Though it was just a little under 100 square ters of apartnt space, from the balcony he could overlook the streets of New York, observing the bustling traffic below.

Walking through the door, Sun Yan was imdiately struck by the apartnt's unobstructed north-south view and its elegant interior furnishings.

On the leather sofa lay three Maine Coon cats, with two Arican bully dogs sprawled on the floor. The glass cabinet by the wall housed a collection of animals like snakes, scorpions, lizards, and snapping turtles.

For Sun Yan, who often found just managing to eat and drink a hassle, keeping pets like these was out of the question.

Living like this definitely cos with so wealth!

On the living room wall hung a massive magnetic board covered with various photos and stacks of paper docunts.

Sun Yan approached for a closer look and discovered that these boards contained personal information about criminals and cultists.

This information included where they lived, their disguised occupations, all thoroughly investigated and clearly outlined.

"What an information network! Is this how you managed to track down that enchanting demon?" Sun Yan asked, pointing at the board.

"Yes, I was naturally strong at intelligence gathering, so in terms of finding demons, I have an advantage over other exorcists in New York City. This ti you chose to cooperate with , there absolutely won't be any problems."

Roken took off the holster with the revolver, placed it on the cabinet, and removed his leather coat.

It was only then that Sun Yan noticed an angel tattoo on Roken's left arm.

It was an armored masked angel, holding a long sword, exquisitely crafted.

Judging by the design, it appeared to be a war angel, the kind commissioned by God to vanquish demons.

"Mr. Roken, where do exorcists like you get specially made exorcism firearms and exorcism bullets?" Sun Yan asked curiously.

"The Saint Danren Armant Factory, it's not open to the public. Only mbers of the Exorcist Association can buy from it. It's said that the church is the institution supporting this factory, and these exorcism weapons are all based on church's technology."

Roken bent over and rummaged through boxes and cabinets, soon pulling out a tal card from a basket and handing it to Sun Yan.

"This is the purchasing channel for Saint Danren's military weapons. If you need it, you can contact Mr. Borgie. I've been his long-ti custor."

Sun Yan took the card, looked at the na and contact information on it, and imdiately slipped it into his pocket.

Unexpectedly, the thods of exorcists in North Arica are updating so rapidly, they even have a Demon Exorcism Armant Factory.

No wonder Geralt handed over the demon exorcism shotgun to Sun Yan so decisively before.

It turns out it's not a rare item, one only needs to spend money to purchase a new one.

"Please sit, you don't have to be so formal in my house, I'm quite easygoing," Roken called to Sun Yan before heading to the bathroom for a shower.

Sun Yan continued to stand by the blackboard, checking the various posted information.

Thieves, robbers, wanted criminals.

Cults, wizards, traces of demons.

Roken had basically investigated all of New York's hidden criminal threats in secret, leaving Sun Yan quite amazed by this intelligence capability.

How could an ordinary human accomplish sothing like this?

Clearly, Roken's capabilities are far from what they appear to be.

"Huh? This is! How is this possible?!"

As he skimd over a particular docunt, Sun Yan's expression suddenly changed.

He quickly reached out to take down this docunt from the blackboard for a closer look.

Attached to this docunt was a color photograph of an elderly man in a black robe, with a bandage covering the lower half of his white-haired face.

Even with half his face covered, Sun Yan recognized the identity of the person through his eyes.

The person was none other than his already deceased grandfather.

The docunt also had Roken's notes accompanying it:

[A powerful and mysterious Taoist, he killed over thirty criminals in New York City before mysteriously disappearing. I've never been able to find any more traces of him.]

Sun Yan checked the date on the docunt, only to find it was three months before his grandfather's death. Follow current novᴇls on Nov3lFɪre.ɴet

"Grandfather once ca to New York City and killed over thirty people? Why would he do that?"

Sun Yan was baffled, taking out his phone to capture the docunt, then sticking it back on the board.

Sun Yan had always harbored doubts about his grandfather's death.

Seeing clues about his grandfather at Roken's house only deepened his curiosity.

As the previous Graveyard keeper, who held the position for decades, Sun Yan's grandfather definitely possessed greater strength than Sun Yan.

After all, Sun Yan had been the Graveyard administrator for less than two months.

Why would such a powerful exorcist mysteriously die at ho? There must be more to the story.

"Coming to New York this ti wasn't without its gains," Sun Yan thought to himself as he sat down on the sofa.

The Maine Coon cat, originally resting nearby, wasn't afraid of people. Seeing Sun Yan sit down, it imdiately ca over and settled beside him.

Resting its large head on Sun Yan's lap, Sun Yan gently rubbed the cat's head with his fingers.

The plump cat began to purr contentedly with its eyes half-closed, flipping onto its chubby belly.

This was a sign that the cat was quite pleased.

The sun set, and New York City greeted a bustling night.

As a city known for its nightlife, evening is the liveliest ti.

People who have worked all day choose to go out and relax, releasing their stress.

Hippies and street rappers head to clubs to dance and to smoke a bit of "that leaf."

Various entertainnt services open up at night, attracting a torrent of custors.

Beneath the apparent brilliance and glamour, many unspeakable dark elents also erge.

This is the breeding ground of sin and the pri ti for cri.

On the street of New York City, Burger King.

"Eat first, you need energy to find that Enchanting Demon."

Placing a tray of burgers and fried chicken on the table, Roken grabbed one right away, stuffing it into his mouth while muttering.

"Where should we go to find the Enchanting Demon?" Sun Yan asked, picking up a burger.

This Arican burger was a calorie bomb; not only did it have three layers of beef patties, but it also included butter, cheese, salad, and ketchup.

Each bite was overwhelmingly rich yet satisfying.

Roken flashed a knowing smile, baring his teeth: "The beach club, a man's paradise."
